Finally a PAer who loves 80s music as much as I do.

It's pretty funny that ProgArchives has pretty much devolved into "The Crazy Libertarian Discussion Forum" at this point, though not entirely displeasing.

There's certainly a reason I stopped going there regularly long ago. Lost my interest completely. It did play an important role in establishing friendships that I now maintain here and elsewhere, and in discovering music in my earlier years, but it has long outlived its prime IMO.
That said, I consider my views most close to libertarian and I like a good intellectual discussion... That is precisely why I do not read that thread. Not the fault of you or Epig, moreover of most everyone else.

That's why I rarely bother to read General Discussions. It doesn't bother me much except when it derails threads.
I really miss the endless religious arguments, though.

Sorry. I will try harder.
I mean the ones that involved Ivan and Mike arguing for pages and pages and pages.

Wow! Happy Birthday Vomps, AP, and Cash (a person I do not know)!
Also, yay bea on 8/28. I am coming up on 8/23 myself and planning a shared 30th party with a friend born on 8/28. Clearly a date good people were born. There will be no 80s theme though. This will not be the epic party of Epi. Also I am not married to an amazing Cake Baker. We got the MIL as a babysitter though and we're going out with a group of friends. WOOT!
Also, bacon is delicious, most vegetarians can agree to that. Only meat I tried that I liked first time.
Now I want grits. Damn.

Thanks for the lovely birthday wishes! Sadly it's been raining all day in Virginia and we spent the last 6 hours trying to get the baby to nap (success!). Thankfully I get a lovely meal of Cheese souffle cooked for me this evening. I'm going to go post a fantastic picture of me a friend created for my birthday.
