I'd rather lynch someone I have little to no impression of (DFaraday) than the only other person who's calling Epi out on his shit.

And "ha ha" to Epi's latest round of smug condescension and his pissing contest with me and Russ.

Where the hell is Epi in all this? Did he decide to just go to the Winchester, have a pint, and wait for all this to blow over?

Or does he not care about the outcome because he knows DF being lynched will help him?

For what it's worth, I think there's a damn good chance that DF's civ. I'm not as sure of his alignment as I am of Russ' but I still really resent this situation for making us choose between these two.

That's why Epi's absence really grinds my gears. It's like he knows DF's going to flip civ, so he's biding his time so he can sail in Night 7 on a horse of "I told you so" style moral superiority, and an "if DF is civ, Russ must be bad" case.

He doesn't need to waste time attacking Russ because it's better for his game if DF's lynched this round. That way he can just waltz into another easy civ lynch Day 8.

Lynch this windbag. He puts the onus of persuasion on me, not himself, about Russ' alignment. What's the basis for that? They are teammates. Then he dials back about DF being a civilian. After that, he gets pissed at me (the guy he's accusing of lynching too many civilians) for not being around.

I'm all but convinced that epi is yang. He's been a mouthpiece all game because he knows no matter how many cases false were otherwise he builds he can't be Lynch. And given the in ineptitude this of the crookes cops, he didn't have a fear of being night killed. Also, if young and yang are responsible for doing their own riddles, it would go a long way to explain why Sean was able to solve so few of them. "Look, these Yin & Yang yahoos are going to be the death of us if we don't act," Jack banged his fist on the counter.

He and Jerry had met up at the gun range. They were getting concerned that they might be caught. Or worse yet, that the serial killing duo might take them out.

"We have to be careful how we do this. I mean we have to be smarter than the current young bucks at the SBPD if we're going to figure out who it is. Plus we have to be careful not to give ourselves away in the process," Jerry remarked thoughtfully.

Jack grinned a bit, "I think I've got it figured out already. I say we strike tonight."

A short while later, a woman was in her kitchen cooking a nice roast for herself. She pulled it out of the oven and took a deep sniff, savoring the scent. She set it on the counter and sliced some up, putting it on a plate next to a pile of delicious mashed potatoes. She set it on the table and poured herself a nice glass of wine. Settling down at the table she spread a white linen napkin over her lap and then scooted her chair up to the table. Just as she stuck her fork in a piece of the meat, she felt the cold barrel of a gun pressed into the back of her head.

"What took you so long?" Those were her last words before someone put a bullet in her brain.

Firstly, you've been hardcore going after Russ for what seems like years, and I just said that you were unlikely to convince me with one of your trademark Epignosis Cases about his alignment. This was me saying that I didn't buy your case. But of course, Epig being the desperate baddie that he is, he had to twist my words around.

When did I ever call DF a baddie? All I ever said was that I had a better read on Russ than DF, not that I specifically saw DF as scum. Day 7 trapped everyone between a rock and a hard place, and I saw the whole thing being Civ Versus Civ as a possibility since the start. Although I wasn't sold on it until I read more of DF's posts.

After posting non-stop forever, you dial back big time in a way that mystifies even your SO!

Soooo, I'm the one you can trust most, but then Epi says "You should vote Russ." and you vote Russ? Are you that easily swayed? Color me perplexed, at best, and a little frustrated.

Keep in mind, this is the same Epi who's been wrong 4 times in a row, and who has been so convinced I'm bad he's come up with 3 different baddie teammates for me, 2 of whom are now dead civs.

I got some small validation with that timmer death, so I'm now 1/2 on calling baddies. I think you can do the math here.

BDH, to answer your question, Elo is definitely bad in my book right now. She voted me yesterday, reread us, and decided to vote DF. Then she voted me again today as soon as Epi said jump. Which, honestly, is the same you did, but circumstances being what they are, I don't really buy that you're bad regardless. I figure her for a probable Cop.

I think BWT is likely bad as well. Between Epi and INH I'm really torn on the final baddie; my vote for Epi yesterday was admittedly reactive and somewhat emotionally-driven, and INH has been agreeing with me a lot, which is making him harder for me to judge. So I am actually open to changing my vote, no matter what Epi says. (Preferably to Elo or BWT, but to INH if I feel there's a compelling-enough case against him.)

And speaking of pretending to be willing to change your vote, this strikes me as funny in hindsight:

That tells me that no civilian (except me ) thinks birdwithteeth11 is bad and should be lynched today. If either of you genuinely thought birdwithteeth11 was bad, you would be voting him, not me, because he already has my vote.

I believe BDH is a civilian. I got the impression that Elohcin is independent.

I predict birdwithteeth11 votes for Russ, and that INH and Russ both jump off me and vote birdwithteeth11 to force the tie. That's what you two are setting everybody up for. There is only one team with two living members, and that's The Crooked Cops.

What I do know is that if I am correct that BDH is a civilian, then from BDH's perspective, the accusations INH and Russ are making have to be mutually exclusive bullshit unless you buy either one of them is the independent. And you shouldn't buy that either one of them is the independent. They're in here being movers and shakers.

I guess my judgment's a little off because The Office Mafia just finished. In The Office Mafia, for those folks who're playing at home, I was a civilian that Epi, a member of the mafia, continually hounded and hounded, while I tried to get him lynched to no avail. I got so damn frustrated and fed up with the entire state of things that I considered doing something similar to what MP just did in Rot3K.
