Unlike what transpired in Mountains after Epi lynched Jay, this reminds me of RadicalFuzz in vocaroo mafia, when he refused to budge on me. I said it there and I'll say it here, no one should feel that confident about anyone being Town on Day 2 without BTSC.

Re: Mortal Kombat Mafia [Night 2]
I actually voted an hour earlier than i usually do.
I voted for sig because I liked the case. I also just liked that there even was a case? I agreed that sig seemed to be lacking in moving content and his reads on LC seemed disjointed.
I didn't really see the case on TonyStarkanine (another cool name I didn't get to use ) even after my ISO, and DrWilgy didnt have any votes at that point, nor did any of my other personal suspects like Elohcindaquil
I guess I could have placed my vote on one of those players anyways as a statement or whatever since sig was getting lynched regardless but I really just.... wanted that day to be over.

Because IDK, the Sig lynch seems like something I'd do as scum. No one would blame me for anything because of the chaos realm, and I'd be praised for my boldness. But then, I am practically the bartender as mafia, placing Wine In Front Of Everyone.
Sig was hardly posting without the chaosrealm around, which is normal. Sig was waffley, which was normal. Sig was 'buddying' LC (I have yet to figure out what the heck buddying has to do with being mafia, or when it applies.)

I this really true these days? If so,JaggedJimmyJay wrote: ↑Sun Jan 14, 2018 6:51 amIn a vacuum, absolutely yes. Mafia members slank off more in general, and when the universe hands them an excuse to do it free of judgment, many of them are going to be very pleased -- even those who've been under some pressure. Also consider the character of Quin's involvement in this period of connectivity issues: is he merely fending off accusations and assure survival, or is he attempting to solve the game?MacDougall wrote: ↑Sun Jan 14, 2018 6:46 am Generally yes but in this context in particular? Re: Mortal Kombat Mafia [Night 2]
I don't think I have seen scum dunya since about 2014 (or whenever Loneliness vs. Cheese was). I don't know if "ballsy" is the right word for what she was then though. She was active and effortful, and she did take risks -- but they were calculated and necessary risks. I don't think there's a reliable parallel to be drawn for this purpose.speedchuck wrote: ↑Thu Jan 18, 2018 3:13 pmHey JaggedJimmyJay. Mountain Mafia was one of my best town games I've ever played.
I was so good it lost me the game.

Have you played a non-Vocaroo game with me as town?

He's sort of doing the thing that some have asserted mafia-replacement-dunya would have done -- catching up at his own gradual pace, biding his time, and not commenting on anything of note along the way.
I can't think of a compelling reason to give him civilian credit at this point. That should be a familiar place for him.

I don't think the Vocaroo connection is meaningful.

I think his effort to solve the game has looked authentic and been productive. A loner role is plausible, but I don't have any inspiring reason to assume that.

I was disappointed that Made didn't take more advantage of having what was, imo, a much easier curse. He wasn't limited by what he could and couldn't say. He could have spoken freely, but he ended up mostly complaining about how bad the thread was.

To be honest, neither do I. I’m probably more acquainted with Sig’s game than anyone here and in my judgement, I saw nothing that suggested to me he was Mafia. Indeed, I regret that I didn’t do more to defend him but considering my limited availability at EOD and the speed with which that train developed, any attempt on part to have save him would no doubt not have been very effective. @Sig: Sorry, Buddy

TBH, I don't think this was enough pressure from Sig for you to need to vote and shut him up. You're probably the only one who thinks that.
You preemptively bringing up that accusation and giving it weight is odd. Alignment indicative, one way or another.
I think it looks towny. Anyone else?

That's not to say I believe Long Con is scum; I don't. I have a good town read on him based on intuition and slight meta having played with him in 4 games now? He was scum in 1 and town in the rest.

If he is scum, he's the terrifying sort. Let's hope if he is scum, he'll fall true to his own disdain of lurking mafias and we can get a better read on him. Lurking scum teams are the shittiest; it's not a strategy if you do it intentionally, it's pathetic imo.
