Vocaroo Too! Mafia is a sequel to JaggedJimmyJay's Vocaroo Mafia, in which participants record themselves, either upload their recording to Vocaroo or record directly on the site, and post the link to their audio in the thread. Other than a reasonable hyperlink name, no written posts are permitted.

Here's a five-and-a-half-hour Mafia thread:

The people have spoken (ha) and this will be a closed setup.

I am seeking thirteen participants.

Role-claiming and info-dumping are legal.

Days will be 48 hours and Nights will be 24 hours.

All on-topic posts must be in the form of either recorded or uploaded audio on Vocaroo, which is a free website. The only text permitted are a few words to serve as the link (see the greeting above as an example).

but if this is running between Jan 23 and Feb 3 then I can't play sorry. I have a guest staying with me and it will be impossible to give this game the attention I want to give it. Otherwise, I'm set.

but pls don't run it in that timeframe Epi. It's been my dream to play a vocaroo game

Dunya and Juliet bullied me into signing up, I fully expect to get lynched day one because I am always nervous and awkward to the point where it's a miracle that I can function at all.

For those who don't have as much time at a computer to record, there's a phone app called SpeakPipe which functions pretty well for this purpose. I used it a bit as the host of the previous game.

I can't use my phone either for most of the day. I think you guys would rather play the game with lots of continuous talkers rather than a guy who pops in at the end of the day with a pre-written spiel.

I will be a replacement, though. A couple hours a day is better than a completely silent player.
