I have been assuming the prisoners are only a 1-day thing, so I'll miss you guys if that's the case. Thanks for all your help and have fun being put back in jail.
Super duper ditto.

Really, this is all just a glamorous game- nothing more.

Seriously.
I should have moreover underlined the whole sentence. What does being runner-up for a lynch have to do with lynch switches, unless a lynch switch is designed in such SPECIFIC manner?

Epignosis wrote:While I'm fine voting DDL, just be aware that Norton comes in, votes sig, and people scamper away from sig like they just found out he has TB (the disease, not Bubbles formerly known as TinyBubbles).
Go on and think about that for a minute.
I don't think sig lost more than one or two votes after that. Most of the "scampering" has been from people moving off of people other than sig, or from people placing their first votes of the day.
I'm not talking just votes. I'm talking suspicion in general. This marks three days of "sig's bad" to "nah, not going to vote sig today." If sig is bad, I'm going to tear this thread apart looking for the people who kept their kid gloves on and why.
Time permitting.
Or, you know, opinions can change as things continue to unfold in the thread... and others can start looking like better options.
Opinions changing is not the same thing.
Not necessarily the same thing, I mean.
Look at me, adding an adverb.
Look at us both, excellently, expertly and deftly adding adverbs.

I thought that each loan shark had a finite amount of votes to give away?

In my experience, most lynch switches switch from top vote getter to runner up vote getter. Isn't this how it usually works?
I thought that each loan shark had a finite amount of votes to give away?
Up to 3.
Yeah, I know that. I thought that each loan shark had a total of 3 votes throughout the entire game.

Oh. I also assumed each night, but I hadn't considered that. The fact we've already seen two lynches go against the top vote getter suggests availability.
Are you allowed to say how many votes you bought and used to save sig?
I've been busy with school today and research for my term paper . Going to martial arts right, but more or less caught up on the thread.
I'm fine with the DDL vote. Would rather not lynch Quin, and find it strange Ika isn't getting more attention. I mean Silver said she thinks he is mafia plus the case on him. It seems strange he has been ignored. I'll be placing my vote on DDL the case agaisnt him is good, I agree with those who did the ISO and case on him. The Bloomslang lynch would be okay, but I hate to lynch lurkers.

Without the prisoners the margin would only be one vote.
I'm not sure if that should make me really happy or nervous.
I guess it depends how neutral non-player prisoners such as 509 are. 509 has felt very town-aligned, which I'd expect would be his normal setting if he had no stake in the game.

Oh snap, is that Mac? Mac, my good friend! Why you tryin' to get me lynched?
Where in God's name did I attempt that?
Can you explain your lynch switch logic in any human language?
Nah. Just bein' careful in case something like that occurs. I don't think there's anything in the roles about lynch switches (barring the other secret role), but just in casse.

That's my read on it as well. I just hope it is accurate.

According to this:

HOST ANNOUNCEMENT
I see there have been questions in game regarding whether or not you can discuss the votes you borrowed or the terms of repayment. Here is the answer: going forward you cannot discuss the votes you borrowed, how you used them or what the terms of repayment on the loan were until those terms been completely fulfilled. If you have additional questions, PM your host for clarification.
I interpret this to say that I can, since the day in question has finished and I've repaid it. I only got the one, so from my recollection LC was lynched in a tie breaker, or else someone else had a hand in it.

Yeah, just in casse a lynch switch occurs...
...and just in casse if a lynch switch occurs, the runner-up gets arrested.

Couldn't you or him have explained this, like, 20 minutes ago? In all lynches so far, I have not been present.
SVS is the one who first mentioned making sure the person in second was a good lynch.
She also mentioned the 6 votes up for sale.
All in the same period you've been pushing your theory.
Anyone who knows me well knows I'm not the warden. There has been no value in me using my time and effort to try and get you to provide meaningful help, when all I get is claims I'm the warden.

SVS mentioning that isn't an inherent explanation of what could happen with the runner-up wagon.
Yes she did. Do they add up behind the screens, you mean? Still deserving of a thorough explanation in that case, I'm no mind guru.
Pushed what theory? Huh? Are you imagining things, the way Matt thought I was actually pushing for his lynch by confronting him?
Golden wrote:@740 - in half the lynches so far, the runner up has been lynched.
Why beat Matt up over it?
Because he just moved Boomslang OUT of second place.
Now THAT is a good reason. But not the same thing as what 740 is going on about.
The DDL in first place thing has been locked up since I broke out.
But you are telling me that in every lynch the second place vote getter has died, and here Matt walks in, and shifts Boomslang into third with a strategic vote, and all he really has to say about it is "I don't think he is bad", and there is less than an hour to go, and.... yeah, let's all just move on. Ah well, it's not my game.
