Yes, unless their win condition expressly says otherwise. This is about the survival of the human race. Death is death!Long Con wrote:Host: Do players need to be alive to claim their Win Condition?
However - I guess this is as good a time to say it as any - there will also be two specific gameplay-based awards opened to public vote at end game, and those awards will also lead to win credit dead or alive.
I do not have any milk. Cylon cows haven't been invented yet. Also missing is beef. Those frakking cylons, destroying our cow supply in the attack on the colonies.

You seem to invoke that this Day will end early, compared to the previous ones, as if it's a given. Anyway, I don't see what's there to fret about. If Day ends early, won't LoRab get lynched if she has the most votes?ObscureAllure wrote:I think what's going to happen is one of them is going to vote for one of us moments before the PM is sent ending the day early. That way the person who got voted for can't do the cylon thing (whether or not they are cylon) and LoRab is saved. If it happens and it's me, just promise me y'all will go after LC next.

Please look into the four dude(ttes) I mentioned. Their voting record is shady and I have absolutely no time to investigate their post history. Even though I'm fine with lynching LoRab, we must not let those people go undetected.

Re: Battlestar Galactica Mafia - Day Four
Thank you for having an open mind. I really really really don't have any clue what ANY of this behind the scenes stuff is. I know that several people here have the attitude that Long Con is usually plotting something behind the scenes due to some of my past escapades, but I absolutely have no idea about any of this.Silverwolf wrote:I'm starting to wonder about this. The other person I expected to go after you for this, didn't. So now I don't know what is going on with that. Yes, I'm being intentionally vague but it had a lot to do with my suspicion of you so now.Long Con wrote:You can't imagine how frustrating it is to be accused of knowing what's going on with you and your Mystery Crew, but I have nothing to do with it. WHY do you all think that? Some sort of clue? Uh, it couldn't be someone intentionally misleading you maybe??? I don't know, I'm friggin blind here.![]()
I guess I'll look at who agree'd with me that didn't know what I knew also.
SVS and JJJ come to mind right now but that's only if I accept the fact you are town and there is no way in hell I'm listening to anyone who calls anyone confirmed town in this game.
There is some point of information somehow that leads you to believe it's me that has done *something* to you. Please, just analyze what that information is and just consider how that might have been designed to intentionally lead you to me. I don't know what it is, or what you have learned that you think you know, but I am not involved in any way with whatever the hell happened with you guys last night. I swear to frakking high holy heaven that I have no clue what happened with you, I need you to just believe that, or at least consider the possibility.
Given that you're being very communicative and reasonable right now, and not shoving "obvious scum behaviour" in my face, I want to try starting over, to a degree, with you Silver. I want to repost something from the start, and I ask that we just start over, and you respond to me straight, respond to the content of my posts instead of responding with... all that accusatory stuff.
On my end, I will adjust my replies to be more conducive to conversation.
Please be patient while I pull the post up and give better responses.

Re: Battlestar Galactica Mafia - Day Four
I said it after you might have missed me say it - I had forgotten that LoRab already did a cylon claimed. I was thinking they would vote for one other person (a civvie), have her cylon claim today (to not be lynched), and end the day early right after to get the civvie lynched. However since she claimed yesterday she has no amnesty today so my idea is not possible. (And that was using the idea already mentioned in the thread that they have an end day early power, although I don't remember by whom and I am too lazy to look it up.)Ricochet wrote:You seem to invoke that this Day will end early, compared to the previous ones, as if it's a given. LC - Honestly, anything in the game is open to having been tampered with. If there's one thing I think we can all agree on, it's that.

You didn't town read him, you said he's a confirmed townie. This is pretty much the kiss of death in a game like this, because if someone is a confirmed townie, it makes them nightkill bait. If they are confirmed, they they can't be suspicious and detract attention away from the mafia. I can't believe I'm defending him, but what he's saying is true. By taking the stance of having an info role and claiming he's a confirmed townie, you're pretty much dooming him (if he's actually a townie and not mafia, that is. Which he's not, so he's nightkill safe.a2thezebra wrote:Long Con, I feel that I've gotten a decent grasp of your mafia mojo and I feel that what you're displaying here doesn't resemble anything close to that.

