Linki: Epi, I am reading alongside of playing an rpg
What rpg?
Sorry for delayed response, it was the Syndicate Trek Sim, and it ran really long tonight. We usually are pretty promtp but it was a sort of off story arc mission so yeah.
Clearly juggling two things was not cutting it for my brain.
Spacedaisy wrote: ↑Sun Jan 21, 2018 1:13 am
We actually just wrapped up a few minutes ago.
Did the person really die that time, or was it a cop-out?
Uh no, we did a one off mission that was outside of the current story arc. So it was unrelated to that tonight. Our game director couldn't be here so Sokoth just ran it.
Johnny's fate still hangs in the balance.

Kyle's inebriation is mild point in his favor for me. He had to fight and claw his way to coherently express his desire to choose a side. drunk mafia kyle could have just thrown a vote and laughed like a rotten child on an anthill.
No yeah, forgot about the concert. That makes sense.
What are you doing in the mafia game Kyle? You're at a concert.
(Disclaimer: I'm not familiar with drunk posting or drinking. I have never drunk. All I knew is that this is the first time I've seen Kyle doing it, and we were at a critical juncture)
This concert has chairs and no dance floor, so I can be shitty concert pattron on my phone and get away with it.
I want to clarify that my vote for spacedaisy wasn't a vote *against* space daisy 2 (the sequel to space daisy) but a vote for "I am not in a state to decide between these two players whom o have inadequste reads on, hopefully the rabbi is
The townsfolk stormed the local police station, demanding justice.
"We're doing everything we can," said one officer. A random soldier moved to escort the mob out.
"That's not enough!" the Rabbi cried, shoving the random soldier through a nearby wall with golem-like strength. The random soldier was crushed by the rubble.
Lorab has been lynched. She was Random Soldier.
It is now Night 2. You have Twenty-THREE hours to send in your PMs.
She was already in my lower tier, and once it hit me what was actually being suggested she moved onto Jay with me, tying him up with three votes. It suddenly felt very bad, so I moved to her.
Linki: It looks like she chose well where to put her vote ultimately though!

LoRab's treatment of speedchuck is worth looking into. He was her secondary suspect, and the reasoning behind it was particularly weak. He cast one of the votes against her though, which is a pretty good look.

Marmot - did not like the unwillingness D1 to put a vote somewhere that mattered. Also possible distancing from Dizzy, who is down there. The one thing I can read good on is his frustration in the topic, regarding 'shitty' lynches. As Dizzy noted later in the game, Marmot has done a lot of defending himself. But he's also not been shy about it.
I go back and forth a LOT when reading through his ISO. Could be scum. In no way is that ruled out. I'd rather lynch any of the four people below.
Why does it matter that I don't move my vote on request? That's the neat thing about votes; they're owned by the player who casts them (usually).
I'm not talking about voting on request. I'm talking about what you did with your vote, and how useless it was. I'm judging you. That's the neat thing about reads, they're usually owned by the player who has them.
You're judging me because you thought my vote was useless huh. Mind telling me which vote that is you're talking about?
I think nutella looks good for having freaked out all over the tally to end the day phase, ultimately landing on LoRab. She didn't have to, especially not when her hated Sloonei was driving it.

Talk about why you voted for him instead of her.
I understand the questions and prompts. They're irrelevant, but I don't expect you to understand that. I encourage you to hunt to your heart's desire elsewhere and to continue thinking it all over, and if you still care about this later in the night phase you feel free to bring it right back up.

Does this result change your feelings about Long Con at all?

I don't know much yet about how the LC/LoRab interaction will shake out. As of right now I have little reason to read him in a better light. It should be noted that he self-preserved in the tally and she did not.

It was not. I was going to bring this up as well. I have a yucky feeling about it.

Can someone summarize LC's case against Speedchuck? I missed it in my read through and would love the gist of it.

Well, we already know I'm suspicious of Epi. Looking at LC's post on speedchuck, his main point against him was that he jumped on the kylewagon and then didn't let go--which is simmilar to what he did here. So, that makes me eyeball him more. Wilgy? I have no idea. He's Wilgy. 3J I don't suspect for this.

What do you think?
I think that the substance of your Epignosis suspicion is unclear. I see that you are suspicious of him, but I don't quite see why. Could you talk more about that?
I'm also not sure what to make of your speedchuck suspicion here. what is the relationship between Long Con's case against speedchuck, speedchuck's pressure of kyle, and speedchuck's involvement in this nutella bandwagon?
My suspicion of Epi is that he's going after players in a way that he does when he's bad, particularly when he's bad in a speed game--I've tried to explain it a few times now...not sure how to differently articulate my feelings.
And my suspicion of speedchuck, based on his jumping on the LA bandwagon, coupled wit LC's case--which I read as, essentially, jumpting on the kyle bandwagon--show a pattern of behavior which I don't see as civ behavior. Does that make more sense?
Not a lot here. LC never mentioned her until his self-preservation vote right before the deadline. LoRab only mentioned LC indirectly, using LC's case as justification for her fake suspicion against speedchuck. This is a good look for speedchuck, and I'm undecided on how it makes me feel about LC. would scum player #1 use a fake case by scum player #2 in order to bolster a bandwagon against a supposed civilian? Or is it more likely that speedchuck and long con are both civilians, and LoRab is seizing this opportunity to pile onto an erroneous, but genuine, suspicion? My gut says the latter is more likely, but I'd like discussion on this.

Don't hmm me. Spit it out.
It's self-evident. There's not much more to it than "I notice you were the only player to end up voting alongside the now confirmed bad guy."
Care to comment?

200 posts were made in the 20 hours before I made that post. More than that number were made in the final 4 hours of the day phase. Clearly a lot more happened when I wasn't around.
Also the fact that my vote happened to sit next to a flipped mafia member is coincidental. And to add what I said above, I was not around to move my vote (which I would have given the tie), so I don't think the placement is meaningful at all.
