Civilians and Mafia, Townies and Scum! [FULL GAME]

I must say... I hadn't hosted a really "traditional" (meaning non-LMS) game in five-ish years until Mafia of Montreal came along. I'm simply having too much fun hosting that game, but I recognize it could've been a lot better. This game is an expansion of the same concept, but I don't want to bother with a theme, this is straight 2v2 Mafia. I hope you like it and I appreciate any feedback!

The game ends as soon as at least one of each Civilians/Mafia and Townies/Scum faction is wiped out.
Civilians and Mafia, Townies and Scum, Dependents and Independents!
(a game for 32 players)
Civilians - 9 (Must kill Independents, Mafia and one of Townies/Scum to win.)
- Good Cop: Curses a player every night, and learns if they’re Civilian or Mafia. If they’re Townies or Scum, the cop won’t learn their role.
- Vengeful: If lynched, can take down another player of their choice.
- Jailkeeper: Simultaneously role-blocks and protects a player from all night actions every night.
- Miller: Shows up as Scum to role-checkers.
- Coward: Is immune to all night powers for the first four nights of the game. Receives increasing numbers of votes for every post they make after receiving their first vote.
- Ninja: Has a one-time kill they may use at any time in the game.
- Angel: May resurrect a player once in the game.
- Vanilla Civvies (2). Vanilla.


Townies - 9 (Must kill Independents, Scum and one of Civilians/Mafia to win.)
- Mayor: May either stop or switch the lynch once in the game
- Masons (2): Have BTSC with each other.
- Tracker: Follows a player every night and learns who they interacted with. If the tracked player dies, and the killer is the only other person to have targeted them, the Tracker dies as well.
- Clumsy Bodyguard: Switches places with a player every night.
- Invisible: Their vote in the lynch never counts.
- Detective: Role-checks a player every night, but only learns whether they’re Townies, Scum, or neither.
- Vanilla Townies (2): Vanilla.


Mafia - 3 (Have BTSC. Must kill Independents, Civilians and one of Townies/Scum to win.)
- Tough Guy: Appears as a random role to detectors. Secret.
- Strong Arm: Kills on odd nights.
- Bad Cop: Curses a player every night, and learns if they’re a Civilian. Once in the game, the cursed player may be recruited. Once recruited, the player takes over the team’s kill but doesn’t gain BTSC or learn their roles.


Scum - 4 (Have BTSC. Must kill Independents, Townies and one of Civilians/Mafia to win.)
- Enforcer: Kills on even nights.
- Blocker: Blocks on odd nights.
- Godfather: Appears as Townie to detectors.
- Goon: Vanilla.


Dependents - 4 (Have BTSC. Specific win conditions.)
- Goodie: Can’t die on odd days or even nights. Wins in case of a Civilian/Townie joint win.
- Baddie: Can’t die on odd nights or even days. Wins in case of a Mafia/Scum joint win.
- Odd: Can’t die on odd days or nights. Wins in case of a Civilian/Scum joint win.
- Even: Can’t die on even days or nights. Wins in case of a Townie/Mafia joint win.


Independents - 3 (Have BTSC. Must kill all of Civilians, Townies, Mafia and Scum.)
- Serial Killer: Kills every night. If the Serial Killer and a Follower vote together, their two votes become three. If all three vote together, their three votes become four.
- Follower (2): One will die in the Serial Killer’s place if someone tries to night kill them. If the Serial Killer is lynched, a Follower inherits the role.

Yes I intentionally used the most annoying names possible :p But that's part of the fun!

I don't know why, but I'd love to be a part of this chatroom. It sounds like a fun place to hang out, if not an especially productive place.

That team is something that I've wanted to do for a long time, but in execution they always ended up dying early :p Just, the idea of a team that can't win together but still has what I think is a pretty big advantage in terms of info/perspective. I just like to think they would take advantage of those connections to form a solid game plan (especially since they share some common goals).

Hmm don't think so, because I'm running the game so that it ends when 2/3 factions have died out.
