The Rules

1) Day periods last 30 minutes. Night periods are 15 minutes.
2) Votes will not be changeable. Self-voting is not permitted.
3) No double-targeting (targeting the same player on consecutive nights) or self-targeting is permitted.
4) All players on the side of the winning faction will win.
5) Do not role-claim or out someone's role.
6) BTSC (behind the scenes communication) is only permitted in host-designated locations.
7) No editing or deleting of posts in the game thread.
8) Dead players should post in the {Dead} Red if they are posting in the game thread.
9) Non-Players should similarly post in {np} Blue if they are posting in the game thread.
10) Living players wishing to discuss something off-topic should do so in {OT} Green.

I completely see your point, my friend. I'm very happy to revisit this matter if there is a consensus for changeable voting. The previous (Election Night) game worked under a non-changeable vote arrangement but as I was lynched early that game, I'm not really in a position to make a judgement as to how effectively that arrangement worked. Perhaps anyone who had played in that game may like to post their views on this matter...?

Greetings, Fellow Syndicateers!

With less than 12 hours to go before our proposed start time for Wicked Mafia, we have barely 50% of the players we need to make this game a viable proposition. I don't personally think it is reasonable to expect a Host to continue with a game under these circumstances so (as a consequence) I'm calling this game now. I believe this game has great potential and I'd be happy to host it again at some point in the future that the Site Administrators and you, the fine members here, deem suitable.

I do strongly believe that these games are a very important and worthwhile feature of this site and am committed to their concept. For this reason, despite the personal inconvenience, I will be signing up to play Sprityo's Credithunt Game later this week and I implore you all to consider signing up as well to further test the concept of Burglary games.

Thank you to all of you who signed up to play for your enthusiasm and support (and especially to MP and Jay for theirs). I appreciate it very much

I know it's a closed setup; is that the reason for calling it? I know that 9 players for a game can work quite well with 7 civilians and 2 mafia, but that is assuming a completely vanilla setup.

The last burglary game we played people signed up the day of the game as it got closer and they saw that they would be able to play. For example, it looks like my circumstances have changed and I could play. I would hate to see you call the game now when theres still the possibility we could play but I guess you have to do what you have to do.

Thanks, my friend - no, I'm afraid that it is not at all a vanilla set up and I believe we actually only have 8 players as I've been working under the assumption that MP was my Co-Host. Being the first game that I've hosted anywhere, there is now way in the wide world that I'd be able to run the game on my own...
