Night 5: "With 12 of Us We Can Get a Lot Done"

With the tribes merged, most people had their eye set on making friends.

"Weren't we supposed to get a tribal feast at merge?" asked OptOut.

"They probably have budget cuts or something," shrugged notsawyer.

"I just wanted food," said a forlorn Epi, whose stomach was starting to show ribs.

"Ribs?" asked Golden.

"My ribs aint for eating, you ignoramus," sniffed Epi.

The tribe generally worked well together- a cohesive unit, if you will.
The tribe used the flint they had stored from Mamana to light the fire, and Elohcin stoked it.
DF, OptOut and speedchuck decided to get another shelter together. Hopefully this would be the last one they needed.
SVS, Quin and INH felt the need to use teamwork to retrieve the water. The tribe was once again quenched of thirst.
Fishing was a wondrous event, especially with the fishing gear. notsawyer, Sorsha, Epi and Golden went out and found various levels of fish for themselves.
Resting in the pit that was soon to be a nice shelter was LoRab.
Also in the shelter on a leash was Doodle, the pet chicken, minding his own business. He was surely going to hatch another egg tonight.

At the challenge, the tribes learned that one person was to covet the Immunity Necklace. For tribal immunity was no more, and in its place was jewelry. Fancy.

All players were given separate clues to determine the location of the immunity idol on a small section of the island. After slow revealing of information, players just started digging. speedchuck jumped right in and started, followed by over half the tribe.

"I just know it has to be here!" exclaimed speedchuck.

And it was. speedchuck was right on the money and came up from his dig proudly with a necklace around his neck.

It would be weird if it were around anywhere else.

speedchuck has won Individual Immunity. You may not vote for speedchuck tonight at Tribal Council.
For the rest of you, one of you will be going home and will be the 7th person voted out of Survivor: Mafia.

It is now Night 5. You have 24 hours to vote someone out at Tribal Council. Night will end at Midnight, EST

Definitely a survivor thing. It didn't say "shelter" or I might have voted differently but I think home is the least imprtant for survival. Probably wouldn't be my real life choice
