Re: MAD MAX: Day 6
To weigh in on the Sloonei opposers - I think town Sloonei asks questions, scum Sloonei asks questions in defence. With that quote about Wilgy looking bad if INH was town, I'm not reading that as bad because I thought the exact same thing but didn't write it in the thread. It was very possible that Wilgy's flip flopping vote was his uncertainty with how to drop the hammer knowing the outcome.
And this thing of him asking Epi who his next suspect is, I don't get why that's suss. It seems like the ploy , if Sloonei were bad, would be "frame job" but later on Epi reckons frame jobs never work out.
I don't think he's scum.
woah, ton of "linki" (i still dont know what that stands for)

Because I've spent the past half hour doing this, Wilgy.
Wilgy, you spent most of Days 1-4 arguing that LoRab was bad.
Then you suddenly turned around and suggested you civ her and that your own case wasn't enough 'evidence' to vote her.
I'm not seeing the posts in your history to explain your changing train of thought. At what point exactly did your opinion change? Why? Your posts reflect that she was likely your top scum read.

If I have any reservations, it's that the kind of snide "civvie savior" remark seems to come from townies I'm wrong about more than baddies I'm right about (or so I remember it without any actual data in front of me). Very small point though.

@Sloonei I want him to be bad more so than I feel that he is bad. It is causing my ability to read his reaction to his recent wagon clearly.
Part of me wants to think it's similar to when I caught him last time, but again I want him to be bad and it's skewing my read.

It reeks. You evaded my questioning on the matter and you then contradicted yourself in your answers. "Glorfindel 'til I die" you say? Or change your vote like 4 times. You have zero principle and seem only interested in lynching someone, not a baddie.

If we isolate today into a vacuum, Epi is the most suspicious player in this game. Glorfindel's and Scotty's absence is unfortunate but I can't hold either of those things against them. I think Dom looks frustrated and understandably flustered right now, but neither of those things give me a strong indication of any alignment.
Wilgy has actually looked pretty good today, IMO.

Re: MAD MAX: Day 6
How am I setting Epi up for an easy lynch? As I tried to highlight in that one post, "Who are you voting for?" is a very common and very softball question for me to ask. I ask it all the time to everyone. I asked you that question earlier in the game. I asked it to get immediate thoughts out of Epi. If Mac was his only read in the game, I don't think that reflects very well on him. But, as I've pointed out a few times now, Epi was one of my strongest town reads entering today. I am genuinely perplexed that the two of you interpreted my question that way and it's frustrating that it's continued for this long. I think you're just being stubborn at this point.Dom wrote:I think you tried to set Epi up for an easy lynch.Sloonei wrote:So what? I am genuinely lost. Holy exaggeration. I asked "Hey Epi, who are your suspects now that Mac is dead?" There was no maniacal or moronic herhering afterwards. Shut up. I love you.Epi and I lay out arguments against Mac. Epi was more vocal.
Mac is night killed.
Minutes later you come in, "HEY EPI WHO YA VOTING FOR NOW HUH HUH HUH?!"
That's not what I said. "Glorfindel until further notice" means "Glorfindel until my mind changes". I think this argument is horrible, but I have a bias there. Can someone back me up here? If you think I'm not actively scumhunting and critically analyzing the thread, then I suppose I have to challenge you to point out the posts where I'm actively avoiding those things, but no one ever takes me up on those sorts of proposals. It reeks. You evaded my questioning on the matter and you then contradicted yourself in your answers. "Glorfindel 'til I die" you say? Or change your vote like 4 times. You have zero principle and seem only interested in lynching someone, not a baddie.
This case honestly gives me the impression that you're not reading the thread and just saying what you want to true.

No one is listening to me at all. If you're really interested in hearing me out, you'd read my damn posts and NOT suddenly decide it's lynch Dom day and ignore half the things I've said. How many people keep saying they're going to "give me a read"? I've yet to see one ISO.

It was LoRab encouraging Epi to express or elaborate his suspicions on Elo.Quin wrote:Where is this hard evidence? It probably is what started me off on the wrong track for this game.LoRab wrote:Epi expressed suspicion of Elo earlier, which interests me because they read each other well. Would love for him to elaborate on his thoughts.
linki: On my quick read through before I started reading into Wilgy he just appeared frustrated. Which is a word that hasn't had a very predictable meaning in this game.
Linki - I don't remember the game, but Dom was bad and I caught him through him repeating something I had already asked. I think LoRab was the question receiver. I'll need to find the game.
What makes me feel that this is not a team action is that instead of saying "Epi thought Eloh was bad so she is bad" she said "Epi, elaborate on your Eloh suspicions". I feel that if this was for team distancing it would have been presented in the former rather than the latter and thus was not a team interaction.

Re: MAD MAX: Day 6
Regarding Sloonei and Dom and The Question:
I think that technically, Sloonei didn't answer the question -- at least not in a way that is likely to appease a town Dom. So I understand Dom on that front.
I also think it's a tiny point that is inadequate for a Day 6 vote, particularly when the narrative is that Sloonei was trying to get an "easy Epi lynch" (there is no such thing as an easy Epi lynch, and Sloonei never said he suspected him either). So, I think Dom's point is technically valid but not substantive or compelling.

This is all so blatantly coordinated.
