Re: Battlestar Galactica Mafia - Night Five
Again, I want to take issue with this point of view. As I've said on numerous occasions, I do not subscribe to the theory that all of our Cylon friends are anti-Town, in fact I hold the opposite view. I don't fully understand the 'Final 5' scenario but from what I've read, I'm thinking that they become Mafia at some point? You talk about likely Mafia numbers and as I understand from what I've read, we've got about 8 unidentied Cylons? If they are all Mafia and the final 5 are also Mafia, that leaves a Mafia team of approximately 13? In my view that is unbalanced and defies logic. If the Final 5 are Mafia and they've not yet been 'activated' it would seem more logical that the Mafia team is currently consists of two or three members and on that basis, very few of our remaining Cylon friends are Mafia. I'd be very happy for anyone to challenge or correct my assumptions on this matter.Dex wrote:Still playing the same card you did with LoRab. There's only one possible civ-friendly role left, what are the odds that it's Wilgy, best to just kill him.Ricochet wrote:I'd interject that the concept of Wilgy claim Caprica Six would arise "for no reason" or "all of a sudden", because there are not many original Cylon numbers we could infer to be non-baddie aligned. Maybe Leoben for being linked with Starbuck after a while? That's about it, though. So, with LoRab flipping Anna, who else to take into consideration but a Cylon such as Caprica Six?

If we say we don't need all cylons dead to win and our win cons change to need them all dead, I'm assuming he wasn't 100% a civ. I'd say LC was an independent. However, whether if he was or not zebra using LCs flip to try and make herself seem good is pingy to me.JaggedJimmyJay wrote:Was he not? You have three minutes.
I'd say my top three are Wilgy, Zebra, and Polo.
Wilgy for being an outted cylon with uncivvie behavior.
Zebra for her lack of content, proclamations with no evidence what so ever, and lack of game solving.
Polo for his mafiaish behavior, such as wanting to lynch non claimers and him repeatedly asking what players think of a few player. I think that is mafia attempting to start a wagon without directly doing it testing the water so to speak. Plus his actions revolving Wilgy.

Re: Battlestar Galactica Mafia - Night Five
How about no.JaggedJimmyJay wrote:Let's please stop talking about lynching sig and actually lynch sig.

Re: Battlestar Galactica Mafia - Night Five
I agree with most of this post. Mathematically speaking, it is doubtful that Wigly is a protown cylon. We likely only have one more, if even that, so how many people are instantly assuming he is that one is frightening. The difference between this and the Epig lynch, is Epig was confirmed to be a protown cylon afterwards, Wigly was not. Wigly could be Six, or even Cavil. We don't know, but we know there is a mathematic likelihood of Wigly flipping scum.ObscureAllure wrote:Or he could be a bad cylon lying? Let's do the math. How many bad cylons (not Capricia Six) are left compared to the one Capricia Six? The odds are much higher that he's not Six. And that's even if we assume Six isn't bad. We don't know that. Literally every cylon who gets caught being a cylon is going to claim being six. They can't all be six. It's impossible. He's NOT six.Ricochet wrote:I'd interject that the concept of Wilgy claim Caprica Six would arise "for no reason" or "all of a sudden", because there are not many original Cylon numbers we could infer to be non-baddie aligned. The Bold and Underlined part however, makes me wonder how Obscure is this certain Wigly is not Six. I could see OA flipping Six based on this honestly.

Re: Battlestar Galactica Mafia - Night Five
Alignment isn't revealed, but character is. If Six is the assumed protown cylon, the mafia cylons would know that you were not one of them if that is you. Then they could get "townie cred" by defending the good cylon, because they are certain that is what you are. Should Wilgy flip Six, I highly suspect all of his defenders.DrWilgy wrote: So assuming that I am civillian, but a cylon, what would mafia gain from defending me since alignment isn't revealed? I honestly can only see 1 or 2 players having reaction to my death other than mafia kinda saying "woohoo" there goes another one.
Hey Zeebs, can I get a cheatsheet on your opinions currently?

