It is honestly pretty brilliant given the fact that it was marketed as a teen drama vampire show. Season 1 was by far the worst of it. And this is from someone who was already on the Joss train via firefly and dollhouse and several other things. Other's kept saying "but buffy!" and I was all "no - NO VAMPIRES! I'M NOT 13 ANYMORE!" I had great fun mocking during Season 1. Then I STFU real quick.

Wait till you get to the silent episode! It's one of my favorites!!!

Father issues, yes. I can lament all too well. Train them well while they are young or they'll turn out like my Scotty- all moody, insolent, and soft. A 1/8th your size clone is no picnic either, if I may be frank. Lots of training to do there too.

If we can live long enough to make it back to the "game thread" then we may learn more about the deceased inmates. Until then, I assume they were NK'd. Some of them could very well have been "modkilled" like 888206. I'll take another look through my notes and add some thoughts in a bit.
