A gripe I have with Long Con is that he's been vocalising his suspicion of Epi since Day 1, but it was only on Day 3 that he started to discuss it with people who were not Epi. On top of that, he only did that when Sloonei cued him to do so. I don't get the impression he really believes in his case.

It's not a matter of invitation. I would have expected that after 3 in game days you would have sought feedback of some sort on of your own accord. 'Hey x, what do you think about my Epignosis case?' 'What do you think about Epignosis?' These are questions I would expect from someone who was actively trying to validate their suspicion.

I played a LOST Mafia game long ago where Secret Animal Team won the day... there was a Civ member, and a member on each other team. That was the surprise win of the year for sure. I played Doctor Who Mafia here, where one player was like some recruitment contagion, and a new player got recruited every day... it actually made it nigh-impossible for any other faction to win.

If this is how this game is headed, then a) let's not vote for any more Mutiny, and b) what is the game dynamic now, and do we need to lynch speedchuck?

And c) was the Mutiny for 2 restricted to just the people who voted for it, or was it randomized among all living players as the event that won the poll?

Looking over speedchuck's posts, there's nothing that really screams that he didn't join a third alignment, and this post, which is one of his most broad-ranging reads posts, is quite wishy-washy. I could see how being not-Civ and not-Mafia could do that to a man's opinions, but that's a situation where Confirmation Bias is all to likely.

Remember mutiny for 2? I opted in during the day to see what it was. And I have no shame in saying that I wanted to accept the offer that came my way at night because of that.
Unfortunately, I had no internet at all that night. I couldn't accept the mutiny, and presumably let down whoever the other of the two was. The mutiny only works if all selected members agree. So I'd say I have some experience.

If you read my post from Dunkin Donuts on Monday, you'd see this.

And non-civ =/= anti-civ. Also, mafia could mutiny on their team as well, which, if one-night werewolf is any indication, might be helpful.

Maybe mutiny for three is like the mutiny for two was? Really, it's fairly self-explanatory in the name. Sorry I spoiled it, DH. I regret that.

Also LC, I could have done with less of the roll eye snark from you. I was reading at work and couldn't post. I think it is less likely to make speedchuck bad, but he could already be a new alignment and trying to fake us out. Seems kind of silly to draw attention to it if so though because we wouldn't have known otherwise. I'm leaning civ on him. I'm also leaning civ on Epi (but could be wrong) and would have voted Llama last time for whatever that is worth.

Frank and Dorothy are in the front seat. Jeffrey is sandwiched between two very dirty strange guys in the back, RAYMOND and PAUL. Frank is driving very fast and very crazy. Sitting next to him on the front seat is a police radio which periodically blares out police reports. At the lights, when they turn green, Frank lays rubber.

(apropos of nothing)
We may all be killed.

Frank and Raymond laugh at this declaration. Paul's face remains deathly serious.

PAUL
(to Jeffrey)
I'm Paul. What's your name?

JEFFREY
Jeffrey.

PAUL

The car roars through a seedy street lined with bars and clubs. Liquor and sex shop signs glow in hot neon colors. They are blurred visions because of the speed of Frank's car.

Jeffrey remains silent.

Jeffrey struggles against Raymond, fighting to keep him from grabbing his wallet. Raymond takes out a switchblade from his jactet.

Jeffrey stops resisting, and Raymond pulls out his wallet.

Frank sees Dorothy look back at Jeffrey.

Driving music plays. Frank careens dangerously down various narrow streets, just barely making turns. The Ford bounces off several curbs. Dorothy occasionally steals a glance back at Jeffrey. She squeals out loud - sometimes with glee, mostly in fear. The landscape becomes more surburban. The Ford comes to a screeching halt in front of the Beaumont household. Its' windows are dark, and there appears to be no one else out at this time. Frank turns violently around to Jeffrey.

FRANK
What are you lookin' at?

JEFFREY
Nothing.

FRANK
(locks eyes with Jeffrey; long pause)
Don't look at me, Fuck. I shoot when I see the whites of the eyes.
(takes gas)

Jeffrey is quiet.

FRANK

Frank is doing something to Dorothy's chest but Jeffrey can't see.

Frank takes helium.

FRANK
Baby wants to pinch 'em.

She winces and tries to pull away.

Frank pulls her over and starts to pinch her again. It really hurts her and she is frightened and in pain.

JEFFREY
Hey, leave her alone!

Frank pretends not to hear Jeffrey and pinches Dorothy's breasts real hard. She stifles a scream. Jeffrey gets mad. He hits Frank hard in the face.
Everyone is deadly silent as Frank turns to Jeffrey. Frank stares at Jeffrey.

FRANK
NEXT! Out of the car, Fuck! HELP HIM OUT, RAYMOND!

149. EXT. FRANK'S CAR/BEAUMONT HOUSE - NIGHT

Frank gets out and presses his face against the rear window. His distorted face is hideous. He opens the back door. Raymond and Paul grab Jeffrey and pull him out of the car.

DOROTHY
Frank, he didn't mean it. Leave him alone. Come on. He didn't mean it.

FRANK
Shut up. I think...I think we need to sell some girl scout cookies. You got the cookies, Raymond?

Raymond chuckles.

RAYMOND
Yeah, I know what you mean.

He and Frank go up to the doorway of the Beaumont house, and begin banging on the door.

JEFFREY
Hey, what are you doing!

Paul restrains Jeffrey.

PAUL
(whispers in his ear)
I'm Paul.

MRS. BEAUMONT, bleary-eyed and wearing pajamas, opens the door. She's immediately grabbed by Raymond.

FRANK
How d'you do, Miss?

JEFFREY
Mom!

Raymond brings the screaming woman back to the car, forcing her on her knees in front of Jeffrey.

DOROTHY
LEAVE HER ALONE!! FRANK!!

Frank pulls out his gun.

FRANK
(to Jeffrey)
You're fuckin' lucky to be alive. LOOK AT ME!

Raymond pulls Jeffrey's face back so he's looking at Frank. Dorothy and Mrs. Beaumont watch in terror.

FRANK
Don't be a good neighbor to her or I'm gonna send you a love letter. Straight from my heart, fucker. You know what a love letter is? It's a bullet. From a gun, fucker. Once you get a love letter from me, you're fucked forever. Understand, Fuck?

MRS. BEAUMONT
Jeffrey, what on earth is going-

BANG.

Mrs. Beaumont lies dead on the ground. Jeffrey is sobbing uncontrollably. Dorothy is trying to break the window. Raymond laughs and bends down next to Jeffrey.

RAYMOND
You sad about your widdle mommy?

Jeffrey continues crying. Until, suddenly, he grabs hold of Raymond's switchblade from inside his jacket. Looking up at Frank, who's quickly trying to reload his gun, Jeffrey extends and throws the switchblade at Frank's head.

THWACK.

Right in Frank's eye socket.

Spacedaisy has died. She was Mrs. Beaumont, a vanilla civilian.

TheLlama73 has died. He was Frank Booth, a mafia leader.
