Re: Spirited Away Mafia [NIGHT 4]
I don't blame you, or anyone else, for finding me suspicious for yesterday's vote. What happened yesterday is a perfect example of why I hate doing last minute vote changes and why I refused to do it the day before when LC wanted me to switch to Quin... This is what usually happens.Elohcin wrote:If I have to rank the Soneji voters, it would be Niju, Sorsha, Wilgy, SVS, then sig.Long Con wrote:I was just thinking that I would expect a baddie to have avoided the lynch train on civ Soneji, and then I come in and see this post from you, Eloh. Who do you think are the baddies involved in the Soneji lynch, if any?Elohcin wrote:It was 2/3 when I voted, and I'm sorry, I didn't think Soneji was bad. I am not going to vote for someone I don;t think is bad.
Niju is not on the poll today... That was an odd choice for Oshira-sama. I'm guessing some target switch was involved with it?

I have to agree with Sorsha; removing Niju would appear to be somehow shenanigan related, but a quick double check of the roles does not see this as a baddie related power.

There are a couple of secrets, but they're also civ (and indy I guess). There's no self-targeting, so she can't have been Oshira-sama or whoever did it. Which means whoever did it probably doesn't even know Ninja's role.S~V~S wrote:I have to agree with Sorsha; removing Niju would appear to be somehow shenanigan related, but a quick double check of the roles does not see this as a baddie related power.

You all may speculate on what Bath Tokens do, but you may not state whether you have one or not. This does count as info-dumping.

Someone out here loves me And the baddies thought today's vote would be easy Joke's on you!
I have a shitty voting record, and my posting count sucks this game, more so than usual. But I'm not the only one to whom these criticisms these can be attributed, and that's all the "evidence" I'm seeing from those who suspect me. Anyway, I waste my breath (errr, keystrokes?), as I'm not a candidate today, so that's a conversation for another Day (hey, I rhymed!).
My last suspicions still stand. I also want to read back more thoroughly in general so I can possibly be more eloquent/informed for the next vote, more so than I have been, and actually contribute. I may do so tonight, but not before taking advantage of this lovely bathhouse after finally getting back up to running 3 miles, woo! 4-miler next Saturday, here I come!
Or perhaps they do, and have good reason to protect meDFaraday wrote:There are a couple of secrets, but they're also civ (and indy I guess). Analysis can provide
A new perspective
DAY 1Day 1 tells us that SVS, Wilgy, G-Man and Bubbles are unlikely to be bad, unless they were bussing a teammate. Sorsha's vote stands out as coming at a pivotal time but not going for either major candidate (and for being on me ). LC's vote doesn't give any indication of his alignment. Dom missed, so it's hard to glean anything from that. Ninja voted for Matt in the middle of the pack, so it could be a save attempt.Spoiler: show
DAY 2Spoiler: show
Ninja, Dom, G-Man, and Eloh voted on the Matt train, but Ninja and G-Man's votes came so late as to feel like a better place to hide. Bubbles, Wilgy, and SVS all voted in different places, so it's hard to make anything out of them just from the voting pattern. SVS was pretty consistent in suspecting Wilgy though. Sprit missed, so that's a null read.
DAY 3Spoiler: show
G-Man again with the late vote, after the lynch was a runaway. Eloh going back to her Wilgy suspicion is a good look for her, and likewise for Wilgy voting Eloh. I don't agree with either one's suspicion, but consistent reads typically make me feel better about people. And Sorsha, like before, votes late and irrelevantly.
DAY 4Day 4 Sorsha casts the deciding vote on Soneji, who turns out to be civ. This seems worse to me since she left her G-Man suspicion to vote Soneji. LC, Eloh, and G-Man look better just by virtue of not voting a civ. Sprit missing again continues to give no read.Spoiler: show
Just going off the votes, I'd say the last three baddies are among Sorsha, Ninja, G-Man, LC, and Sprit, in that order of suspicion.

Re: Spirited Away Mafia [DAY 5]
I could get behind a DF lynch today. His defense of G-Man has got me thinking of a couple of scenarios. One: based on DF defending him and attacking me, that maybe I am wrong about G-Man. Its possible that DF knows G-Man is good because DF himself is bad. By attacking me he's trying to gain G-Man's favor, (or anyone's really who thinks that G-Man is good.) Or perhaps they are teammates and DF feels comfortable enough defending him since no one else is really agreeing with my G-Man suspicion.
I still find G-Man's actions this game suspicious and the fact that G-Man really hasn't even addressed them also bothers me. And I'm irritated that he is silenced today because it's just a lame free pass. Am I missing something on why no one else finds anything G-Man has done as suspicious?
Anyway- for now I'm going with a DF vote.

Hold the quick LC, just dirty... Keep it dirty...
So I like DFaraday's analysis for the most part... Here's an angle that includes the analyzer.
Day 1: DF voted rogue when there was a baddie included tie
Day 2: DF voted rogue again, maybe wanted to avoid a civ lynch that he didn't need to be part of? but that would imply Elo is civ...
Day 3: Quin had the lead when DF voted and didn't shit the way the wagon was going. Quin was one in the lead when DF voted...
Day 4: Off the boat again
@Zeebs, why are you asking SVS in specific?

So if a later vote means a place to hide for a baddie, wouldn't that match your day 3? Quin was already going down so throw a vote that way? also would finding a place to hide reflect you voting off boat 3/4 days?snip from day 2 purple text wrote:Ninja, Dom, G-Man, and Eloh voted on the Matt train, but Ninja and G-Man's votes came so late as to feel like a better place to hide.

I specifically did NOT suspect Wilgy. Faraday, way to misinterpret the data.
And I think LC is bad, and have done so for the whole game. But I can't much find a hook for it except my tone read and gut. And the way LC reacts towards me whenever I suspect him makes me want ot back off of him, and I don;t know why. He tends to be sharper with me than he is with others, and it works.
But I believe we have met Zebra. I tend to have a fairly narrow focus. I see what *one* person has done to make me suspect them, I don't troll for suspicions.
