I think his role is something like that and Marmot has weird exceptions (like night actions go through even if the person dies). So that's safe to assume if speed kills the last mafia SOMEHOW through his lynching, the game ends and we win, and the lynch doesn't go through or something.

But do we want speed to take all the glory this late into the game? not me. I'd rather we do it ourselves the good old fashioned way. He seems so desperate for it NOW. Let's get back to him later if we need it.

If I was an active scum, I'd simply not send in a kill. It's not unheard off.

I seriously think nijuu is the last scum though and she either forgot to send in a kill, intentionally didn't send one in to make the other inactives look bad, or targeted someone who was protected last night.