But if we're going to do a counterwagon, pooling votes together is important because we need enough to threaten the player to claim Cylon (assuming they are Cylon). But Lorab also needs enough to stay ahead of other players.

If the majority is decided to deal with LoRab today, I don't think counterwagons should expand beyond a few votes and definitely agree LoRab should stay within safe distance. Baddies should be numerous enough to try to infiltrate, otherwise. Right now the distance is safe enough, for me to not correct it with my vote.Metalmarsh89 wrote:We want to lynch Lorab right?Ricochet wrote:Wait for what?Metalmarsh89 wrote:Why you wait until after we started the DF counterwagon?Ricochet wrote:My choices for a counterwagon right now: bea, Long Con.

You see I'm a student of the School of Ika, and therefore I believe that it's grasping at straws to make a distinction between a moderately passionate read of mine and a confirmed player. The suggestion that I'm endangering Long Con by saying that he is confirmed town is ludicrous because I've made sure to establish myself as an unreliable source of both information and genuine opinions. I am hiding the truth in my haystack of lies so only the right people can find and use it.

I have town reads on both of them, but Silverwolf especially.Ricochet wrote:I went to bad asking what others think of DrumBeats. What do others think of DrumBeats?
Any particular thoughts on Silverwolf, too, or are we all content with her game right now?

Sorry it was. Here:Long Con wrote:So that's not directed at me then? Or...? Maybe just do the post over again, quoting the right thing.ObscureAllure wrote:Sorry I didn't mean to quote that, I meant to quote Golden's answer.
There's your answer. Now I'm asking you kindly to drop it because I'm not going to change my mind, unless the outcome of me saying it is lesser than the punishment, I'm not saying it. No more reason to back and forth about it. It's there.Golden wrote:Yes, unless their win condition expressly says otherwise. This is about the survival of the human race. However - I guess this is as good a time to say it as any - there will also be two specific gameplay-based awards opened to public vote at end game, and those awards will also lead to win credit dead or alive.
Ditto. Ass jokes and new developments aside. We have yet to figure out a plan for today. How many people in this game are doing this - just messing around? I really feel like I don't have the gravitas right now to even call these people out on it, especially since I'm somehow involved in all the jokes. Metalmarsh and Zebra are the two main players that are messing around. Please, someone like JJJ or Scotty or frakking Epignosis, can you please call these people out and hold them accountable?? S~V~S maybe? Ricochet? Is anyone out there still just sane?Metalmarsh89 wrote:I sense some directed angst in ObscureAllure's posts. This is a new development.
Zeebs - Uhhh... Oh... kay? That's not confusing at all. lol.

I proposed a plan yesterday, and you've refused to follow it OA. You've also already voted despite warnings against it from myself and sig.
Did you have a plan in mind?

Re: Battlestar Galactica Mafia - Day Four
So I just looked and DF hasn't posted in this game in three days (the 15th) but has posted in another game multiple times since then. That game so far only has about 10 pages day 1. We had like 40 I think. I am not so sure DF's silence is role based as much as it's a lack of interest maybe because of all of the catching up this game requires. (Although this is purely a guess and should be taken as such.)
MM - I stated yesterday (last night) that I was going to vote for LoRab when the day started because she's a confirmed cylon and lost her amnesty. I'm honestly shocked that everyone who was saying the same before hasn't done so. Even some of the same people who voted for her yesterday haven't today. And I kind of feel like DF is a bandwagon set up waiting to happen. Which is why I'm asking for a plan.

What about today? Should people keep voting for LoRab? DF? Start a sig wagon?

For this phase, we'll lynch LoRab. There's no other option for the lynch itself, but that doesn't mean that this phase has to be unproductive.

What do you think about the people who are voting for someone other than LoRab this lynch?

They have their reasons and I won't suspect anyone for not voting LoRab alone. I myself have expressed doubt about my previous conviction regarding LoRab's alignment, but her lynch is inevitable and G2H I still think she is mafia so it's going to be done.
