I see how the self-vote could come across as though I was trying to avoid the lynch. I wasn't avoiding discussion at all though, so you should keep that in my mind. It really was just an answer to an important question that I didn't think through the repercussions of.Snow Dog wrote:Quin wrote:Nice chat.Snow Dog wrote:SureQuin wrote:Wanna talk about it?Snow Dog wrote:Voted Quin.![]()
I think you are bad. That day 1 self vote is still playing on my mind. BUT.....I was intending to vote Soneji and voted you in error. If we could change votes I'd do it now.

Re: Monkey Island [DAY 3]
Night 3

Time to master the sword! On Monkey Island, sword fights are won or lost not based on how fast your feet and hands are, but on how quick your wit is. A properly delivered insult will do more to demoralize your opponent than the sharpest rapier. For example, if you encounter a pirate who boasts "You fight like a dairy farmer" a response along the lines of "How appropriate, you fight like a cow!" will give you a sure victory.
To pass this test, PM me your cleverest comebacks to the following three insults:
1. I once owned a dog that was smarter than you!
2. My handkerchief will mop up your blood!
3. Soon you'll be wearing my sword like a shish kebab!
NOTE: This is not about googling the answers from the game and sending me those. Anybody can do that. This is about trying to be more clever than the game, so good luck.
Meanwhile, Boomslang has been lynched. He was Carla.
You have 24 hours to submit your night actions.

When BR was lynched, I saw both he and you vouch that bussers were amongst the voters. While independently or in majority this may be considered healthy, but in a scenario where it's only 2, it reads as 2 non teammates.Epignosis wrote:Me neither.Snow Dog wrote:Not comfortable witj this boomslang lynch

Re: Monkey Island [NIGHT 3]
Reading into Snow Dog's posts.
A question about game mechanics. I don't lean either way on this; I have a 'would a baddie be more likely to ask this on the game thread or in BTSC' thing going around in my head, but knowing the answer to this specific question wouldn't put baddies at any significant advantage makes this a null read.
I like this. Not every question has to be generated into some sort of read, but Snow Dog seems to be covering his bases to not leave any stone unturned.
I don't like this. Earlier he said he'd 'reluctantly vote for a non-poster'. I think that there's a specific mentality for people who want to vote that way on Day 1 (as well as all other days tbfh), and that it's got a lot to do with the notion of 'they're not here so they're not contributing, and it would be rude to lynch a present player before them, so they're the next best thing to a mislynch'. This goes against that, because zebra was clearly here and contributing in her own way. Reason 2 is just whatever.
'I don't understand why you find a specific thing suspicious but I'll try and defend myself against it anyway'. This doesn't make me feel good.

Bye Boomslang we hardly knew ye.
Are we really just gonna not discuss the fact that Wilgy hasn't read his role pm? Wilgy do you think that we should not lynch a player who refuses to become aware of their nature thus removing our ability to analyse theit play genuinely? You are scum hunting apparently but at what point do we have to have a stab in the dark and lynch you just in case? The longer we wait the more of a gamble it is.

By all means lynch me if you feel that that is the best means of winning. I'm a constant unknown and I acknowledge this. I do note however, If I am bad, the other baddie team must kill me for victory. It's only a matter of time before the baddies are itching to remove the unknown as well.MacDougall wrote:Bye Boomslang we hardly knew ye.

Oh man I'm sorry boom. And sorry for missing the night poll, llama. It's been a busy day- haven't been around at all.
Who would ever suggest doing a matinee on a Friday? Who would go see that anyway? No one. That's who.

Re: Monkey Island [DAY 4]
Day 4

Congratulations! You have mastered the sword. Only two more trials to complete before you're a real pirate!
Here are the winning comebacks:
1. I once owned a dog that was smarter than you!
"Indeed! It was his idea that I shit in your loafers."
2. My handkerchief will mop up your blood!
"Well, first you should clean our your loafers."
3. Soon you'll be wearing my sword like a shish kebab!
"Soon you'll be wearing smelly loafers."
It's a joyous occasion indeed, but sadly, not everyone will live to enjoy it.
Epignosis has been killed.
Quin has been killed.
You have 48 hours to lynch a baddie.

I don't want to live in that universe.

Figures Epi died. RIP! Surprised at Quins death, seeing as he was getting lots of pressure from people yesterday. I think he was good, for the record.
Wilgy, have you checked your Role PM yet?
What would you have talked about that you couldn't do so yesterday?DrWilgy wrote:Q.Q
