To all: If you have a question about something I said while insanified then please ask me, I don't think I'm up for translating each post.

Can you clarify this post a little? It looks like the translator got it really bad, I see maybe three words that look like they were meant to be there.a2thezebra wrote:cookshop sugarplum bighead halter hustler infatuated you'll be athleticism to solfeggio the font halter is too roarer crier piguid crier Unhelpful Banana You Lost Me itself, some of indigitate aapje Eko understanding trocar chorea of what I'm Obscure Boot at.

That was an attempt to clarify that people might be able to understand some of my insanified posts better if they quote me, because that way they can see the tiny font which in some cases contains crucial words for understanding them. Now it's kind of pointless though since you can just ask me.Dana wrote:Can you clarify this post a little? Anyway I'm about to go see Hail Caesar so feel free to ask me a ton of questions (I'm not being funny, please do) and I'll get back to you when I get back to you.

OK, I am looking forward to discussing our mutual Black Rock suspicion with Zebra. Perhpas we can come to an accord while neither of us are insanified.
I still think Nutella & Black Rock were partners.
And Black Rock it was a game at Lostpedia. Maybe Heroes? It might be memorable to you since LC was also on our team. That was the game you told me never to mention teammates, it was bad form. It was only my second baddie game. And I have not had bad BTS with you in a long time, other than Fight Club; I don't recall being aware that you don't throw people under the bus.
So I still kinda think you threw her under the bus

Hey folks, I'm sorry. I'm totally beat tonight and I figure, since people want earlier deadlines anyway, I'll just up the post early tomorrow. It's really not even a lot of work but I'm still missing PMs and this might be the most convenient thing for everyone.

Also it is far from "essentially something like this".The big thing against Scotty was that his post was considered a slip, something he wanted to post in a BTSC thread. If you view my post as something that I actually wanted to post in a BTSC thread, you've got yourself a point. But you don't, so don't present it like that.
@ LC: If i wanted to call a hit on her, I'd do it on a night that the non-nutella baddie team kills. So next night maybe

Also, that first sentence looks more like a mild accusation than a question. Why is there a question mark?

From my (Civ) point of view, this was an easy and obvious way for the baddies to secure a frameup job. Thanks! Now I do remember that. It's all coming back, it's all coming back to me now. /meatloaf
And I 100% hear you, and understand what you're saying Re: frame job. My only issue is that something SVS said at least once just gave me a twinge that she may have had some inside info, and wanted to share it, without dumping.
Also, I feel like the WIFOM-iness could go even further (if you want to get real crazy)... like maybe a ballsy baddie team WOULD go ahead and do that, just because most peeps would expect them to NOT to do that, because it would seem too obvious. So then, they could do it to try to protect a member of the team. If that makes sense. Not that I'm saying I 100% believe that's what happened, just that I don't really like a WIFOM-y reasoning to overly influence my thinking. I think it's speculation at best, and too easy for baddies to manipulate at worst.
Hence all that why I want to do some reading. I'm on my way out the door currently, but wanted to share these thoughts ASAP to get some more input and conversation going. I may be missing something uber-obvious here, but I just got that "inside info twinge", and I think it's important to consider that. At least for me it is, due to my read on and past experience with SVS.

It's WIFOM. When someone says that you've got something on your face you don't get to decide whether they're right or not. You said something suspicious, deal with it. Also you don't need to introduce sprityo to the concept of jokes, he brought it up in the same quotebox you're responding to before you did.Typhoony wrote:It's called a joke.sprityo wrote:for the irony that everyone hopped onto Scotty for essentially something almost like this. humor me with explaining why you might even suggest killing zebra, typhoony?a2thezebra wrote:Good question.sprityo wrote:Typhoony wrote:Yes I forgot about that. Why is everyone saying RIP S~V~S when her alignment wasn't revealed? A bit odd, although at this point I suspected her less than BR/LC/Typh. That "from my (Civ) point of view" is so overkilll you just have to be bad, and talking about how it was a frame up job comes across to me like you were the one that killed her so you could introduce this discussion to make BR look better. I'm willing to bet you two are teammates at this point, come at me.Long Con wrote:Look under each person's avatar to find a red link that says "In Topic".

