Pieces of the Puzzle

Batman sat at the giant, futuristic Batcave computer, entering information from the night into a matrix. "Alfred, I know the clues are out there to solve this, but," he ran a hand back across his head, pulling the cowl back and scratching his head, staring at the updated matrix. "It's like the whole city's gone slightly mad."

Alfred arched an eyebrow as he set a platter down beside the console, removing the silver lid to reveal a delicious meal. "Gone mad, sir? In what way?"

Bruce turned his head to Alfred, away from the giant screen glowing with the faces of Killer Croc, Harley Quinn, Hugo Strange, and the Calendar Man. "The answers I've gotten have been true, but the logic within them is... broken. Disconnected."

Suddenly, the screen flared red, and a police broadcast popped up in a glowing soundwave, "...suspect fled on foot. Three officers are pursuing, one is down and needs medical attention. Victim showed no signs of life, license identified him as "sig". Repeat, we are at the corner of Main St and Faxcol Dr, in pursuit of a murder suspect..."

"I suppose I could warm this up for you later, Master Bruce," said Alfred to no one in particular, for Batman was already peeling out of the Batcave in the Batmobile.

sig has been killed by the Falcone family.

It is now Day 4. You have 48 hours to lynch someone.

Yes, I saw the article in yesterday’s Gotham Times regarding the public hanging of that demented clown, the Joker.

Good riddance, I say.

I’m not one for public hangings in this modern age, but it’s what the town wanted. I’m nervous we don’t have a grasp on this city any more, gents. And now isn’t a time to make the quota with parking tickets, either. If we weren’t so trigger happy around town, this wouldn’t be a conversation. But alas.

It was brought up by the cop in cubicle number 2 that one of the escaped villains, that bird-brained Penguin, has been prudently laying low while the city devolves into name-calling. I agree with this, and would like to move on from this discussion. Thank you for your input, Cop Number Two.

Last night, the Batman left a cold, half-eaten carton of Easy Mac on my doorstep with a note that read, “From Bats with Love”. It even had one of those heart face whaddaya-call-its on it. I was not pleased at first, but I realized I hadn’t eaten in a long while, and after a long, fruitless day of investigating, it quite hit the spot.

What a jokester. I thought the Joker was hanged, but who knows? Maybe the Batman is the Joker after all? One day I’ll get answers. And one day we'll uncover the location of the terrorists that continue to access our free world.

I already explained why I didn't N2 because I got that message telling me to go to the Asylum to get the antidote.

I voted N3 quickly without even posting (you can check my ISO) because I was in a rush and I've been busy, then I thought I probably should have gone to the hospital.

I already came to terms with my death the moment I got poisoned. And if you all don't believe me on not being engaged, that's your prerogative. Over half of my posts are chaos posts; I'm just popping in and having fun with it at this point. I couldn't keep up with the volume of posting for a while there, and still can't frankly, so then when I got poisoned, I thought well, fuck it. I'm not taking the game seriously, and I'm finding it more enjoyable that way.
