Re: Arkham Mafia [Day 4]
RIP sig. I honestly think you were good, or at least town-centric.
So glorf. You have used the argument "I don't know why anyone would view me as bad because I'm obviously good" twice now. That's like walking into McDonalds, standing in the line for 10 minutes without saying anything, tapping your foot and going, "Well? Why is my food not out yet?"
What makes you so obviously civ, Glorf?

So TH you're saying he's more likely to vote himself as a civ, did I understand you correctly?

Re: Arkham Mafia [Day 4]
Yep, I was looking for validation for a lazy vote. Too true.
But my situation at that point of yesterday was that I was being quite literally the least lazy I've ever been in my life.
What exactly do you want from me, TH, on a day when I couldn't participate? What do you think my better approach could be, when everyone who I had suspicion of had given me a defence that I had no time to investigate? Should I have simply pretended they gave no defence and voted for them anyway? I would have been very upset with myself if I'd started a vote run on a contributing townie because I had to vote so early and wasn't able to substantiate my suspicion.
I was looking for views on the non-participant options, but I got none at all. Just Mac snapping at me for answering a question that could have been directed at anyone.

Re: Arkham Mafia [Night 3]
No matt. I don't have bts with mac. I don't have bts with anyone. I had been posting in pieces and parts and had a half formed thought I didn't backspace. I was on my phone. No tabs black TS background. Absolutely no way for me to have accidently eff up bts codes. Just for you matt. That whole day, I drove from home to the store in central phx - then out to 32nd st./thomas then back to the store then to 51st and Mohave then back to the store then back to 32nd st/thomas then worked a shift at my store. Literally in my car the whole time. You know phx a little more than most peeps on this site. Can you see me tab switching and doing crazy shit like that from my phone during all that traffic? Being on one site was dangerous enough.Matt wrote:Observe...
After this, the conversation ends and never picks back up. Mac continues to "suss" bea but doesn't push her at all. I was waiting for something to be able to respond to from you.
You eye me because of tone? Um...sorry? IDK how my tone here is different from any other time I play. Today is a day off so I happen to be around a bit more than normal....outside of that, I've got nothing.
Seems more like you didn't want to confront me about it. Hoped it'd just go away.
Like I said. You didn't give me anything to respond to so I didn't
Sorry you disliked my tone.
She says "If there's one thing I do know about you Mac it's that you don't just go away. " That looks like bea saying "Hey teamie, stop", especially with the wink.
I also strongly believe this post...

Interesting point about BR TH.
Also interesting point about Mac dom.
Lots to think about and little time for posting.
I always worry that my

I kind of don't think MP would self vote as a civilian in this situation. Surely a civilian with no interest in the game just takes throws at the stumps even with all time apathy.
That being said... Golden thought Zebs was Ghul, what if it's MP?
U Ghul MP?

Re: Arkham Mafia [Day 4]
The only thing that's off is you've never seen me do a drive by because I've never had to before, so you have no precedent to compare it to.
It is not lost on me that there would come a point in this game that I would be suspected for, in essence, absenteeism. It wasn't lost on me when I made those posts yesterday, either. But there is literally no approach I could take to being absent that wouldn't draw someone's eyebrow because by definition it looks different to normal me.
Either you take my explanation at face value (and its the complete truth) or you don't, but there is nothing more I can say to it other than what I said both when you sussed me immediately after the vote and then sussed me again now. I can't in good conscience vote for a contributor when I don't have time to do my due diligence. There was no secondary thought process, nothing else to be dug into. I had no time for extraneous thought about mafia yesterday.

Did I do anything transparently different to jeopardise my civ cred in World Reborn, TH? You were on my team.
If anything, I'd think the most likely conclusion you could draw is the fact that I wasn't the slightest bit worried about taking an entirely different approach is that you can virtually rule me out from recruitment that night.

Re: Arkham Mafia [Day 4]
This is a rhetorical question, btw Glorf. Because you're no more obviously civ than I am.Scotty wrote:RIP sig.
I just cringe when I hear that as an argument, and it doesn't make you seem any more civ than I you make yourself out to be.
Now that sig is gone and out of your hair, any better suspicions?

Re: Arkham Mafia [Day 4]
Doesn't sound much like a challenge. What, we lynch one of the Falcone family, I assume you mean by that? So, I have a possibly 3 in 27 chance or something. Now, if I WAS recruited, that would be pretty easy, since I'd know who to bus. A bit harder when I only have a 1/9 shot.Turnip Head wrote:Boot I'll geefe-a yuoo zee seme-a chellenge-a I'fe-a geefee iferyune-a ilse-a thet I soospect. Um de hur de hur de hur. Prufe-a me-a vrung.
How about I prove you wrong just by catching up with the thread and continuing to contribute how I normally do. You didn't think I was bad before. Why does the fact I had a busy day make a difference?
@TH - so, you think the fact I already knew you were bad... and therefore had to virtually BACKTRACK on existing known suspicions in the thread most uncomfortably and somehow figure out how to not lynch you when I'd already given the symbol for having caught you in the thread, it makes sense that I look no different. But a game where I have no idea who is bad, it makes sense for me to act completely differently?
Maybe we need to go back to first principles here - explain ANY thought process that would lead me to say "I've been recruited. Better act weird and different now."