I'm voting for typh since I find it odd that out of all the people I interacted with (which was no one p much) I get targeted for a role block. No one exactly has any high opinions of me, just that I am not really here and "haven't really contributed since day one" so I will keep this as my driving reason until further notice

Re: [DAY 5] Mafia of Montreal: A Variety of Whimsical Murder
Sorta clarification: I only interact with typh and I get roleblocked, therefore they are likely to be related and I should vote him
Re: [DAY 5] Mafia of Montreal: A Variety of Whimsical Murder
So, at this point, I'm pretty darn sure LC and Typhoony are teammates. I'm not so sure about Black Rock (and at this point, it would be him alone on coquelicot side if i'm keeping track of things correctly - nutella switched MM over and they both died, and the role left that insanifies people is a civvy role. Since the kills switch off like they do between teams, I think it would be better to take one of them out this go around so as to preserve that lack of coordination between mafias. Since there's votes on Typhoony already, i'm going to go ahead and vote for him - think it would be a purty darn good idea to take one of them out today no matter what

I keep asking myself why you're still alive... I mean if I got to kill someone it'd probably be you. I can't imagine why a baddie team would keep you alive. Except you're on it, right? When I think of what you're playing at, it all makes a lot more sense when I picture you as on a baddie team. Likely the Gay Parade ones.a2thezebra wrote:Black RockBlack Rock wrote:Great. It's funny you should say this - it's not Typhoony and I that are teammates, it's a2thezebra and Typhoony. Just look back over their "argument" posts, several times during this game. These are not real arguments, they're arguments for the sake of distancing. Lemme pull up the example that really clicked it for me...ekeknat wrote:So, at this point, I'm pretty darn sure LC and Typhoony are teammates. Since there's votes on Typhoony already, i'm going to go ahead and vote for him - think it would be a purty darn good idea to take one of them out today no matter what
Lemme translate the insanity. "This has nothing to do with nutella, I didn't even mention nutella. PLEASE STOP [MISREPRESENTING] ME EVERY TIME YOU RESPOND"a2thezebra wrote:This has nothing to do conglutination nutella, hermitage Karma Chameleon macaronic mention nutella. Voluptuous Siren PLEASE liar lied STOP STOP bilboes is that a piano? digladiation ME EVERY EVERY EVERY TIME TIME theophobist YOU YOU YOU RESPOND RESPOND team.Typhoony wrote:If you read my posts, you would know I don't think Dana is nutellas teammate.a2thezebra wrote:Why are you obligor to reason with Dana if you mastermind her vote was baddie-motivated to begin with and she is therefore not genuinely confused wagon to why a tie wouldn't be beneficial? Oh I know! Because you're the one who's putting on saving act.
The discussion had everything to do with nutella, because they were talking about Dana being nutella's teammate, because it revolved around Dana trying to save nutella in that lynch.
There's no reasonable interpretation of Typh's post that would lead to a reaction like that, and that's because it is fake. It's extreme distancing. I would rather vote for a2thezebra today, but Typh already has 2 votes, so we'll see. If a couple of votes come in for zebra, then I'll gladly place my vote there as well, otherwise you can count me in for a Typhoony lynch.
There's also this:
Typhoony wrote:It's called a joke.sprityo wrote:for the irony that everyone hopped onto Scotty for essentially something almost like this. humor me with explaining why you might even suggest killing zebra, typhoony?a2thezebra wrote:Good question.sprityo wrote:Typhoony wrote:Yes I forgot about that. Please stay insanified so I can act like I don't know what you are saying. In the mean time I will just kill you so I won't have to bother with you anymore. Great idea if I say so myself
Harmless joke or something else?
Also it is far from "essentially something like this".The big thing against Scotty was that his post was considered a slip, something he wanted to post in a BTSC thread. If you view my post as something that I actually wanted to post in a BTSC thread, you've got yourself a point. But you don't, so don't present it like that.
@ LC: If i wanted to call a hit on her, I'd do it on a night that the non-nutella baddie team kills. So next night maybe
S~V~S accused me of "pokey jabs" or something like that, but that's not what I was doing. Typh's answer here actually made me suspicious because it just shows how his thinking is immersed in the baddie team. I totally believe him that he's not on nutella's team, but just bringing up what he did in his answer to me shows *how* he's thinking about the idea of "calling a hit". Personally, I haven't thought too much about which baddies are killing on which night, but it's clearly on Typhoony's mind.Long Con wrote:Hmmm... another good answer.Maybe too good...

