That was meant to be a hypothetical but I left off an "if."
Dislike Daisy's vote. Dislike MP's more but I've discussed mafia theory enough this game.
I actually find Dom's relative silence and post about Klaus and cult worse than the other two low posters we were discussing. Not that a one post read is worth much on D1.

Who would you like to vote for, grand elf?
I don't think I've seen sufficient genuine content so far to make a judgement to be honest, my friend - and yes, I know I bear some responsibility for that... Of the current wagons, MM's looks the most pure but from my recollection, the poor guy gets lynched early every game I play with him
You haven't seen sufficient enough content to make your own case on anyone but somehow have seen enough to not like the look of the leading wagons. If you don't like the look of them, think of why that is and go from there. You might find yourself thinking that the wagons are scum motivated and look into those voting on them.
You are only allowed to vote "I didn't start the fire but I watched the house burn while sitting on the fence", at this point.
@ISH : Ties are most definitely not fun for anyone trying to take this game seriously.

Dom
DrWilgy
Elohcin
Epignosis
Glorfindel
LoRab
Marco

I would like to point out (for the record) my friend that I did not 'miss' the vote. I deliberately withheld mine. I was faced with a choice between two players of which I was unwilling to support either.
Why wouldn't you random or self-vote in this scenario?

How is my wagon pure? Zebra didn't read my posts properly and I don't even know why Daisy is voting for me (aside from gut).
If you joined it, it would be pure. But I don't want that.
I mean that I feel very confident in Daisy and Zebs being Town. That doesn't mean I necessarily agree with them however. I'm not voting for you right now.
Looks like you didn't vote for anyone right now. Who would you have voted if you were required to place a vote today?
I have an idea but I need to do some considerable research to support my choice. I am unwilling to nominate who they were/are at this point because the last thing I want to do is falsely accuse someone of being Mafia (granted not something most people have an issue with around here ).

I've been over this before, my friend. In my book, self voting is nearly always the worst choice you can make in any lynch vote whether you're a viable option or not.

I hear your plea but the fact of the matter is it's day 1 and unless you have info on something, you're probably going to be taking a stab in the dark.
Hell, that's why I target no-shows first.
I'm very curious as to what "research" you could be taking at this point in the game. It's all hear-say without lynch results

It's the rare form of "reaction-baiting" I find somewhat useful, in that it forces others to show their cards.
I also thought along the same lines as Daisy that the people involved in the Snow Dog kerfuffle were more likely to be civilian than those who avoided it, so I felt slightly better about DDL.
Plus, I know from experience that DDL can sometimes say things that cause others to gang up on him. *cough*Haiku Mafia*cough*

The only thing I accused you of was fence-sitting.
With one of your latest posts we can add actively avoiding stepping on toes to your list of crimes.
Having walked along Lousy Lane for many miles, tempers flared in a manner reminiscent of the unfortunate event which precipitated (a word which here means "was the entire reason for") their trek eastward. It is sadly very often the case that when one is angry, one will lash out at those nearby for any reason. I have experienced this regrettable behavior myself, when a dear friend of mine undergoing a great deal of stress responded to my rather flamboyant necktie by hurling a live badger in my direction. Badgers, much like lynch mobs, do not care whether their victim is innocent.
Sprityo had had the misfortune to wander off the lane some ways, due to his failing eyesight. Several of the already angry members noticed his departure, and this led to a formation of the metaphorical badger which would metaphorically claw out Sprityo's life.
The crowd easily caught up with Sprityo, then set upon him fiercely, beating him with the picnic basket and stomping him in a rather catchy rhythm. The poor man's glasses soon shattered into thousands of tiny fragments, his bones soon doing the same.
Sprityo has been lynched, and was Hal.
It is now Night 1. You have 23 hours to get your PMs in.
Glorfindel wrote:And there you go... vindicated again!
Damn, yo, what vindication? What if DDL is a baddie? Your vote would have tied them up, and maybe changed EVERYTHING. It's a scotche early to be proclaiming "vindication".
Shitty lynch, but I'll admit I would have voted sprit if I had to choose between the two main wagons. Ddl suspicion be damned, I feel like I'm always on the dude, and sprit fit Daisy's concept well.
Maybe violet can invent a Rez machine.
i made a reads list on 11 people including a full ISO of soneji today and no-one even acknwledged it. Not saying that to be bitchy, but We're going to struggle if we don't engage with each other.
The former beachgoers, feeling rather weary after an afternoon of murder, soon stumbled upon a most peculiar house at the end of Lousy Lane. Upon venturing inside, they found a dazzling assortment of reptiles from all over the world. The group made a unanimous (a word which here means "extremely ill-advised") decision that spending the night in the Reptile Room, surrounded by dozens of snakes, was the safest option available.
CONTEST! Any player who wants to do so may send the host a description of a peculiar reptile during Night 1. The player with the most original creature will get a prize.

Tee hee Golden posted in the Polls thread!
Interesting. Golden, you're a strong willed/strong minded player, why did you feel the need to reference my "concept" regarding the lynch and then to turn around and complain about people not paying attention to your reads? That just reads all kinds of wrong to me.

By the way, I'm not complaining about people not paying attention to my reads. I'm providing an example which is s symptom of what I'm seeing generally which is lack of engagement, which is exactly what your concept was about.
Ok, copy that. I follow you now. It felt like you were subtly trying to put responsibility squarely in my shoulders. I misread your intent all around it seems.

Yeah, I agree that you read that wrong. I think Golden makes a good point, and I for one intend to go back and engage his post. It just didn't happen tonight because I was more focused on writing a long damn email to try and deal with some all-too-real-life stuff that's somewhat stressful. Golden's got the seed planted to blossom into real Mafia-finding discussion, which seems to be something this game is lacking at the moment.
But no, quite the opposite. You are one of the towniest in my eyes. I haven't read the end of day well enough to analyse if anyone's votes are suspicious, but I think the result lies on all of us collectively (me included) for not engaging well.
Not that we could have known what role it was. That's just bad luck.
I have returned and I regret having done so already

You express suspicion about Markot like 5 times and explain this suspicion of him 1 time, weakly, by qualifying your reasons with "I think" after expressing suspicion of several other players for the same thing but without the qualifier.
Why MM over the others you said were posting but not engaging? You mention MM a lot more but don't give more reasons for voting for him.
