I haven't used A's in a long time. It's been HD's and D's ever since I started uni. Re: [NIGHT 5] Turf Wars: Battle of the Hosts
"Definitely" is a strong word in mafia. As for who I think, yeah, I suppose I could do Boomrique and a few others. I haven't judged things outside of the End of Day 2 affair. Doing so would invariably lead to ISOs in general being required. With just 24 hours at my disposal, I can't make any earthly promise of that.Quin wrote:Can you give me an ISO of all the players you most definitely think are scum?Prisoner 740359 wrote:Welp, looks like we might as well end this voting process in the next hour...

I can only imagine how daunting that must seem. If anyone is able to do so (or even just a couple), it would go a long way in my book as well.

I think the immediate aftermath of this lynch has me feeling less conviction in reading Serge as bad, since it was at least in part contingent on his treatment of DDL. Boomslang remains a suspect.

I don't know that the DDL lynch speaks much about sig either way. His late vote was rather inconsequential I suppose. One could say he was "saved", though the same can be said of ika. What do you think?Sloonei wrote:What has changed about sig?

Re: [NIGHT 5] Turf Wars: Battle of the Hosts
I had a brainstorm while scooping the litter box.
Reading DDL's role, I see this:
I had a point to that, but since I didn't come straight here to type (due to kitty litter hands) I can't remember what point I was trying to make. Anyway, there's at least half of a thought. Maybe the rest will come back to me.
Reading DDL's role, I see this:
So, that one night when no police arrests went through and junk, and we were convinced they had sussed out the Dons... perhaps that isn't true. Perhaps this power was in play? So maybe they don't know the Dons at all.[Rainbow List]: Once in the game, Sockface can send the host a rainbow list, ranking all the players from most civ to most bad. The 1/3 of the players leaning most bad will be roleblocked for the night, and the 1/3 leaning most civ will be protected from night kills.

I dislike how Golden is trying to connect who which prisoner is. Isn't that killable?
Prisoner 509 seems like a good option. However, I need to think about this for a bit before casting a vote.

You didn't ask me, but I wonder if the prisoner who gets parole might be related to the third way for a player a die. For your reference:Sloonei wrote:What's on your mind with regards to prisoners?sig wrote:I dislike how Golden is trying to connect who which prisoner is. Isn't that killable?

There are only three ways for players to actually die this game, as follows:
1) Be killed by Hitman
2) Be killed by Capo and Crew
3) ??????

Re: [NIGHT 5] Turf Wars: Battle of the Hosts
We also do not even know where the parolee will go. If they're a player who has already been in the game earlier, will they be returned to their formee role? If they're a new player, will they fill a vacated spot, or will they just be a lone entity floating off with no alignment?
I am not sure any of this has any bearing on who we vote for tonight.

I'm not quite sure, about any of them. I assume they knew they'd be paroled which is why they got so involved. At least one of them is a mafia member potentially more. I feel like this is something the civies want, but your worries here make sense. The Warden, it seems, was supposed to keep them contained. So them breaking out is possibly some sort of punishment for the Warden failing to do so. A punishment to cops is a reward for the civs. Unless we're voting RadicalFuzz back in the game, I think we're good.sig wrote:I'm not quite sure, about any of them. Greetings players and my soon-to-be-incarcerated colleagues. To the players, I can offer you this- I am not the best choice for the pardon but I certainly would appreciate it. If pardoned, I promise to keep analyzing this game in depth. It's difficult to cover so much ground in one day, so I will double my efforts to root out the evil forces of the police. After all, who better to help root out evil than a reformed evil genius? I also plan to keep "trolling" Scotty and tell Golden to zip it, for whatever that's worth.
If you should choose to send me back to prison, know this: I can't blame you. I had a busy day and couldn't contribute as much as others. If you want my honest opinion, I would recommend either 509378 or 920077. They were a little more important than I was in getting us to this point. I think either one would be an "asset" to the civvie cause.
To my fellow prisoners, remember Operation IVY. Do not let it fail. Letting Operation IVY fail will make me angry. And when Dr. Evil gets angry, Mr. Bigglesworth gets upset. And when Mr. Bigglesworth gets upset, people DIE!

It did definitely seem like a good thing for civs to me too. I can only imagine that it was, and hope it will continue to be in the future.

Chaindeath is on page 121 at the moment. Hes going to read the EoD and see what the parole thing is. He wont be able to be on Sat or Sun because he will be at drill. He hopes to catch up on Monday but it will depend on how hard school decides to slam him on Monday.

That's a good question too.indiglo wrote:@Hosts - I was also wondering, will the paroled player be able to win? Will we be aware of their win conditions?
It did definitely seem like a good thing for civs to me too. I can only imagine that it was, and hope it will continue to be in the future.

We completed three challenges in a row, including an epic group decode! We were a good group, tbh.Quin wrote:I thought one of the prisoners said they broke out because they completed those quote challenges.

Count me in, Boss!Epignosis wrote:I'm sorry.Prisoner 813142 wrote:Greetings players and my soon-to-be-incarcerated colleagues.
I need to gather all those who can analyze timestamps and direct them into an ultimate weapon.
I call it...

Well, I WAS faced with over 4,000 posts. It made more sense to try to focus on the Fuzz lynch, and there you were. You have to admit, knowing nothing else, your string of posts there are at least worth an outsider's perusal, no? It's irrelevant now, unless I manage to get pardoned, but step back, see what I saw, you must see why I pushed it??Epignosis wrote:And you bullied me.Prisoner 920077 wrote:Hmm. Well, I'm not going to make a big pitch, but I'll just say that I tried to help out as best I could in the time given, and most notably, I did NOT vote for DDL, but rather tried to point out connections to the Fuzz lynch, which seemed more relevant. Glad to have been here, either way.
Still...I may have plans for you, Chronos.

As for Prisoner 509, who I see is most likely getting pardoned, I have nothing bad to say. He definitely worked hard post-prison break, and does seem to be angling for a civvie win, and whoever it is certainly seems to be around enough to keep up with the game. I didn't really take extensive notes or anything in the klink so I can't point to any deficiencies, there.

Should there ever be the opportunity for parole in the future, you have my support 920.Prisoner 920077 wrote:As for Prisoner 509, who I see is most likely getting pardoned, I have nothing bad to say.
