FYI, I'm at a convention starting in the morning (well, really I got here tonight, but the convention doesn't start until tomorrow), so my schedule will not be whatever passes as normal during my usual schedule. In other words, differently wonky. I'll still have time to play--it just might be at different hours than the ones I'm normally on. Just so you all know ahead of time if you notice the schedule change.

Night 7: "I'll Pencil You In"

Not a peep.

It was quiet around camp: no one wanted to talk about Epi's recent vote off, and with 4 different people attracting votes, it would seem not talking about things confused some people.

DF tried his hand at the fire and kept it burning.
LoRab, Golden and OptOut teamed up to retrieve the water. The tribe was once again quenched of thirst.
Resting in the nice shelter was Quin, speed and Elo.
INH, Sorsha and SVS went on pleasant strolls. Because they're worth it.
Doodle performed his namesake and doodled a self portrait like the natural Rembrandt he is.

At the Individual Immunity Challenge, players competed to find unique words from a letter grid.
On the surface, players figured just finding the longest words would suffice. But they soon found that many of them went that route, canceling each other out.

I forgot to send mine in, I had a busier Saturday than usual. I had to take care of my brothers pets, and his don't get along with mine, so I had to drive back and forth to his house in the morning, afternoon and evening. Only 11 miles away, but this is Long Island so it takes over half an hour even on the weekends, grr.

I put Portend and Portends. I mainly tried to go for obscure words regardless of length, like Kine, Tern, and Tensor.

I think everyone will be pretty quiet from here on out. We've reached the point where alliances are probably mostly breaking down and a lot of people are just trying to stay alive.

Episode 8: "I Hate to Bring It Up"

After a successful win, OptOut felt on the top of the world.

"I'm on top of the world!" screamed Opt.

At the camp, awaiting them, was a nice feast. With candles and all! Every player will receive +1 Hunger tonight!
However, they were horrified to learn that they also suffered from a tainted water well for the night and lost 2 thirst as well. Bummer.

Like usual, everyone was quiet leading up to tribal.

Then came tribal.

Scotty eyed everyone as they walked in, and without saying anything, pointed towards the voting dias. Players immediately went to vote.

"I'll get the votes," said Probst.

Probst made several bird calls and a brief flash of feathers flurried into the tribal area. Players began swatting and covering their faces. When the storm settled, Jeff stood holding a jar of votes.

"Wow! That was amazing!" chirped Sorsha.

"If anyone has the hidden immunity idol and you wish to play it, now would be the time to do so."

The tribe all looked in INH's direction, but INH just shrugged.

“Ok. Once the votes are read, the decision will be made and the person will be asked to leave the tribal council area immediately. I’ll read the votes.

She describes herself as independent, out-going and meticulous. In her spare time, she enjoys skydiving, kick-boxing, basketball, and martial arts (she has a black belt in karate).

Chemist may target one player every night to inflict a sickness upon that player, up until the final 4. If left untreated, the target’s food, thirst and energy decrease twice as fast every day thereafter.
Once in the game, during the day, she may gift someone else an extra vote to use during the upcoming night period, up until the final 4. If there is no tribal that night, this action will be refunded. May not target the same person twice in a row in any iteration of night actions.

Your starting wellness levels are as follows:

Challenge #8: Just Smashing!

Break your opponents' plates before they break yours! Each player has 3 plates. When all 3 of a player's plates are smashed, that person is eliminated from the challenge, and they may not break any more plates. The last 2 people remaining will be awarded immunity!

That's right, there are 2 immunities to give out today.

Game moves in 3 rounds...You are to make three different lists:
Your first list is your honest answer to each question.
Your second list is how you think the majority of the group answered.
Your third list is a hitlist of the other castaways from 1-8. '1' being whose plate you want to smash first. Your answers to the questions must only include players still in the game (Jury members are not considered "in the game")
