Really? Jethro Tull is considered one of the big 6 over Rush? Rush is the first band I think of when I hear "prog rock".
Rush didn't even get rolling until 1974, when Yes' Tales From Topographic Oceans had already killed the genre. Also, they are not British.

Sorry I've been more quiet lately, the game I'm hosting over at RYM is quite a complicated one with many questions to answer. I haven't caught up yet but please ask me anything.
A rousing game of trivia had everyone feeling better again. But Boris was getting frustrated. Despite his best efforts, he had still been unable to dispatch Bullwinkle; the moose continued to outwit him at every turn.
"Outvitted?!" Boris exclaimed.
"Yeah, and I'm handsome too!" said Bullwinkle.
Sloonei has been killed.
You have 24 hours to lynch a baddie
A message from Aesop and Son:
Joe had everything a bachelor could ever dream of - a nice car, a good job, a large apartment on the good side of town, and a decent amount of money in his bank account. Joe was living the dream. But Joe had a problem: he would not, under any circumstances, take off his stupid baseball cap.
If Joe went to the grocery store, he wore his cap. If Joe went out on the town, he wore his cap. If Joe went to the gym, he wore his cap. Party? Cap. Wedding? Cap. Shower? You guessed it: cap. His friends were, frankly, baffled that he managed to hold his good job while wearing the thing, but apparently Joe was so good at what he did that his superiors ignored the habit. But really, worst of all, Joe had this infuriating habit of calling the cap his “lid,” and his friends had had enough.
One day, Joe’s friend Moe confronted him about the issue. “What’s with the hat, man?” he asked. Joe frowned, then looked Moe in the eye. “It’s not just the lid I care about,” Joe admitted. “It’s the stupid haircut I’m trying to hide.” He pulled off the cap to reveal a greasy, tangled mess of overgrown, uneven curly locks. “No matter who I see to cut it, they just make it worse and I hate it! It’s easier just to wear my lid.” Joe looked like he was about to cry, but Moe grinned. “That’s the big secret?” Moe laughed. “Come on, dude - I’ll take you to my lady, Annie DeVine. She’s amazing and hasn’t failed me yet.”
The two made their way to the famed hairdresser’s place, where she threw Joe’s cap aside and proceeded to cut away his matted hair. When she was finished, Joe was left with a beautiful, shiny coif, the envy of everyone in the salon. Joe looked at Moe, who nodded approvingly. But when Joe went to grab his ratty hat off the floor, Moe snatched it away and handed it to the hairdresser. Joe grew angry. “What’s the deal, man? It’s still my lid!” Moe shook his head and wagged a finger at his friend.
“The hair is you, man,” Moe said with a grin, “but the lid? DeVine’s.”

I wanted to see how long the charade would last. Tricking everyone into thinking that their vote would be stuck in place would mean they couldn't dance around, and would have to more seriously think about who they drop their vote on.

I had such a freakin' amazeballs day y'all. It was like I left earth for a while and had no responsibilities whatsoever. I love my fellow homeschool mommas.

I've won a lot of games. I've hosted some games. The end.
Why are our votes already spread among three people?
Zebra, Eloh isn't bad. Go for someone else. Let's work on this while I'm here for a bit.
I've been tinfoiling today (and it may be lingering stomach flu talking), but I've been wondering things. I'm gonna have a look at good ol' voting records for a bit.
Zebra: Consistent. Incorrect on four occasions, but consistent. Votes on the second Scotty lynch.
bea: Two missed votes, votes for Scotty the second time.
Wilgy: Votes Scotty the first day (the only one to vote him IIRC), then votes all over the place. Completely avoids both Scotty lynches, claims he was forced. Hmm.
Eloh: Votes on both Scotty lynches. Misses a vote that almost kills her.
LC: Votes Scotty the second day, misses the first Scotty "lynch," votes in the non-changeable second Scotty lynch for Wilgy, after Wilgy since.
Me: I'm perfect. Actually, I've just been lazy, if I'm going to be honest, but at least I managed to get one.
Sorsha: Complete avoids both Scotty lynches.
sprityo: Misses the second Scotty lynch completely.
So I suppose the three that stand out to me, voting wise, are Sorsha, Wilgy, and LC. What do two of them have in common? Voting for Wilgy. LC claims Wilgy is lying. LC spend a lot of time in the second Scotty lynch trying to convince others not to vote Scotty. Wilgy claims LC is lying. Sorsha's defended herself. I think. Everyone lies in mafia. I need to eat, and votes are changeable, and I wanna see what people say/do.
I'm gonna vote for Sorsha, because I'm good voting there and I don't want to spread the vote more, but honestly, I'm okay voting for any of these three, more on the Sorsha and LC side than Wilgy ATM, but by a very slim margin.
Zebra: Consistent. Incorrect on four occasions, but consistent.
Why are you convinced that it's encyclopedic fact that Eloh is civ? I've been asking people why they think she's town this whole game and I still haven't gotten a response that's more than "eh, she just seems town" and that kind of thing. And that's fine and all, but speaking in these absolutes is disconcerting. Saying that she isn't bad is whatever, that could just mean that you're confident about her being civ. But saying that I was incorrect on four occasions to vote for her...that's suspect.
Because of this, I won't vote for Sorsha today. While I appreciate your effort to analyze the votes, I think your motive for doing so may be anti-town. It seems like more of a defense of Eloh disguised as a call to vote for Sorsha. I realize a post can have more than one point, but it reads to me like you want this post to seem like it's mainly focusing on Sorsha when I feel like it's main purpose is to prevent an Eloh lynch.
Elohcin wrote:Those voting records are good enough for me. Sorsha it is.
Yup, Eloh/niju officially seems more likely to me than Eloh/Sorsha.
Okay, perhaps, but not as baddie teammates. And an Eloh lynch isnot overdue. I think you are just crazy misguided this game. Listen, how about you do this. Reread me and pretend you think I am civ while doing so. Then see what you think when you're done.

