Wilgy has moved his vote back to himself, which I think is just a neutral resting point. If you're trying to say "you messed up my answers" then vote me instead, Doc.

Here's one thought. I know we had some discrepancy yesterday with silencing. Has anyone but Wilgy not checked in yet?

Wilgy: adam-yes, Nifty-no
Did I mess up the big multiple choice one about why you suspect S~V~S?
sprityo, do you suspect Raven, or do you believe Raven is Civ, following the targeting of you last night?
Raven, what do you think his answer will be?

Wigly isn't faking cause Wigly wouldn't do that. Silver might have been faking or actually silenced or just not around.

Exciting! Role claims are juicy for sure.
Wilgy answered Nifty-no to the info question though, so I dunno. I'm actually done for now, I have to go and get dressed and do farm chores and start being productive. I hope someone else can engage with Wilgy and get some answers. Not at the expense of regular thread conversation, of course. Doesn't have to be Wilgy Day.

Typed out a response to LC but you know what? I'm gonna save it to my notes app. I'm not getting lynched today and I don't need to argue myself into getting nightkilled.
@SVS
Do you think "I think you are bad because I think you are bad" is a valid line of reasoning to lynch someone? If a player spent three days trying to lynch another player saying "I think they are bad because I think they are bad" while ignoring most everyone else in the game, would you think they are good or bad? Do you think appeals to common belief result in true conclusions?

Re: Mass Effect Mafia (Day 4)
I said it days ago why I thought you were bad, and nothing has changed. I still think you are bad. LOTS of people seem to think you are bad, but you are still here, as I say. This is how I play. Something catches my eye, I watch that person, (or person since I felt the same about Silver), say my piece and occasionally poke them with a stick. I have nothing new to add.
I have thought you were bad from the get go, and still do.
My main point here is that I would like everyone ELSE to reexamine their thoughts on you, since in reading back, pretty mcuh everyone alive has suspected you at some point, and both the night one and two NKs suspected you ALOT.
So everyone, reexamine your thoughts on Jack. He bad.
Linki~ What does "pretend to know I am town" mean in this context? I am conflicted on Dizzy. I thought her voting pattern yesterday was a bad look for her yesterday. I also found it intriguing that her gif quotient was low until someone brought it up.
But since I believe that the major function of bad teams is WIFOM, I won't discount anything based on the actions of others.

How am I uncooperative other than in my desire to lynch you? I am helping the town at night, and I am trying to play a fair game, which is a town attribute, like in not desiring to lynch you yesterday when it appeared you may have been silenced. Town does not all have to act the same and still be town.Jackofhearts2005 wrote:@SVS

1. I wasn't "trying to get Wilgy to say he suspects you". Wilgy already said he suspects you, and I was trying to discern why.
2. I lost interest in the endeavour when I got frustrated at some seeming miscommunication. I was also becoming slightly suspicious that Wilgy was just messing with me. Plus I had some RL business to attend to.
You are making this stuff way more about you than it was. The only reason you were involved was because Wilgy involved you, but your post here sounds like you think I was pushing your lynch. What's the deal?

I assume fredwood and Nifty are two. I think that's been public enough, although it will take confirmation from one more player for me to fully believe Nifty. Off the top of my head I don't know any others, but I'm not always good at spotting that kind of thing. I'm not advocating that you tell your list or anything. But I like your optimism!

I believe Jack is probably bad. You can go through my posts to the several times I mentioned some suspicion if you like. Looking at them all together just made me go with trusting my gut. My gut has been not too bad lately.
My vote is on Epignosis right now, and I'd vote Wilgy even though he's silenced because I'm badass like that... but if those guys squirm away this lynch, you can count on my Jack vote.

Nifty's the maybe. I think you're good but we're running out of chairs. Luckily, three of your opponents are drunk and a few don't seem to be concerned about being left standing when the music ends.Long Con wrote:Nice, can I be one of them?Jackofhearts2005 wrote:@SVS

Lynching uncooperative Silver with his bullshit nonarguments and nonhunting worked out great. Lynching uncooperative Epi, Dizzy and SVS looks fine to me.
Ya'll are dead in the water anyway with four, maybe five confirmed townies.I'll be number maybe 5 even!

