Simon is the easiest bus on the board for any of his teammates. That's close to meaningless to me. Also note that he was asking people to move who would have never done so, after an entire day of debate and argument. He asked Glorfindel to move. That was never happening. I think he asked you to move. That was never happening.

Agreed with Jimmy it was never going to happen.

Could see a Kano thinking we were about to lose with Jax/Sonya still alive and doing his darndest way too late to switch the lynch....or it being fake.

It was pointed out somewhat late in the day that we were potentially at MYLO. Need to check if Marmot posted between then and his last min push. If so, fake. If not, null.

kylemii's persons of interest for today, day 6:

marmot: I decided before my death that jay was either mafia or kano, at the point of my departure I was unsure. the possibility still remained that marmot was actually the real kano and jay was fake-softclaiming. Jay not only put forward legitimate seeming scum-hunting effort (indicative of Kano) but also accused Marmot, and is pushing for his lynch which I feel would be an outstandingly bad choice to make if he were the one faking.

lapluie: I distrust their tone I guess. they seemed overly shocked and outraged when I died even though I have arguably been the most useless of the commonly town-read players. I also don't trust the strong insistence in following Jade's information, even after it was explained that trackers are only reliable and have a high chance of misfire. glorfindel's final read is the biggest thing that gives me the most cause for pause.

nvn: was a popular suspect for a while, it's weird that we just stopped talking about them. I guess we've been distracted by other stuff, and also I don't remember exactly what the case against them was, aside from having a suspicious lack of activity. they also insisted on putting weight into the Jade information, and I don't trust that.

elohcin: I can't get out of my head the difference in her behavior between this game and previous games we've played together. it's possible my perception of what a civ elohcin should look like is skewed, but I want her to remain under the microscope

i made note of it because at that moment I was working under the assumption that jay had a 50% chance of being mafia, and a flagrant mafia jay implied an already winning mafia team who might feel casual enough to be pretty relaxed about their reactions to things.

Counter points: it also seems like you've been more comfortable in general since the chaos day, maybe you just naturally have a tendency towards verbally emoting that I didn't notice til now. moreover, glorfindel died believing you to be town and i believe his reads have a significant weight.

Jimmy made a good observation on marmot how it could just be an act he wanted to lynch Simon, it could be true. Maybe he wants us to trust him that hes not on their bad side. But I didn't really trust marmot, I remember him wanting longcon dead & then asking others to vote longcon with him, I know I wanted to lynch longcon then because if his behaviours of voting polls without specifying reasons at the time, but I dont think he had any reason to vote other than me or other players telling him so? he just wants to vote for anyone it seemed like to get a lynch.Correct me if I'm wrong marmot. but yeah he's on my bad list.

I think lap could be bad. I know Simon voted for her "randomly" at one point and that may make you think she is pretty much confirmed civ. But her reaction to that was too cool. She gave a little post about it and then dropped it. I mean, I guess she knew it wouldn't get her lynched, but still. Maybe the baddie team was coaching Simon on what it means to distance and that was the way he chose to do it. Then, she pushed hard for a nutella lynch over Simon. In fact, now that I type this out. Then there was her certainty about TSP's reads! That was SO pingy. These things with the vibes I was getting from her in the very beginning of the game before my migraine sabbatical make her one of my top suspects.

Kyle, I see in your post that you suspect lap as well, but that Glorf thinking she(?) is civ causes you to rethink. So, obviously Glorf was civ since he was night-killed. But why does his opinion causes you pause? Civ's can be wrong. Am I missing something?

in summary, glorfindel's view on lapluie changed overnight. he went from believing lap was definitely mafia and a top priority for lynching to believing they were definitely civ literally overnight. Iirc there wasn't any real in thread reason for him to change his view on lapluie during that time frame so it's possible his view was changed by a night action.

Glorfindel was highly suspicious of lapluie until I talked it over with him. He seemed convinced by my arguments in her favor, though I was still surprised by his level of confidence in her after that point. I'll have to determine whether a night phase ended somewhere during that period to facilitate his having received information.