I think they have bts but is it baddie? I've been more suspicious of blooper than of Eloh but I think they are the same, regardless. I wish LC would give some thoughts about someone other than wilgy.

I see where you're coming from regarding not trusting people's absolutes, but you've got a case of tunnel vision. I don't see what makes her clearly bad to you. Her votes don't stand out as particularly bad, and the fact that she consistently voted Scotty in both major Scotty lynches makes her look pretty good compared to others, if you need something more concrete. I suppose it's a matter of reading her posts as civ, then, after that.

What do you think of wilgy zebra?
Where did these suspicions come from? I'm feeling better about my vote after this post.
It's just that, we both claim to have been Natasha-seduced on the same night. Tell me, is there any way that one of us isn't lying?? Do you think there's a power-duplication thing going on, and somehow we both really did get Natasha'd?
If one of us is lying, then one of us is 100% definitely a baddie.
I don't understand how every single person isn't voting for either me or Wilgy.

I'm not opposed to a LC lynching as well, let me get that across. I could also see a Sorsha LC team though. Here's the play by play:
Long Con wrote:I voted for Wilgy. I don't think Scotty is bad. Natasha tried to seduce me to vote him on Day 3, but I was Scrooched at the same time. I thought that maybe the baddies were trying to protect Scotty by making me vote for him, but then the Scotty lynch happened anyway. If Scotty is Fearless Leader, then Boris and Natasha probably don't really want him dead. The fact that you were scrooched and seduced at the same time is pretty convenient. I mean, why not as Natasha, use a roleblock/voteblock turn to claim "targeted by baddie, to target another player" to give cred to both you and Scotty?
Unless Scotty sent a message to them with instructions to try and get him lynched... for cred I guess? If you believe that, then lynch Scotty. I don't believe that. I don't believe that they can afford to lose numbers like that. Yeah, me neither, so why did it supposedly happen?
I thought that Epi might be going for the "early baddie teammate vouch" on Eloh, but then he was nightkilled. Again, it gives Elohcin some nice cred, but is it worth it with so few baddies? Probably not.
The PM from Natasha was written in a Russian accent. Like "Greetings, Lonk Con, ve vant you to doink ze vote for Scotty..." kind of stuff. It was creative, unnecessarily so. I thought maybe creative Epi would go that extra mile, but apparently not. I don't think anywhere it implies that Natasha had the ability to message with her seduction. If anything, I think you tried to make up what your own role did without knowing the real result of a seduction that your recipient would see.
I have no doubt that they will kill me very soon. Probably tonight. Natasha told me not to tell anyone, so I have disobeyed on that front.
Good job dying.
Bea, please chime in. We need to know if it was Narrator or Natasha. Based on SVS's obvious result I'm assuming Natasha.
Also please compare your experience with LC and tell me what you think.
This along with LC recent tunnel syndrome (who apparently didn't fully understand the reason why he was tunneling) I think needs a good lynching.

You are not going to win this "who is lying?" debate, friend. Especially when someone comes forward and tells us that Natasha forced their vote in the last lynch.
Wait one second

If the supposed reason for your tunneling is "because we were both Natasha'd on the same day" but you were previously looking for a counter-claim for the following day, means you previously recognized the fact that we were indeed not Natasha'd on the same phase.
