Each sock person, that is. Provided they don't mind as guessing at them, then I think it's ok.

Plus now would be a good time to discuss the baddies in the other thread now that we have had a Lynch.

Sloonei was my bet too. It fits with him understanding Mac's meta, but missing a lot of RM people.S~V~S wrote:Plus now would be a good time to discuss the baddies in the other thread now that we have had a Lynch.

The other three I have in mind as not ruled out are - rico (who I know can play up fake meta tells to appear to be others), zebra, and nutella.

I'm sorry if it was assuming you were for me to think that. I don't know. I only know what you've said in this thread. I had that particular sock last game it was in. I guess I projected, because my play that game was very much role playing. I"m sorry. I'm about 80 yards behind in this game and doing everything I can to catch up.Donna Meagle wrote:so... like... how am i role playing at all?

Ahhh Sloonei. That would make sense as I don't know him very well at all. I don't think it's rico because rico has been at work during times Prisoner has been here, though some things he says are very rico-like ("my sources tell me...").
I also suspected sig and thought Scotty made some good points about Quin in the other thread. I hate that I've missed a whole day of behavior for each of them.

I've defended most of those sigwagons. He gets taken out for poor choice of words, things that look so overtly bad, usually specific commentary on individuals that appears contrived. The only time I went after sig and was wrong was in Turf Wars, where his apparent obvious baddieness was so outrageous that I felt he couldn't possibly be good (I was wrong).
My point being, this sig doesn't look like any of those bad wagons. Sig isn't getting himself into trouble for word usage, but rather for lack of genuine content, blendiness, and the way he handled the Mac lynch. None of these behaviours are things I associate with civ sig - neither the civ sig who gets himself in trouble (because usually that one is still opinionated), nor super-sig like what was recently seen in Unfortunate Events. Civ sig throws his thoughts out there and doesn't worry about how he looks.

Additionally, as the day was winding down, he commented on every player receiving suspicion in the thread except for MacDougall, the leading voter, who also happened to flp mafia. I don't think that's circumstantial.
And yes, that was the main reason I didn't support a Soneji lynch.

Either way, Cheerleader did not help us today. So all you folks calling her GOOD in the GTH reads make me scratch my head. If she's not indie, then what kind of balance would this game have with a random, new sock on the civ side?
Tell me: if you were doing a GTH exercise and know beyond a doubt that a role is indie, is that not an acceptable response? (we don't know it, it's purely hypothetical)

I've never had any issue with 'indy' in gth. That is a read. It's different from fence sitting. Sometimes you read people specifically as being independent.

Because sig was a solid lynch candidate on Day 1, making someone who voiced a suspicion of him a solid contributor to trying to lynch him.Donna Meagle wrote:I do agree that sig is suspiciousMetalmarsh89 wrote:I still don't understand this tbh.S~V~S wrote:@golden i hated how he wanted to talk about the other thread and not this one. Re: 2016 Game of Champions - Beach [Night 2]
First Sig is always a solid Lynch candidate day one. And I have seen Sig say incredible provocative things and be flip floppy and self serving when he flipped civ.
Then have you read this thread where no one could remember anything from the other thread?
And I said why I found it suspect, I explained it to Made. Talking about the other thread felt like a distraction to me. Ultimately I didn't vote based on it. Sorry you don't find that valid, we each have our own method.
And while I agree that I wish we had not lynched a civvie, I am OK with the vote I made. He felt evasive and not wanting to be helpful. Juliet's vote, though, makes me go hrm.
Also are we thinking that the cheerleaders handler is bad? If so I would guess that he/she is one of the Soneji voters unless both Bea and Soneji were civs.

Re: 2016 Game of Champions - Beach [Night 2]
I don't mind some suspicion but I will say this again: I would have to be dumb to do a meta analysis of Soneji earlier in the day basically clearing him in my mind and then changing to him at the last minute when I knew he was good. Go back and take a look at what I wrote about him earlier in the day. Or tell me and I'll link you to it. The smart move for me would have been to stay on bea, whether she is civ or bad. I said earlier why I changed my vote so I won't repeat myself.S~V~S wrote:

On the cheerleader it makes sense that if the Process is indy then she is indy. The only thing in the back of my mind is in the original Transistor game it looks like the Process had to be destroyed by the civs to win. Doesn't this mean the Process was bad and by extension all those "tendrils" would be bad? Scotty since you played a "tendril" you seem to be our resident expert on this role, am I right that the Process was considered bad? Another thought that occurs to me though is if the Process was bad in that game it doesn't necessarily mean it's bad in this one. Oh well, the cheerleader is really on the periphery of my vision right now though I agree with whoever said it probably means the Process is among us.
I hope we can do something productive with the day today.

Arrgh, shitty result. RIP Soneji. Cheerleader putting him over the edge looks really shady, but I don't know how much can be gleaned from that considering the sock. My gut tells me whoever is controlling that account wouldn't double up? I think MM comes out looking the best from this lynch: made valid points in counter of Soneji, voted where his mouth was. I thought llama had a good case, but I hope we hear from him in the aftermath.

Did anyone happen to capture the lynch poll? I don't see it in the polls available to us.

I copied them down for my own personal use, but I don't think we're allowed to do any more than that.

How does that make a soneji lynch so obviously a bad iea?[/quote]Donna Meagle wrote:Because sig was a solid lynch candidate on Day 1, making someone who voiced a suspicion of him a solid contributor to trying to lynch him.
Since this is almost like another Day 1, I thought it good enough reason to PoE Soneji.

My gut tells me whoever is controlling that account wouldn't double up? I think MM comes out looking the best from this lynch: made valid points in counter of Soneji, voted where his mouth was. I thought llama had a good case, but I hope we hear from him in the aftermath.

Well I'll just post it in this thread, just in case.

While I'm inclined to agree llama, I'm not as much in agreement with the claim that cheerleader voted to save Bea. It easily could of just been done to fuck with us, assuming it was a civvie vs civvie lynch.
That said, I'm not gonna say it makes Bea look bad, but it definitely doesn't make her look good.

To Donna's point, the Cheerleader in the Transistor game had a vote worth 0.Donna Meagle wrote:hwo do you know the cheerleaders vote counted?Metalmarsh89 wrote:Quotes fixed

@Donna, I didn't realize what you were asking. But the spirit of the vote is still there, whether it counted or not.

Not really, no. But if we want to avoid the risk of it influencing lynches later on, we should try to avoid such tight polls.thellama73 wrote:Does it matter whether the Cheerleader's vote counted?

I also assumed that the cheerleader's vote counted toward getting Soneji lynched, and it appears Boomslang did as well. I don't find it suspicious for Metalmarsh to suggest that it did.

No, I mean that it's the thought that counts. Whether the vote counts or not, it was placed on Soneji.Donna Meagle wrote:So a spirit would determine whether there is a tie or not?Metalmarsh89 wrote:@Donna, I didn't realize what you were asking.
