When someone comes into the thread all like "did we lynch any mafia yet?" I get all bothered. If he had mafia teammates, he would know if any were lynched almost right away. Plus, it's info that he can look up quicker than we can answer. Felt more like WIFOM to me than an honest question.

If his question was a less specific "what'd I miss" it wouldn't have bothered me. Instead, we have a WIFOM-y question that says "I don't know who the mafia are" buried in a bunch of other questions, some of them reasonable, some of them pretty bad. "Dunya's in the game? Did she die?" Look at post #1.

But this might just be me overthinking things. Asking questions and feigning ignorance is something I'd do as mafia.

I misdirected you into misdirecting a kill onto us. And then we lost a lynch coin toss. And then you misdirected me into a PGO or something.

The first one was a total accident. I was aiming the lightning rod at your teammate, who misdirected me into you, who caused me to misdirect your other scummate kill into you.

The second one was me misdirecting you into Link, who nexused your kill into yourself, which was not even a little bit an accident.

For every absolutely stupid lynch I lead, I pulled some awesomesauce ring slinging and saved the day. Lamplighter is the best hero ever and even if I totally screw up this and every other game I play in, nothing can ever take that beautiful Hybridity win away from him.

The way I see it, TSP was working on subtly redirecting suspicions in the aftermath of the Dunya lynch, and I don't like the direction he tried to take it in.

I don't want to be a 'kick you when you're down' kind of guy, but...

What if you're wrong here? If you're town, and 100% believe nutella is bad, this almost makes sense. If there's any chance less than that, the two mislynches here would put us in freefall. Do you honestly think there's a 0% chance nutella is town? Especially considering that the Dunya block has been sort-of discredited by Ermac, or at least given a lot of reasonable doubt.

If you're scum and trying to make sure that your death buys a mislynch, this makes more sense, but that's not the point. (Also we're totally lynching in Simon/JJJ tomorrow)

Here's a rainbow with some light thoughts I have on players.



Glorfindel - Apparently he survived a nightkill. And also he doesn't lie. These bode well for Elf-dude.

Jackofhearts2005 - I like Jack and his efforts. I've not analyzed his content though, partially because I've trusted him and partially because I hate analyzing posts. He's been the most staunch player in scumhunting. And also, he's like really good at mafia.

nutella - Similar to Jack, I've put nutella on my trust list. But the reason is slightly different in that she seems comfortable and aggro in this game, something I don't associate with her mafia play.

DrWilgy - I don't have a read on DrWilgy at the moment. He posted more content before the Day 2 insanity than he has since.

Elohcin - My main qualm with Elohcin is that she has bothered to check in and post everyday, but hasn't said much about the game itself. I don't think that's alignment indicative, nor do I want to judge her on a sucky irl situation (get well soon love!), but I wish she would offer more insight.

JaggedJimmyJay - Apparently silenced today. I don't think we should lynch him. We'd need a solid case for him being mafia, because I don't see a reason to lynch him after his claim. Do I think he's town? Unlikely. Something to consider in light of his claim is that he made it directly after dunya, a player he trusted and didn't want lynched, was lynched.

Kylemii - One thing that jumped out to me about Kyle is this post. How could Jay and I be working together unless we were on the same mafia team? But I guess you think Jay is mafia, so :/

lapluie - Two things I don't like about lapluie. One is that she didn't have much to offer in the first couple days of this game. Second is this post. I thought lap was suggesting info on dunya, with the bolding of the word "firmly", and the confidence in the read. That was clearly wrong, and now we're down a civilian dunya.

Dave - Who is Dave? I have no reason to think Dave is a civilian. Even moreso than Simon, he's a good option for a vig kill because there is zero content. Simon has at least shown his head.

Dom - Dom... Is another vig option. Wow that sucks that we have several decent options for that.

Long Con - This guy needs to be moved by something. Is the current situation not enough? Civilians are dropping left and right. His commentary today has revolved around myself and Jay, and nowhere else.

Made - 61 posts on Day 1. 5 on Day 2 when he was cursed, and 8 more since then. This post pings me. I found two players Made was strongly suspicious of Day 1. One of them was Mac, who is dead. Coming back three days later and looking at the only player left on that list strikes me as lazy. I want to hear more from Made.

Jack has stated multiple times "Imma be mad when you flip civ."

He's preemptively setting the expectation of failure. This is likely due to him knowing my alignment but still wanting to push my lynch.

Perhaps I can see this because I know my alignment. If getting lynched and flipping is needed to confirm my suspicion on Jack I'll die for it. I am convinced that Jack knows my alignment already though.

but that's exactly it, I can't see what you're seeing because you have one point against Jack and haven't really discussed the rest of Jack's content.