S'not. I'd be 2. LC wouldn't be -1.
Maybe known mafia votes - known town votes?
I don't really care. If he's good, there's no reason to beat around the bush about it.
Silver ISO was an absolute bust. He talked to LC once and discussed/talked to no other players whose alignments I don't already know.

Re: Mass Effect Mafia (Day 4)
Someone put in their "everyones meta on day one" post that Dizzy liked cat gifs. At some point, I asked if that had any bearing on her alignment. Someone else may have, too, I don't recall. There was some discussion that it was not alignment indicative, and then she started posting more with them. If someone mentioned it again I am not aware of it.Long Con wrote:DID someone bring it up? That's what I was referencing here...S~V~S wrote: I am conflicted on Dizzy. I thought her voting pattern yesterday was a bad look for her yesterday. I also found it intriguing that her gif quotient was low until someone brought it up.
... that's what I noticed. I did not notice someone bring it up though. Maybe I told you in our baddie BTSC?Long Con wrote:Happy birthday, Dizzy. But, in all seriousness, I did look back over my Jack suspicions, and:

And, yeah, LOTS of people have said at some time that they think he is bad, but meh. So this is a big part of the reason I keep coming in all drama like and voting for him. Almost everyone has said they think he could be bad, but nobody seems to care, lol.
And I assume Wilgy has voted me again as part of a signalling plan. @Wilgy, I am not sure if my target is told what I did, I would think not. So I did not say, preferring not to total claim, just saying that I did a positive thing for you. I would rather not just full claim if avoidable.

I proofed it and I put the approporiate smilies in the appropriate places.Jackofhearts2005 wrote:Err alignment indicative.
She said she did not have to even read what I said, she just saw all the smilies and she knew.
So things like that can be alignment indicative. They aren't always for everyone, or even for most people. but they can be for some people.
I should say I expect gifs from Dizzy are not alignment indicative. I've never played with scum Dizzy, though, so take that with a grain of salt.

Someone else was involved in it as well, Fredwood.

Re: Mass Effect Mafia (Day 4)
...I said I put as much stock in the lack of gif theory as the Jack is buddying, he must be mafia theory.
I made a joke in passing about gifs and people jumped on it.
Frankly I'm willing to say Nut is about the only person I trust as not mafia. If she's mafia then she is the worst scumpartner of all time. I also don't think Independent Nut is willing to vouch for Nifty...Is she's not vouching for Nifty she should say so, because as of now Nifty is likely Anderson. To further this, if Nut is scum and is so willing to preemptively bus her teammates, there's no way she vouches Nifty.
As to Jack, it's stupid to keep pushing for his lynch. He's survived because he serves a purpose to both town and scum. Day 2 was your best chance to lynch him, see how well that worked out. Now he's definitely not a Reaper, and the likelyhood that he is Cerberus is an outside possibility, but not something I'm willing to pursue further at this point. I never really suspected jack, I've stated there was too much self-preservation opportunism to his game, and that if he was going to be a continuing distraction, it was best to nip it in the bud early. The only person that really pushed the self-preservation opportunism thing was Silver, so it really wasn't a valid concern.
To me the following people are null to bad reads that can be both Reaper or Cerberus:
TSP
SVS
MP
IR
These are the people I'd like more information on. I can forgive some inactivity, but we're at Day 4 and the fact that they haven't strongly distanced themselves from one faction or the other, and that I still have almost no read on them needs to change. Really tired of arguing the possible innocence or guilt of the same players over and over.

Why am I a null to bad read? Why does someone have to distance themselves from a faction to be good?
And I am sorry you are tired of it, but I think he is bad and so I plan on continuing to bring it up.

Re: Mass Effect Mafia (Day 4)
And he's not getting lynched today.
Why are you not a null to bad read? What have you done other then suspect people who are either cleared, or likely cleared?
And really...it's process of elimination...don't act like it's not a valid thing to pursue, that's the wrong tact to take. You've done nothing harmful to either side, and there's nothing you've done pro-town. While it doesn't mean scum, it also means I can't clear you either.
RIght now there are 4 people that I'm comfortable with, Jack isn't in that list, but he's pretty close to it, you're no where near it. You constantly saying he's Bad, with no real argument other then He's bad...other people think so too, isn't really helping your case TBH.