It seems to me that you were wallflowering to meMy reasoning is my reasoning, and I am sorry it displeases you, but it works for me.
And even having read every post you made up until you started taking votes just this weekend, I don't recall a single opinion you have held.
I have also said that I am going to take Dex' word for whatever he saw, but I am also not going to apologize for or backpedal from how I felt before the lynch. So can you please dial back the aggression a tad?
A Wilgy cheatsheet:
Strongest opinions, Sig, BR, and Sokoth placed a vote on me after I stated that I was a toaster. This makes little to no civ sense considering their vote would be negated. Why use your strongest power as a civ, your vote, in a position where it wouldn't count.
Strong opinion, Sig's reaction to me taking his side against Epi vs me voting for him on behalf of Scotty was not what I expect out of a civillian Sig.
Medium opinion, OA and Silver are not on the same team. I believe they have been working together now for 3 cycles rather strongly. I don't think Mafia would allow for both of them to still be alive if they were on the same team.
Weak opinion, those defending me are likely civilian. Mafia have nothing to gain out of defending me since i'll flip cylon anyways + at the rate we are going a lynch on cylon Wilgy will probably be easy.
Things I'm looking for: BR and Silver's feedback regarding the events of last night and the content I created. Also, any opinions regarding my thoughts on Sig.
Linki - Not that I would no sadly. If he's soul reading me as civilian I appreciate it, that and the above opinions are all I got.
I don't like how Black Rock and Sokoth came in here and placed a vote on you and peaced out with not much else to say after you already claimed. I would like for both of them to explain why they voted you after you claimed. It makes little sense and the better move would be to vote for someone else they suspected.
Actually if you go back and read the post where I did vote for him I gave my reason. I thought it was pretty sound.
Essentially either he didn't read anything I posted previously and the back and forth between me, Polo, Matt, and Long Con I believe it was regarding voting. he turned around and started the same exact thing I did. Why would you do the same thing after all that? It felt suspicious to me, so I rocked the vote in his name.

THE MALAISE
Morale was at an all time low. Although many in the fleet found themselves pleased to be back under the command of Admiral Adama, that was all that was going right.
It had been many months since the attack on the colonies, and everyone had expected Earth to be found by now. Instead life was a distinct pattern of lack of sleep, lack of good food, constant colon attacks, a lack of discovering any decent ass-clues, and people were getting frakking antsy.
To top it all off, one morning when everyone woke up, they noticed that Spacedaisy was missing. She had vanished without a trace. No doubt some cylon had probably thrown her out an airlock while no-one was looking. This place was crawling with them.
Spacedaisy has died. You have 48 hours to figure out the party responsible.

Hey team!
Someone or maybe multiple people seemed to misinterpret my last address as being pro-Cain? Didn't you folks hear all those coughs? Cain was a big meany and I'm glad to have my chair back. I have an admiral's chair right? I'd like one if not.
Nice job everyone for taking back control over your own liberty. There's still work to be done though, and since I'm in charge I'd like to make some suggestions.
I think sig is super suspicious! I think we've also distracted ourselves thoroughly in this whole matter of "everyone claim to be a cylon!". It has dominated our communication for too long. Let's get some suspects eh? Let's go already. Hurry up. Figure it out. If you think that's a valid and strong reason for suspicion then fine, build your case and air it publicly. But there needs to be more. There's more to the universe than that. It's really big.
Also, if anyone thinks I could be doing more good with these addresses then go ahead and say so! I welcome your constructive criticism. Don't waste too much time on it, maybe just one submission eh? Remember to respect customs and courtesies though, because I'm the big cheese.

Aww the captain is mad at me what ever will I do. What will he do ground me. :P
So Wilgy, Polo, or Zebra are my three picks for today.

The answer: all of them, if you are a marmot.

The names I keep seeing recently as lynch targets for today are myself, sig, Polo, and Wilgy. Out of those options I really like sig, I wouldn't fight a Polo lynch, I would fight a Wilgy lynch, and I would of course fight my own lynch. Your call, town.

So I think Daisy was killed since she wanted to lynch Wilgy, I believe the mafia team is attempting to redirect the lynch onto another player (right now it is me) away from Wilgy and it was clear Daisy wasn't going to budge and wanted Wilgy gone.
linki: I like me to Zebra glad we agree.
Why not Wilgy.
Also Zebra voting so early ffor anyone other then the outted cylon who isn't acting civvie at all is proof enough I'm the counterwagon to an evil cylon.
Also anyone else having problems posting?
