Re: The Great Gatsby [Night 2]
Wilgy, your role does sound cool. And I respect you for gow you're working it for you advanrage so neither side can really go after you. Kudos.
I unlike LC HAVE read through everything more than once. I will be taking time to look at vote patterns. The votes for Day 1 were posted in the thread, I believe. I need to check for Day 2.

Wilgy. You voted for boomslang day 2. Does this mean you think he is civ or baddie? This is not a question about your role and I expect it ti be answered promptly.

Man, you sound so much like one of those pseudo-evil negotiators from the movies.DrWilgy wrote: ↑Sun Aug 06, 2017 10:26 pm Ok, no more haikus. I can't handle it anymore. Idk how the hell Rico posts in gimmick.
Here's what's up. I'm the 3rd party tie breaker. I can win with either civs or mafia, and I'm no one's enemy.
I was waiting until I lynched a mafia to say anything as a sign of good faith towards the civs. Luckily, that happened day one.
I do need to survive for awhile in order to achieve my win condition. I won't say what that is.
As a sign of good faith towards the scum, I will not be hunting from here on out. I will vote day to day in accordance to my independent win condition.
As of right now, I have submitted a random list for who takes priority in a tie. I will not change this list until I die. Speaking of which, I can manipulate ties post mortem. If I do happen to be lynched, I will side all ties in what I think is favorable to mafia. To the opposite, if I'm nk'd I'll side all ties in what I think is favorable to civs (you see how that went with Rico).
To keep myself involved in the game somewhat. I will answer the first 2 questions presented to me from 2 separate players each day phase. I will not share my win condition regardless of question.
Shall we have some fun?
Martini?

Re: The Great Gatsby [Night 2]
Day 3
I wanted to get out of the city. I wanted to see the country where I grew up, but things kept pulling me back.
For example, a noted assassin was killed while trying to investigate the murder of Dr. T.J. Eckleburg. I don't know how she died. The newspapermen said it was accidental, but I know better. Someone wanted to silence her.
nijuukyugou has been killed. She was the one-shot vigilante.
It is now Day 3. You have 48 hours to lynch someone.

Those were pretty standard mafia kills, unfortunate that they both had roles.
I still want to lynch Boom. But I might always want to lynch Boom. Waiting on Long Con to come around. Made, do you have any thoughts?

I agree with the Boom suspicion. A look at his ISO is suspicious to me. The gimmick, the Rico defense, looks bad to me.

Re: The Great Gatsby [Day 1]
Not many posts from DF yet. This one feels like he could be bad, and knows Boomslang is good, and is buddying a little.DFaraday wrote: ↑Sun Aug 06, 2017 8:16 pmI assume because he seemed to come across as defending Rico, who turned out to be bad? I don't really hold that against Boom though, since it felt a little too blatant for a teammate. I'll go ahead and vote Enrique as well, since this game really needs talkers more than not (and yes, I admit I've been part of the problem. We weren't supposed to be on our phones).

Nice to have you around, LC.
I agree that boom looks bad, I do. My only concern is that blooper was killed. Would he do that? This is the only thing that has me leaning DF over boom. But, perhaps they are both bad and boom wasnt around, so DF has veen quiet and DF chose to kill bloops. It could have gone down lile that.

Re: The Great Gatsby [Day 1]
This quote is probably the most relevant one of Made's. I'm trying to decide if it's a post you make to a Mafia teammate. I'm leaning to the 'no' side, but I'd like to hear other opinions.
Otherwise, his contribution is to suggest we all out ourselves. False claims can make that not work, but we don't have proof of false claims. Maybe we can keep that one in our back pocket until later?

Alright, finally back at a stable computer and can respond to things. Such as Blooper's deathLong Con wrote: ↑Tue Aug 08, 2017 12:02 am I agree with the Boom suspicion. A look at his ISO is suspicious to me. The gimmick, the Rico defense, looks bad to me.

The gimmick was because I love Gatsby, nothing more and nothing less; I had to drop it because I didn't have access to a copy while traveling. And it's easy to go after me for defending Rico's gimmick in hindsight, but I after I literally spent all of Night Vale defending him for a gimmick, I think he counted on me to continue that train of thought.
I'm willing to trust Wilgy after he pulled a claim similar to what I did with the Man in the Tan Jacket last time. With a mafia lynch on the first day, I'm sure he's truthful about throwing his hat in with the civs for at least the next few days.

Re: The Great Gatsby [Night 2]
Quick reads on everyone:
Boomslang - As usual, a good guy whom everyone wants dead.
DFaraday - Nothing to go off of but a drive-by on Made and an ungimmicky start-of-game post. Votes Enrique for low-posting reasons, then continues to be part of the problem after saying he'd be back yesterday. Could be bad.
Dom - Terse, healthy suspicion of multiple people. Most recently pushing LC, who hasn't gotten much flak. Probably civ.
DrWilgy - Almost certainly indy, and confidently civ aligned. Not worried about him.
Elo - Immediately goes after me based on "he just always sounds that way to me," then backs off when I actually start posting. Misses the Rico lynch, votes Enrique for low posting. Could very well be bad and pursuing easy targets.
Long Con - Likes Made's idea, doesn't like me, also doesn't like DFaraday. Seems genuinely inquisitive. Likely civ.
Made - Interacts with Rico early, goes after Enrique even earlier. Offers big claim idea, doesn't offer much after it. Dump vote on Enrique, no vote yesterday. Would like to see more; in yellow part of the rainbow.
Neverwhere - Complete no-show. At this point in the game, either bad or non-contributing civ. Nothing in her favor is not a good sign.
TSP - Dislikes Made's idea, exchanges votes with Rico first lynch, wants to lynch me because "I might always want to lynch Boom." The Rico exchange is either masterful first-day bussing or a civ clear, and I'm leaning toward the latter given Rico's genuine frustration over the lynch.

I think I'm gonna vote DFaraday now that the poll is fixed. Just gonna have a last little look around first. Won't take a sec.

Well, guess I'm voting DFaraday. Thanks Wilgy, but not putting my fate in your hands again unless absolutely necessary, lol.

Back. Sorry life is strange.
Rip DF
Things I caught in iso:
I fucks with the vision Wilgy. I don't, however, like the idea of potentially losing a neutral nk, so i'll make the point that should mafia think they're sufficiently town read by wilgy, they could get a nk out of him, and a tie in their favor later in the game.
Dom- help me parse your thought process? I had trouble following your Iso and want insight before I further my current train of thought.
Lastly, Neverwhere is complete no show at this point right? I'm kinda ready to lean civ on that, my thought being then that her would be teammates would pinging the crap out to keep her active.
