I'd prefer to lynch Eloh between the two, I'm not as confident in Epi being bad as I am Eloh.

I finally have time to respond this:

Dragon D. Luffy wrote:Hey Quin

Sorry for saying I'd ignore you. I realized that's a jerk thing to do. No point in that.

Please link three posts from you/anyone else you want me to respond. No more than that. I will not respond everything people asked me in the entire game, don't bother.
I don't know what value I can get out of talking to you about things that have already happened, because my question to you in all cases would just be 'What was your thought process?'

But for the sake of it, talk about these behaviours as best you can (not quoting posts, I've got enough tabs open already):

1) You were a significant player in the Day 0/1 discussion about Snow Dog's not reading his role shtick. I think you took it too literally (though admittedly I'm projecting my own Monkey Island experience on you here), and your proposition to policy lynch/vig him was concerning. Golden made a point that I agreed with in that you were quick to assume that he wouldn't be scum-hunting even if he hadn't read his role. I also find it interesting that you didn't seem to be open to considering the possibility that he was joking, although that possibility had already been discussed.

2) I feel like you abandoned a discussion that we were having where you accused me of being non-committal to a sprityo lynch. I don't know where your thoughts are now, so I'm bringing it up again so you can provide them.

Ideally I'd just like to see you engage in discussions concerning yourself more. I just don't think you've been inquisitive enough for me to trust you. I feel strongly enough that you're not on sprityo's team, so maybe I'll back off for a phase and explore some other options.
1- I wanted to policy lynch SD for saying he didn't read his role and I'd do it again, in my view that's refusal to play the game and it puts you on the bottom of civ usefulness. I stopped caring after it was revealed to be just a joke, a possibility I didn't consider at first. I still suspected SD for a long time after that, though.

2- I made my point, you rebutted, we reached some kind of consensus (I think you refuted some accusation I made that was based on my lack of proper research) and I had nothing left to say. I didn't keep that in mind for a long time after that. Day 1 accusations are usually based on stuff I know will not last long as arguments, unless something new and more incriminating comes later.

As of where I'm standing (600 posts behind), I have no idea how to read you. There is a side of me that wants you dead, and another part that thinks you are playing too risky to be bad. Then again, it seems "too risky" is your fefault playing style, so I don't know what to believe anymore.

Well, on to some hardcore catching up. I'll try not to quote things this time.

Ok screw that, I'm skipping the rest of Day 4/Night 4. This is a game, not a job, and I won't lose sleep today because of it.

Starting on Day 5.

Dom wrote:I didn't have bad posts because I wasn't bad. Your framing of it that way is very... eye opening. I was not responsible for my lynch. You people were for not even bothering to wait to see me defend. It's sad and shitty civilian play by you all.

You continue to misinform people on the reasons I ssuspect quin. Why?
Everybody is responsible for their lynch in one way or another.

You spent a day attacking Glorf and then before you left you made a vote against the person with the most votes after Glorf. Your lynch was a result of basic vote analysis. It was textbook distancing followed by trying to save a teammate.

Sure, you were a civ so you couldn't have known. But from our perspective, you were uber-scum. And when you could have saved yourself by defending yourself, you didn't.

That doesn't mean I think you made a bad decision. You spent a day with your family. That's awesome. We should all spend more time with our families instead of playing mafia. But part of the responsibility for the lynch still lies on you. You made a choice, and reaped the consequences of it. The good ones and the bad ones.

You are not guilty, but you are still responsible.

If Epi is bad, he is on the baddie team without the Sir, I would think. But then if he were on that team, he wouldn't have voted Glor/Sprit, I would think.

*sigh* - still not sure what to think of Epi. I will need to see more of him and his votes before I can understand him better.
Can you point out anything in here that you wouldn't say if you were on a baddie team with Epi?

Eloh being super judgemental of Dom because he won't catch up is uncanny.

I don't think I've ever seen Eloh care about that.

Specially since I don't think I've ever seen Eloh be caught up in any game.

I think lots of people are bad. I can't lynch them all at once, now can I? I just posted something substantial about Eloh and I want to hear what she has to say. Voting you early without hearing the cases on other people and weighing the evidence that comes in is so...well, narrow-minded.
So I've been bad since day one, but others just keep getting in the way first. Yeah. Five days of suspecting me, but still never enough for a vote... despite saying things like this:

@DDL What do you think of my MM case? @EPI same to you.

I've explained my reasoning to place you in one of three indy roles (or a Violet-given vest). But the first thing you talked about after checking in was a discussion about how much of a threat Ishmael is and how important it is to kill him. I could pull all 5/6 posts, but they all seemed out of place. So I don't think Ishmael recruited you, I think you are Ishmael.

And this is the first I'm hearing of you suspecting me. Only two days ago you said you thought that my argument with DDL was civ/civ. What changed?

I think you just want me dead because I've outted you, sig. But I have no intention of lynching someone who can win with town, so you can drop it.

Quin, I have absolutely no reason to lie about being recruited by Ishmael. As you pointed out, no-one needs Ishmael's team dead - if anything, it would benefit me to imply I was on that team.

But I'm not. I don't tend to get recruited. No-one needs the guy who generally gets NKed in the first couple of days. Plus I still have a reputation (from baddie recruiting abilities), that you don't want to recruit me lest I stay loyal to the civs and sink your game.

I'm not surprised. You'd probably end up lynching the people you're supposed to win with.
So you deleted the bit where I said what you said from my quote, and then said it again, just so you could have another snark at me?

 :p

Just so everyone knows, there is a big smile on my face right now. I love playing this game with epi, even when I want him lynched.

Just about to do a more full description of my case on epi, so people can judge it for what it is.

Right back at you (even though I don't want you lynched).

And I'll be here to remind everyone how you're as arrogant as you are delusional. :hugs:

Top suspects:
Epi (Golden is my spirit poster, obv buddies with Eloh, framing and reframing but he can't change what actually happened, distancing, gets rude/vague when losing arguments)

Eloh (obv buddies w/Epi, lots of nonsensical "Oh, me and Epi wouldn't do that if we are scum so therefore we aren't" and suspected by most the players I trust)

MM (Sig's case looks decent....but the follow up lynch is potentially me and I'm not teamed with the marmot. In fact, if MM is a Trouper, I can't be on his team, along with DDL and INH. Anyway, I feel an Epi/Eloh lynch tells us more and I suspect them more and their scum team would theoretically have more members left alive. If Epi and Eloh are dead tomorrow or one flips not mafia, I'm happy to string up MM next.)

Want more from Sorsha but she doesn't make the list yet.

Hey, I could see a world in which Elo is bad and you are not. I could see a world in which you are bad and she is not. Saying 95% was 95% hyperbole.

I'm also seriously considering the possibility you are an indy. Something you said made me think...

But anyway, I'm setting out my case on you for now, and I think it's pretty good at showing what I mean by you being all angles and no thought.

I'm not on a team with my wife. We've been bad together before. We're better than this. :srsnod:

No thought.

God help us if people think I'm not putting any thought into this. :disappoint:

A lot of effort, sure. But the apparent "thought" all seems very false to me.

If you are a civilian, you are wasting your evening gathering the masses in my direction.

And if I get lynched, and you see my role, I want you to look back over my posts and see how you didn't do any damn thinking.

See, here's the thing epi. You keep saying things like this, treating me as a civilian who will see the error of my ways later. But yet you claim you still see me as bad?

I wonder how many times I could cover my wrongness by getting the mod to ban the topic of discussion in one game if I really tried.
