Hey MetalMarsh! Looks like we've finally managed to get a big shiny NK. As far as candidates, I'm thinking sig. I'm still not convinced he isn't Yang, and I'd rather be safe than sorry.

I think our biggest problem will be backlash against MM after Scotty flips civ/indie.

Well, I'm used to such things. I can't recall a game in recent memory where I wasn't a prime lynch candidate at some point.

FYI we took the kill target of sig as it was discussed here despite it not being completely finalized. In the future, feel free to make your kill selection here or via PM, so long as we know what the final answer is.

Is there a role that mentions anything about vote manipulation? We could possibly play that off as one of us casting a vote for me, worst case scenario.

Secrets will only be revealed if a player is killed.mthere is no role or item that learns the secrets within a role description.

I think it's a good idea to pool our item pools so that we can have a variety of options whenever we're between a rock and a hard place.

Actually my item is pretty useful. As long as one of us is wearing it when Carlton checks us, then the reading comes back null.

Depending on what happens going forward, I would be willing to give it to MM. He's the only one who has come under any slight fire, so it could come in handy for him. Unless either of you think he's already been checked.

I just got a PM from MP saying that I have my Priceless Coin again. So now we have that in our back pockets for when things get dire.

So now that that will happen, who do you all think we should kill? I'm kind of leaning towards sig personally. If he's civ, we remove the other main character from the show who can stop Yin/Yang from killing. And if he's one of Yin/Yang, we eliminate half of the rival faction.

Any other ideas for good targets?

Actually, the more I think about it, killing sig could get INH a ton of heat. So maybe that is not the best option.

And I can't think of any other good options right now. Epig maybe?

I actually didn't use the coin on Russ. I guess we just got lucky for once.

We already tried to NK sig once before and came up with nothing. In fact, that's why I'm so gung-ho about trying to push his lynch. There's a very good chance of him being Shawn, so holding off on him seems smart.

Looking at high posters/skilled players who haven't really drawed much heat or are connected to us, I can see a few peeps.

Epi, BDH, Quin, Sokoth, Elo, and Lorab all come to mind for me as candidates.

Well apparently it doesn't matter now since I didn't get to use it. And that night ended in a very bad way for us.

At this point I'm just hoping to spread confusion as to our true roles for both of us. Maybe lead them off our trail. I do think you trying to push for a sig lynch is a good idea. But you definitely want to be careful about HOW you push it. If it works and enough blood is on your hands, you may become the next victim.

Also ignore the first part of that last post. I thought Night 4 had ended for some reason. So our kill is still good.

I'd go with Epi out of those two, because Russ 2.0 still has some heat at this point.

At the same time, Epi just posted that he's sure you aren't a Crooked Cop, so he could be someone worth keeping around, if only to protect you.

Elo and BDH are two others who keep popping up in my head. What are your thoughts on them?

I did. I forgot to copy both of you in it though.

I went with Epig, but I'm guessing he has an item that protects him against nightkills in some way.

I will do what I can to try and steer a lynch away from you, INH. But if worst comes to worst I may have to vote for you to help maintain my civ cred.

I'm going to re-read both you and Solokthsodhfsodfij today. Hopefully he's got something in particular I can latch onto and steer a lynch away from you without compromising myself.

What about this strategy:

I'll come up with a weak case against BWT, and begin voting for him in the Day polls. Hopefully, I have enough shade so that no one will actually take me seriously. This will both ensure we always have an NK (although we've yet to actually have one go through) and put some distance inbetween us.

I don't have much time now, but I'm going to go ahead and send in a PM. I'll actually copy you on it this time. :P I think I might target Lorab for the kill tonight, and maybe try to throw some shade on Epig. If you come up with a better idea, feel free to change it via a PM to the hosts.

Also, Carlton tried to hook me up to the polygraph and his reading came back null because of my necklace. So I've lost my necklace but my alignment is still protected for now.

I like where this is going so far. I think we may be able to avoid getting you lynched Day 6.

If we get another lynch through, and manage to succeed with another kill (I'm thinking of trying for sig on Night 6 if you vote me again), and can repeat the same for Day/Night 7, then I really start to like our chances.

Pretty much. I'm hoping me telling BDH he got his result because of an item I held makes him back off on me and vote elsewhere. Because right now, I'm actually pretty hacked that he info-hinted the way he did.

I'm thinking we try for sig again. He's obviously either Shawn or Yang, and either would be good for us to eliminate at this point. Yes, I'll take some heat if he flips civ, but the reward's too great.

Hopefully, any protection would be directed at BDH/Lassie who I feel we can control.

I am fine with trying for sig. I just got home from my shift for today and am running on 2 hours of sleep. I will go ahead and send in a PM real quick for targeting Sig.

I'm big on untraceable kills whenever it is prudent, and I think DFaraday and sig fall under this category. Plus if he dies and ends up being Yang, this gives us a huge advantage if we can get someone other than one of the two of us lynched next.

Plus I think after the infodump thing, I'm basically a confirmed civ at this point. So if I can stay clean enough, we may have a chance after the following day cycle.

Man this is great to watch. The ranks are just thrown into chaos right now. I'm really hoping we can take down Russ and Epig over the next 2 lynches and get 2 more kills in. If we get rid of Yin/Yang in there too then I'll start to feel really good.

Even though it directly contradicts everything I say in the thread, I think Russ has to go today in order to secure us a good position in the future. Him flipping civ would be the nail in Epi's coffin, and would make me seem much more civ.
