I'm just frustrated because this whole thing was perfect, and now the guy who has no stake on either side has to make an arbitrary decision that doesn't affect him, while I'm just sitting here breaking rules in a way that doesn't help me in the first place. Of course, I don't think about whether or not the rules say I can role claim. If I'm scum, why would I think about that? I obviously can't claim, right?

It's just the perfect storm of bad luck and prior experience screwing me over.

Speeds comment about "avoiding an awkward tie" probbbbbably implies that they have 2 negations today, but even more importantly than his actual words, if they only had 1 negation today his gambit would be pointless suicide, especially if he was counting on me voting with civ interest.
