That happened the first day. It took like all day for the four person team to get their act together, too. The instructions were difficult and we had a 100% no show with zero posts

LOL, yeah, you did not realize sig had totally no showed. And as a group, we had a lot of keystone komedy nyuk nyuk nyuk with direction following on Day One. So it would have felt mean to single out one person for misinterpreting directions when we all had issues in that way.

Especially on answers where 2 people tied for most, that logically means that it could be that only 2 people named either of those names. And we tied for that one. I'm not taking it personally, myself.

I think there were alot of hurt feelings over this, and I am sorry that that is the case. If I had any part in the hurt feelings (I am still not 100 sure how this game worked re the plate smashing; I was trying to win by guessing the answers most people would pick in my opinion) I am sorry.

If it makes anyone feel better, I named myself as the one who who thinks they are less popular than they are, and I named myself as the one most people would thinks as dishonest. I also named myself for another negative category. I viewed you all totally as competitors, and nothing personal was meant or intended, and I assume that is the case straight across the board for all of us.

Oh man, this challenge stirred some stuff up... I only did guesswork on what I thought the group would say and made that my vote as well because our own vote contributed to the majority. I don't believe the majority of the things I wrote- I was literally saying outloud things like "but no one is socially inept". I'm sorry lorab and Golden- it wasn't a malicious intent. I didn't expect to get so many answers right and be smashing plates so often.

It's important to realise that all of these questions were made completely in the spirit of the game. If you were voted to be dishonest, it's because people perceive you as dishonest in the game (and depending on how you interpret that, it could be a compliment). If you were voted to be unlikable, don't think for a second that it's because you're actually not liked. You're all my buddies. Everyone is friends here. Just in this game, maybe not so much.

I'm cool with everyone. I really do hope no feelings are hurt by that challenge. The only way I could answer them was by roleplaying my character within the context of the game instead of answering as 'myself, since otherwise many questions had no answer at all. I'm sure that's how it must be on the real show as well.

It's a bandana around your neck, you can wear it as a headband, you can wear it as an eye mask when you're sleeping on an airplane... I literally wear it as a tube top too. Also you just feel cool, ya know?

Episode 9: "Cold, Bro"

The immunity challenge left it all out on the table.

Everyone had a general idea of what they thought of each other, and where people sat on the totem pole.

"I'm the eagle head on top of the totem pole, I hope!" beamed Quin, with an immunity necklace around his neck.

"I hope I go on an idol run!" said a bemused OptOut, also with an immunity idol affixed around the neck.

"I hope..." pondered a moping DF, "nevermind."

The rain in the night after the challenge started...and never let up. It was torrential, and several players saw that the fire was going to have a hard time lighting if it didn't get to a dry place. Opt, LoRab and Golden ran to the task, and lost an energy for their troubles. But they found a nice outcropping to build a serviceably dry pit for the fire to keep burning!
While they did that, DF and Quin decided staying in the dry shelter was the best thing for them.
But not speedchuck, Sorsha and SVS! The former went swimming, because why not! The latter decided to get some time to themselves exploring around camp.
It's a shame one of them came back sick.

With the nonstop rain, tribal couldn't come fast enough.

Scotty, wearing a large poncho from Disneyland, greeted each castaway with a peck on the cheek.

"Its been raining out here so long, it might as well be Orlando. Ya know what I mean?" Probst joked.

"No. I'm from Australia and don't understand that joke," Golden eyed.

"Oh. Shame," smiled Scotty, "well then enough small talk. Let's get down under with it!"

Players immediately went to vote.

"I'll get the votes," said Probst.

Probst made several bird calls and a brief flash of feathers flurried into the tribal area. Players began swatting and covering their faces. When the storm settled, Jeff stood holding a jar of votes.

"Wow! That was amazing!" chirped Sorsha.

"If anyone has the hidden immunity idol and you wish to play it, now would be the time to do so."

Golden immediately stood up and walked over with the hidden immunity idol around his neck. "Don't wanna take any chances, Probst."

“This is a hidden immunity idol. Any votes cast against Golden will not count.
Once the votes are read, the decision will be made and the players that acquire the highest and second-highest number of votes will be asked to leave the tribal council area immediately. I’ll read the votes.

7 Players: Individual Immunity Challenge[/center]

Outlast your competitors by holding onto a pole as long as you can!

RULES:
This challenge will occur over real time, starting at a previously determined time of 7PM EST
Every 10 minutes you stay in this challenge, you lose 1 energy. When you must lose energy but you no longer can, you will begin losing 1 hunger and 1 thirst when you would normally be losing 1 energy.

Last person holding onto their pole wins immunity and earns a 1 in 6 shot at becoming the Sole Survivor!

If you wish to compete you must say so in the thread at some point before the challenge starts- Bold it or underline it, please; otherwise you will will be removed from contention for this challenge and will incur no energy penalty. Once you have committed to taking part in this challenge, you cannot change your mind.

To manually pull out of the challenge, the player must let the host know by stating so in the thread (discrepancies of judgment will be settled via exact timestamping).
To pull out, simply underline {u}{/u} your post stating something to the effect of Im out or coming down.

If a player does fall off (posting as such) even mere seconds before the next increment, they incur no energy penalty from that next increment. If a player posts that they wish to be removed even a second after that new increment, they will still incur the energy penalty.
Players may die in this challenge, so there will be no ties in death.
