The Official "Let's stop saying 'CFD'" Thread

Hey gang,

There's a bad habit some of us have gotten into in recent memory, including myself. I don't mean for this to be a scold or an accusation; it's just an ordinary Mafia term which sees usage all over the Internet. I'd like to suggest that we take the lead as a community to change it. "CFD" stands for Chinese Fire Drill. This comes with a connotation which isn't ideal or appropriate, and it could stand to be remedied.

If it's not clear, the term refers to a scenario in a Mafia game wherein, near the final moment of a voting deadline, a large number of players move their votes from one possible lynchee to a different lynchee. The strategy itself is perfectly reasonable, and I do not intend for this thread to be used to debate that. Instead, I just want to come up with a new term to describe this kind of occurrence which doesn't draw from any racial stereotypes/jokes/etc.

One option: "musical chairs" -- basically the same dang thing.

Any other ideas?

I actually came up with this before I reached this point in the post. It's an apt term.

It's going to be hard to change habit, but I'm up to the challenge.

If we want an acronym that's not "MC", then we could use:
Really Quick Switch (RQS)
Rapid Vote Change (RVC)
Very Stupid Plan (VSP)

Or, my favorite: Railroad Switch (RS, which could also stand for Rapid Switch)
Because it fits with "lynch train" so well.

I had 1 vote and the other two had 3+. I was in third place before Epignosis rightly turned it around.

You are ignoring the ancient times 6 hours before the end of the phase where you were leading the lynch with 5+ votes.

Then I went to bed and woke up to see a surprise Speedchuck lynch near the day end.
