I don't recall our Whole Foods doing that! A Trader Joe's opened up about an hour south of here and I've never been. Maybe they have free offerings. I did try this gorge gouda at Fresh Market on Saturday. It was out of my price range but I could have eaten the tar out of that with some brioche.

I've skipped a day here and there if I had to get somewhere super early. I think that's it, other than when I was in the hospital and they wouldn't let me stand (but even at that, I had a sponge bath).

I am not a country fan, but Randy Travis is an exception, I do like him.

This question has a point; I have had my last laptop for just over 5 years, I spent a lot on it and took good care of it, but it has been outdated for a while, and its time to replace it. Should I spend $500 every 2.5 years on a midrange laptop, or $1000 on a good one every 5 years?

I think this is a question that needs more than one answer. I have a midrange laptop, on sale it was about $450. It has lasted me 3 years and is still going strong. I doubt I'll have to replace it before 5 years. I looked at higher priced laptops but couldnt justify spending that much more for more than I needed. My husband is still using a good laptop that is on about year 7 but there are things that are starting to fall apart. Based on my experience with this laptop I'd go for midpriced.

What do others think about SVS's question?

Unless you are a big gamer, I don't see any need for $1,000+ computer, especially a laptop. $500 can get you an Intel Core processor, 6GB of RAM and and 750 GB of hard drive space.

What are your computing needs?

Since you can't do heavy stuff (gaming) on a laptop anyway without overheating it, I'd pay more attention to the keyboard, the screen, the touchpad and such than the processing power. (Meaning that an i3 with 4-6 GB RAM would probably be good enough.) Also, if I had to buy a new laptop (which I gladly don't) I'd get a Thinkpad or a Dell Latitude or some other business model as they tend to be less flimsy than the "consumer" ones -- and I definitely wouldn't spend more than 500 on it.

That said, my current laptop cost me 30 (thirty) euros used and is perfect for what I'm using it for.

Do I have to ask a question?

Because you're good enough, smart enough, and dog gone it, people like you.

well linki - Well all of them but I particularly hate dishes. We cook a lot so they really pile up.

What is your favorite era for SNL?

The earliest, when they first started.

What is the first grown up show you were allowed to watch?
Skip softly, my moonbeams, for I have heard tell
That the stairs up to heaven lead straight down to hell

I didn't really have censorship growing up so probably SNL actually. I liked Tunsis, the Driving Cat.

How censor-y were your parent(s)?

Not very much, really! I was supposed to come straight home from school unless I called and told my dad where I was going first, so sometimes I'd go to the gas station for a snack or something without calling, which I wasn't supposed to do. They were weirdly stern about knowing my whereabouts but pretty permissive about the media I was allowed to absorb at home.

What is your favorite kind of hot dog?
