I don't like this. It's almost like Jay used the opportunity to vote Daisy, delaying a lynch that he'd already set up.
That's what I always think when I see preemptive D2 planned votes, especially from big players that usually try not to tunnel. This could shut down discussion, and it highlights the delay while seeming apologetic about the lynch.

If anybody has a better way to describe this ping, feel free.

Quite a lot of low-hanging fruit in this POE.

I am of the opinion that at least one of JJJ, Epi, and Sloonei are scum. I don't know which one. Or if it's the only one. Another scum is hiding among the others that have been around, and we probably have one low poster scum. No basis for this other than how the game has gone.

I'm going to try to narrow down my three candidates on that.

I have a wish: It would be super helpful if people could either bold and color who they are voting when they do, or at least say it explicitly in thread. I'm not used to the votes only being available in the poll, and sometimes players say stuff like "I moved my vote" or just don't mention it at all, and it makes it difficult to track votes when reading back. Day ends like 5 or 6 in the morning for me, and for how my days are now I rarely would be able to be around at that time. This is not me trying to dictate anything, but if you remember it I think it would be really helpful to make it explicit when you are moving your vote.

At first I was almost convinced by Sloonei's case, but as time went on I had the same reaction that Nut did, in that Sloonei seemed to be a bit too stubborn. I also don't think what he calls out as contradictions really are contradictions. I guess I like Sloonei less after this, but I'd place him null. I don't think he has to be scum.

The Daisy lynch was rather random. I mean, easy to say in hindsight, but really. There were other low poster that would make better lynches. But oh well.

@Sloonei - Pretty sure I asked you before what you thought of JJJ's initial reason for reading Kyle as town. The reason about him being angry and talking about JJJ's play as lacking respect. I talked about this too. I don't remember you commenting on this at all?

Sloonei and Kyle are both like ugh to me.

I find I most align with reactions from Speed and Nut. I'd go with them as town. MacDoug strikes me as town too.

And there's still a lot of players that aren't active at all. And I wouldn't be at all surprised if more than one scum are among those. >_>

Looking back, that is true. It was unintentional - I like to cut down quotes to the part I'm responding to for easier reading, and I lost that relevant part and reacted to just my slice. Kyle said that it's 100% false before the part I analyzed.

well to summarize it, I expect Sloonei to ride around on his bike throwing rocks in people's spokes. Always trying to get their wheels to skip, to see if their mafia baseball cards fall out of their pockets. Similar to how early Jay operates but with a different composure and also his name is blue. He puts out his tentacles and feels shit out, asks people probing questions, gets people involved when they aren't involved. That's how I see him at least.

I haven't seen those things yet.

Aside from this, my passions have cooled a little bit since EOD and I'm feeling more suspicious of Epi at the moment. I'm sort of stuck having to decide which one of Epi and Sloonei I want to commit to thinking is bad, and right around EOD I was really hyped up against Sloonei but now I'm leaning back toward Epi based on the discussion about him since EOD. My priority was going to be lynch Sloonei next and if he's town lynch Epi next, but I think I'm switching that priority now since Epi seems more likely.

um i want to point out that when i say things like "incredibly disrespectful" or "i can't respect that decision" it's not really a legitimate human moral judgement that i'm making. when i said before that i didn't respect what i viewed jay's tactics to be, it was more of a "wow, dick move, dude" thing than like a "i think less of you as a person, and also you're dead to me" thing. i tend to use hyperbole a lot and sometimes it makes me sound more serious than i actually am.
