Similar to the conversation I highlighted between Jay and colonialbob, what do people think of this exchange (and the surrounding exchanges) between Jay and wilgy?

This post seems dumb without the context. Immediately after JJJ's flip we received a fuckload of connections to start making. There were several players who could be linked as possible teammates of JJJ, who had previously been brought up as suspects by many. So it seems weird to me that he specifically and only listed elohcin and me.
I believe Quin named us two on the spot because she and I are were contemporary suspects that aren't on his team.

Yes, but it's more rare here since kills are janitored. Mesk is the only one I could see replacing back in, and she was inactive to begin with so she might be unavailable. Well, we can always ask her.speedchuck wrote: ↑Mon Dec 04, 2017 3:50 pm For future reference, is replacing back into a game a thing? I've done it several times on another site. I haven't seen it yet.
Not that I want to die and replace INH, or that anyone else can. Just wondering.

Epi, whi INH? You seem to place votes on inactives early in the day and then come around EoD to place a real vote on a player you find suspicious. Am I correct in this?

Well that's usually a gray area, but if a role doesn't have much critical information (as in, an investigation result), you can usually just ask the replacer player to hide that information.

It's based on Sloonei's voting patterns (with JJ and Malakim) and Jack's death.
It ignores Sloonei's early scumread of Jack and Sloon's town contributions.
I am also curious what you think of it. Post #3972.

linki: Sloonei didn't vote for Malakim on a different day. I was just checking his reaction if I asked him to vote for a bit. If he had voted, that would have meant something. His refusal doesn't mean much, as it was an unusual request.

I think I'm leaning towards a kyle vote after everything I've read since the JJJ lynch. I spent several days thinking he was civ. But I think I was wrong.
I see some of you are mentioning quin as well. I always seem to get scum vives from him, so I don't like to pursue it much. But I'd be okay with lynching him too. When he is bad, he plays quieter than when he is civ.

This bothers me, because I'm prone to find a few townreads and stick to my guns REALLY HARD on them. You're one of those townreads. You still read town. But it bothers me that you haven't moved against malakim in any substantial way. (I know you already probably responded to this somewhere. This game has too many posts.)Jackofhearts2005 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 03, 2017 1:05 pmNo. You're a suspect to me because
1) I believe Jimmy and Dom/Mal are w/w and you voted to save Dom/Mal. Worse, you did so with no reasoning or conviction.
2) You voted Wilgy with all my other suspects instead of Jimmy or Speed, which no explanation, creating a scenario where the only town read of mine between the three of them was more likely to be lynched as of an hour before EOD.
3) You keep handwaiving the incredibly strong cases against Mal (obviously saved by Jimmy) and Quin (obviously trying to save Mal and then Jimmy and refuses to say why).
I don't actually care one way or another about your vote for Jimmy. If you hadn't voted or said anything at all, the outcome would be the same.
If there's a high-posting mafia member, it might be sloonei.
Was it you who first brought up the "Jay being bussed" theory? (I honestly can't remember, and the game is getting too big for me to want to look.) Introducing that after JJJ got lynched took the focus completely away from you. Could be an interesting gambit for you OR a scummate. As for killing Jack, you're the one scumread he had that nobody else was following. The most likely to slip through the cracks if Jack just disappeared, as everyone else has a townread on you and was basically ignoring Jack.
I was testing in a silly childish way to see if you'd even put a single vote on Malakim for kicks. You refused. You probably refused because my request was silly, but it doesn't give me good feels. Thus,.
Of course that also mostly dependent on Malakim being scum, sooooooooo
It's just that my current view on Sloonei is that his votes look so bad I find it hard to believe a scum Sloonei would make them.

But there's still a lot of Inferred Evidence
pointing to Sloonei being a big mountain, and when I think back to names of players supporting Jay's lynch, Sloonei is the first one.

But why would they think Jack was the person lynched and not Sloonei?dunya wrote: ↑Mon Dec 04, 2017 3:05 pmI think mafia analyzed the day 2 no lynch result (they don't know who Everest is, and neither do the majority of us, but they do know who Sutter Buttes is so that's one advantage over us) and figured Jack must have some important role after we began discussing it a little more yesterday. Why wasn't Jack lynched? Let's kill him. Also he's one of the loudest participants in this game, and has flung shit everywhere it's supposed to and everywhere it's not which is extremely good because it rifles everyone's feathers.Sloonei wrote: ↑Mon Dec 04, 2017 2:49 pm Another question for people who are good at analyzing this sort of thing: Why might Jack have been killed? He was still on a lot of people's radar and has been a controversial figure for much of the game.
He was after myself and Quin most recently, as well as malakim.
The Daisy kill is slightly weird to me though. Maybe they figured out she was K2 from writing style (and opinions).

Maybe not Eloh, actually. One of 3J's biggest lynch targets was Eloh. She's earned some respite through his flip.

It's scummy because a scum quin following a lynch of teammate jay, in a game where his teammates may already under fire, and so many players are difficult to accuse because of the general civvie-trust vibes of the thread, when being asked what his suspects are, might quickly respond with listing two suspected players who aren't on his team.
Why me and Eloh? Why not Cbob or speedchuck or sog or LC. Why specifically list those two players? You weren't specifically asked for 2 suspects.

Because I was asked for suspects and I gave suspects. You and Eloh were my suspects.Kylemii wrote: ↑Mon Dec 04, 2017 5:35 pmIt's scummy because a scum quin following a lynch of teammate jay, in a game where his teammates may already under fire, and so many players are difficult to accuse because of the general civvie-trust vibes of the thread, when being asked what his suspects are, might quickly respond with listing two suspected players who aren't on his team.

Re: Mountain Mafia [DAY 5]
3J's ISO's on Day 4 ended with him giving a conclusive read of some description on every person except for malakim. I'm currently reading into that as though he didn't want to lock himself into any particular perspective.
