As for the auction, the way it works is (assuming it follows the actual shows concept to a T) Scotty will reveal an item, which will usually be food, some form of comfort, a trick, or an advantage, and we will auction our $500 on them. Sometimes items are revealed before we bet, and sometimes we're betting on an item that won't be revealed until somebody buys it.

When I saw Sawyers role, it made me think of when you asked me if I had given you that fish since your hunger went down, not up:

Each night, he can bark orders at one target, making them expend 2 energy and either 2 hunger or 2 thirst during the night instead of 1 each.
Army Sergeant does not get as thirsty as most, and as such, starts with a higher thirst level.

Maybe he targeted you a few times? This might account for some of your drop if he targeted you every other night. This is the Double Targeting rule:

4. You may not target the same player with a Day or Night power two times in a row. This does not include voting for someone at tribal council.

Becasue the first BTSC chats we had at Atamai, he told me he took food from Sorsha. He used a word that seemed more aggressive to me than just "took" but I don't recall what the word was. When Sorsha said in thread that she had fed him, I thought that maybe I misinterpreted what he said out of generic paranoia. Now seeing his role, maybe not.

If this is true, and he was trying to slowly starve you to death, I would guess that if your hunger stops falling, that might be at least part of the answer.

Has anyone else had mysterious drops in food/water? Does anyone know if powers go through on a night you are voted out?

Now that I look back on my PMs, I think my thirst fluctuated more than it should have. Although it is hard to say with having been sick. If he WAS in league with LC, I could actually totally see LC wanting to target both of us in this way.

Both of us tend to be fighters, and making us waste away in the night might be an easier way to get rid of us than direct confrontation via tribal council. He and I were pushing against each other fairly strongly when the tribes split. Although as I said, I am not 100% sure I was targeted since there was the sickness, and I don't know how much water going to the well brings, etc. But even if he did not target me, I still think it is pretty clear he targeted you, Epi.
