Kind of weird questioning. Are you aiming to come after some top posters?Snow Dog wrote:But there is almost certainly a baddie in, say, the top 10 posters? Even top 6 possibly?Dragon D. Luffy wrote:People always ask that for some reason and the most likely answer is always "both".DrWilgy wrote:Thank you LC.
General consensus. Do we think more baddies are openly discussing or hiding in the background?
There are 7 baddies in this game, I expect some of both kinds.
Sog certainly looks good due to the spirityo flip but it doesn't sit right by me that he spent his whole D2 on it when it was a static argument.

@ Epi: You are an ass when you play this game, you know that? Civs need to converse, share thoughts and express their cases so that they can route out the baddies, as a team. And I have zero belief that you have any kind of info role, I think you just like being obtuse. INH is right that you don't get any right to be smug, but you will be anyway. And no one will give a shit because we all know your choice to act the way you have in this situation has not helped the civs at all. So if you are civ, which I would bet you are, you're useless to us when you play this way. But I know that won't stop you, so whatever. I'm done engaging with you just to be treated like a dimwitted child.

Christmas lasted longer than I expected and I ended up forgetting that this game existed in the process; I'm sorry for that, but, on the bright side, if the scum are sweethearts that will let me survive for one more night then I'll see if I can't make some magic happen tomorrow!

I no longer have a positive reason to believe Long Con is a civilian.
That isn't to say that I suspect him- it's just that my reason for standing in his corner yesterday is gone.

Re: A Mafia of Unfortunate Events [DAY 2]
Ok just to add context, this is what I believe Eloh is referring to.
I'll think about your question later, Quin.
I didn't say there wasn't much going on, I said there weren't any big wagons other than sprit, which I believe was true at the time.Dragon D. Luffy wrote:Some people want to lynch spirit because he replaced Glorf after he said some pingy stuff. He seems to be the main wagon here. So I was packing and moving AND getting very little sleep. Summary please?

Re: A Mafia of Unfortunate Events [NIGHT 2]
Night 2 - The Distressful Dinner
The phrase "A hard day's work" usually refers to certain people who wake up in the morning, go to their jobs, and return home at night after working. It can also be used to refer to people who wake up in the morning, leave behind their fellow beachgoers' bodies, walk for many miles, and argue over where to eat dinner.
After a hard day's work, the beachgoers arrived at the small town along the coast of Lake Lachrymose. Some of the group argued for eating at the Anxious Clown, the only restaurant in sight. Some of the group argued in favor of renting a boat and fishing for dinner on the lake. Some of the group wanted to skip dinner and go shopping for clothes at Look! It Fits!
In the end, the Anxious Clown seated the large party for a peaceful dinner. Several members of the company decided that their day was not yet over, and wandered about the town. Soup walked along the coast, looking at the pristine (a word which here means "containing ferocious leeches") waters of the lake. Suddenly he heard a noise behind him. As he rarely spoke, Soup merely glanced behind to see a small baby. He bent down to pick her up, but Sunny launched herself at Soup and bit him savagely, thinking him to be the one who endangered her siblings on the beach. As Soup stumbled away in agony, he was met by the always fashionable Esme Squalor, who looked upon his wounds with disgust.
"Scars are most definitely out," she hissed, and pushed Soup backwards into Lake Lachrymose. Within moments, the leeches pulled Soup under and enjoyed their own dinner.
After a hard day's work, Mr. Poe decided to stretch his legs and wander over to Look! It Fits! He walked inside and found LoRab looking at new scarves. Offering his help, Mr. Poe tried to wrap a particularly long and thick scarf around LoRab's neck, but most unfortunately tripped over the scarf and yanked hard in panic. When he had gathered himself, Mr. Poe found that LoRab's neck had been broken. Mr. Poe felt bad for the employees who would have to deal with her body, and so offered to pay for the scarf.
Soup has been killed by Sunny and Esme.
LoRab has been killed by Mr. Poe.
It is now Day 3. You have 48 hours to lynch someone.

