I'll have to give it to you. I don't think I've ever seen fake claiming as a civ being used in a good way.MovingPictures07 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 31, 2017 8:44 pm Fake claiming is a legit strategy. I vehemently argue that, I feel done well, it can win the game for town.
Turnip Head and I assisted the cop (Daisy) in Arrested Development with fake cop claims which resulted in Dais being able to singlehandedly solve the entire game.
Fake claiming isn’t without risks, but I can’t fathom why anyone would argue against it in principle.

I didn't read Kyle's post as that odd or pingy.
I figured MP was messing/flirting with you over that vote Daisy, I'm surprised you're taking it that way.
I've got nothing else to add besides the fact that I think either DDL or LC is bad, but not both. The other baddies are either semi active or inactive I believe. I must be off for the time, but I'll be back tomorrow.

I am not telling people to fake role claim. I don't feel the need to tell others how to play. But I am disagreeing with this assertion that fake role claims are bad. And I can both believe fake role claims are good and that people should build cases. There is room for both.

Re: Pirate Mafia [DAY 1]
I am entitled to have an opinion; my opinion is that fake role claims and fake night targets/results derail the thread and confuse town efforts needlessly. I don't have to acknowledge benefits that could work with experienced and when everyone else is on board and everything aligns correctly, with like a 5-10% chance of succeeding. I just think there are better ways to generate conversation, as Quin said was most of the point people do it as well as hiding the real cop... There's literally 1001 other ways to do that.
And anyway, like I said, pointless to keep discussing it and wasting time on this. My opinion or your opinion isn't going to sway how someone is determined to play the game.

I’m sorry I haven’t been able to commit fully to this game. I have had RL get in the way and unfortunately I need to get this proposal stuff prepped ASAP. I hate not being current with the deadline so close but I have no choice. I’ll be in when I can.
On the plus side LCD was epic. The weather was horrific though (50F and raining), and my phone despite having a life proof case got water inside which is why I couldn’t type anymore last night.

Quin, while I hate to fight you on this especially after 3 of the mafia in the Seinfeld game were low-posters, isn't there anyone who HAS contributed itt who you feel iffy about? That person, if someone else and someone third agrees with you on, should be lynched before someone who hasn't yet even had a chance to defend themselves. And that person can also make an effort to defend his/herself and change your mind.DrWilgy wrote: ↑Wed Nov 01, 2017 12:10 pmQuin wrote: ↑Tue Oct 31, 2017 11:49 pmProbably not.
