Nah, I'm not taking that one on. You're the one who asked eloh to vote for you, and you're currently tied at 2-2 with LC. You have every ability to survive this lynch if you want to.

feels a little rude to lynch a person not here to defend himself, but ive had it happen to myself multiple times and it's just the (bad) luck of the draw i suppose

WTF is with all of the third party hosting crap in people's sigs?
And in light of the remaining minutes to this day, I'm never going to catch up fully, if someone can give me the cole's notes on the big cases?

Re: Welcome to Night Vale Mafia [DAY 2]
The vast bulk of civilians who play mafia never take accountability for anything. So lets not pretend that intentional lack of accountability is somehow a mafia trait. As I've said many times this game and will continue to say, my lack of accountability should, if anything, prove I'm town.

Dom's not crazy - I did accidentally have the poll itself set for Friday, because apparently polls hate me and my schedules. I fixed it earlier today. Sorry for not saying anything!

I make no apologies for voting early. I do it often. I don't have any regrets about it when I would later change my mind. I think it provides certain tactical benefits.

I am also not enthusiastic about speedchuck's vote for Long Con, followed up by someone he apparently suspects. I am hoping to hear more from speedchuck before I vote.

Re: Welcome to Night Vale Mafia [DAY 2]
Is he even trying to get people to vote elsewhere? He defends himself by saying he is exhibiting more townie behaviors than Dom (and Wilgy and Rico). Also doesn't make me feel good about Golden. And if he actually wants to lynch LC, why does he want me to not follow through with my plan of voting for LC? Disregarding if my plan can be easily exploited by mafia, it seems like he wants me to do something else.Epignosis wrote: ↑Thu Jul 20, 2017 8:35 pmI'm not enthusiastic about someone who votes, and then tries to get people to vote elsewhere.Golden wrote: ↑Thu Jul 20, 2017 8:26 pmMeh, I'm not particularly tunnelled on Dom. Tony - your plan wasn't to vote for LC, it was to vote for the second of three possible candidates. I just think you should vote for who you most think is bad.

That's interesting. You'd put inh ahead of Tony?
I also think the 'inh did the curse' thing has merit. So does LC doing it, though. It has to be someone who actually read the game it came from, I don't know who was in that game.

How about this question, epi... with dom, golden and LC alive, would you still vote INH?
Re: Welcome to Night Vale Mafia [DAY 2]
I would. I know INH better than I know TonyStarkPrime (however much anyone could "know" INH- I honest to God PMed him when I saw his location was Lumberton, NC, since Lumberton is 30 minutes from house. He never responded). TonyStarkPrime could be the guy I said he was, but so could a bunch of other people. Hell, let him live long enough and maybe he'll expose himself if I'm right. There's still plenty of mafia to go around.

Dom, I say this out of love. Please step away from the computer. Golden isn't being a jerk or being personal towards you. I think you're misreading his intent, because they're about you. I recognize that's easy to do, to read things personally or assholic when they are against you. But I am not reading Golden's posts that way (and you know I'm quite sensitive to noticing people being asshats in mafia-land). I really encourage you to take a deep breath, and walk away for an hour or so. If you still don't want to play after that, then ask for a replacement. If you are civ, then asking to be lynched will not help those of us that want to continue to play this game.Dom wrote: ↑Thu Jul 20, 2017 8:11 pm lynch me
i don't want to play if this is how we play now.
watch out for timmer never actually catching up. that's classic baddie timmer.
When I come up civ, remember how wrong Golden was. Remember how I was told repeatedly that I had written nothing when I wrote many posts giving well thought out reasons for him being bad
Watch out for INH hiding behind being *quirky*
Watch out Elo pretending she can't read my posts.
I'm toying with the theory that Golden's vote was forced.Epignosis wrote: ↑Thu Jul 20, 2017 8:35 pmI'm not enthusiastic about someone who votes, and then tries to get people to vote elsewhere.Golden wrote: ↑Thu Jul 20, 2017 8:26 pmMeh, I'm not particularly tunnelled on Dom. For the moment, I'm holding off on my vote. If I'm in a position to be able to save someone who isn't bad, I'll vote in a direction to save them (assuming it isn't a matter of 2 people I think aren't bad). All things being equal, I'd like to vote for LC.
linkitis: I really do think he was forced. I can't see Rico changing to another fake curse when he could just keep with the smilies. And I could see a lot of players cursing the player posting with a false curse, for shits and giggles.

Re: Welcome to Night Vale Mafia [DAY 2]
My vote wasn't forced, LoRab. It was intentionally provocative. In particular, I wanted to see how willing certain people were to put their money where their mouth was in terms of their focus on me being bad... I thought it might provoke a reactionary vote against me from Dom, for instance. The fact Dom has held off voting for me despite his clearly emotional reaction towards me is another factor that has me leaning town on him.