WOW, what a night, soup was a target for both the Civ ninja (aka vigilante) and baddie team number two; a proper target to be vig-killed, but I'm surprised to see Esme do that...as a baddie. I would think that one would enjoy having soup there to possibly draw a low-player lynch...as a baddie.

EBWOP: I meant a "low-poster", not a "low player", which is a mistake one can make as a Civvie, as an Indy, or...as a baddie.

Re: A Mafia of Unfortunate Events [NIGHT 2]
Soup just isn't dead he is really dead.
This is actually really helpful in pinning down mafia members, I'd need to do some research, but I do recall in the last game where the high posters were getting plucked off several older members of TS were saying they wouldn't target high posters just because. There are also some who I think would be more likely to go after people like Soup who weren't/aren't contributing. Now I don't have any names yet and haven't looked into it much, but I do think that could be a helpful clue about Esme.
If I had to take a shot in the dark, I'd say Esma is an older member who has a good amount of experience of TS who hasn't been very active this game, I'd also say there's a chance they've hosted games in the past.
Unlike the Glorf thing, this isn't something I'd lynch on, but it is something to build a foundation on I think.
Also like I said last night assuming there weren't any shenanigans, which would mean an extra two votes on Sprit's not reported, nobody on Sprit's wagon was on his team.
Meaning Soneji, Epi, and Eloh are all cleared of being GHASTLY GUARDIANS, I'd include LC in that as well since he was the counter wagon to Sprit's, myself as well as DDL appeared to be counterwagons also, so I don't think we should be lynched this phase either.

LC and Sprityo were tied, and Sprityo got lynched. This means that his vote against LC counted as one, and not two.The Powder-Faced Women – Their vote counts for two as long as at least one other member of the Troupe votes the same way.
Not sure why you're clearing Soneji, Epi, Elo, LC, DDL, and yourself.

Oh, I thought I had your guys name in it to, also let me clarify you'd be lock cleared, I'm self clearing the others due to the vote distribution and mechanics. I don't think it is very likely for teammates for to vote a mafia partner in a situation like this, which is why I'm saying Soneji, Epi, and Eloh are cleared. I think it would be highly unlikely that LC who was the counterwagon is on their team. I also was including In DDL since we saw movement to lynch him based around people who were agaisnt the Sprit's wagon.
Now having said that, all of these players could be on the other mafia team, I just think it is immpossible/improbably they're on the Guardins.
Sorry for the confusion it's late. :P

Sooo....
NOT IN TROUPE: INH, DDL, JoH
NOT IN GUARDIANS: Soneji, Epi, Elo, LC, DDL
Does this mean you've joined me in the "DDL is totes town" corner?

Sprityo is still on the list. We just can't get rid of the guy.

Bussing is a thing and I wouldn't clear anyone of the possibility of voting for a teammate. Less likely yes, but not impossible. And it's Epi you are talking about.
I also don't get why anyone should be cleared of being a Guardian. Sprit was a member of the Troupe.
I agree that the people who voted for LC are more or less cleared of being Troupe, due to game mechanics.

And just so I understand, you folks aren't actually clearing players from mafia teams, right? I agree with the conclusion since sprityo had just subbed back into the game, but I'm not taking it as fact (except for sig maybe).

Yeah Sig is not troupe. There is bussing, but come on.
The others... it would depend on timing.

I agree with sig not in the Troupe, but I'm lost on these two lists.

I get the first list now. If one of them was sprityo's partner, their vote would be doubled and LC would have been lynched instead.
What about the second list?

But maybe LC survived because he is Esme. This posibility throws doubt on that list.Metalmarsh89 wrote:I get the first list now. If one of them was sprityo's partner, their vote would be doubled and LC would have been lynched instead.

I would like to point out that I would bet that the Lotab kill probably had someone involved in the decision who knew she was in Israel.
