Sandman is a tale that takes place within the DC comics universe of Batman, Superman, Constantine, etc, but it isn't a superhero tale. It's a tale of the Endless - seven eternal siblings who are personifications of the core aspects of our reality: Destiny, Death, Dream, Desire, Despair, Delirium, and their brother who left his post. It's the tale of Morpheus, aka Dream, aka the Sandman. The core of this epic story is the idea that eventually a person has to change, or die... and it's about Morpheus' coming to that realization and making a decision.

Written by Neil Gaiman, it is one of the best things I have ever read.

Finally got around to reading the entire run about two years ago and loved it.

A lot of good stuff, and not necessarily the best story, but for some reason, the early issues with Dr Destiny freaked me the eff out and I count those issues among my favorite storyline of any comic ever. Haha. Seriously, before I read those issues, I always thought Doc Destiny was just some punk the Justice League tossed around.

Anyway, I will play this when it gets rebooted.

I loved the original game; it was a lot of fun, and I got really really into my role.

The original game was sooooooooooooooooo frustrating. Bang head against the wall frustrating. I loved my role though so I wouldn't mind that again.