And this... are you kidding me? What reasonable person would label my response as "WIFOM"? It's not hard to understand that I said what I said because, duh, I am not bad and I do not control the baddie kill.a2thezebra wrote:Speaking of WIFOM...Long Con wrote:That's a very generous offer, but unfortunately, I have to turn it down.Typhoony wrote:Tell you what, LC. I did not even mention nutella, the discussion had nothing to do with her. How is this even a thing you're contesting? I was saying that Dana's vote was not suspicious. Typhoony may have been speculating about nutella but I was not, and I was only discussing how utterly contrived and rehearsed Typhoony's "suspicion" of her based on that vote was.

The hell? Typhoony put words in my mouth responding to a fucking insanified post and it's "extreme" if I get mad about it? You're bullshitting so hard right now, I don't believe that you believe a word of what you're insinuating.

Once again you're really stressing your hypothetical civilian alignment way, way too much. I mean, "duh?" REALLY? I don't care if you're confirmed civilian, you never say "duh" regarding your alignment in a game that revolves around deceit. Humor me, what makes it so hilariously obvious that you aren't bad? Your response is WIFOM because it's obviously disingenuous. You're playing ball with WIFOM and you're incriminating yourself in the process because you're scared that doing anything else but playing along with Typhoony's WIFOM would make you look nervous. And why the fuck even have "I do not control the baddie kill" as part of your sentence? If you're not bad isn't that a little redundant? This is what I'm talking about when I say that you're civ act is hilariously forced and obvious. Black Rock should recognize this, but she doesn't. Ergo you two are teammates, deal with it.
a2thezebra has been flinging mud pretty much everywhere to see what sticks...
You've hosted me before. You know my play style. How is this even an indication of suspicious behavior for anyone, let alone me who is well-known for consistently doing it? All you're describing is a play style, not an alignment-indicative behavior. And you know this.

Re: [DAY 5] Mafia of Montreal: A Variety of Whimsical Murder
So you're playing the meta card, with an S~V~S-style helping of "here's what you should already know". I wish I were a Mafia computer-brain that recorded everything that everyone does across every game they play, but that is not the case.
I associate constant mud-flinging with baddieness, because I mostly see baddies doing it. Maybe you do it as a Civ, and maybe you don't, I see it as a scum tell.
And as for the "duh" response... the "duh" wasn't "duh, obviously I'm a Civvie", it was "duh, obviously that's what I meant with my comment that you labelled as WIFOM".
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE STOP STOP STOP MISINTERPRETING MISINTERPRETING MISINTERPRETING MY MY MY POSTS POSTS POSTS!
But seriously, once again, there's no reasonable way you actually read my post that way. You're right about one thing, though:

It IS redundant, because my post that you labelled as WIFOM implies it clearly. The only reason I had to reiterate it in plainer language is because YOU decided to attack and misinterpret it.And why the fuck even have "I do not control the baddie kill" as part of your sentence? If you're not bad isn't that a little redundant?
