This is such a neat idea! OMG DP - I never would have imagined you sounding like that! IDK what I imagined you sounding ilke....it's just different I guess. It's cool how it helps complete the mental picture I have of you though.

I will most likely not be posting what I sound like however. I'm not really a super fan of my voice.

I like your voice! Especially because it means you or I have called to have a chat and I love those!

Also, my iPad does not support in browser recording apparently. Perhaps I will record a blurb over at Socky's place next time I am there.

born in ohio seals the deal - in fact - I think I tole him ages ago he was an honorary buckeye for that alone. That said, we'd take northern Kentucky before West By-God any day for sure!

I was surprised by your voice Timmer, not sure what I expected though, lol. And I was surprised by LT's voice too. I knew you are British LT but I just didn't expect your voice. And I did not notice a discernible southern drawl in it.

Also, MP was laughing at me, but he is incredibly sweet in general. We laugh at/with eah other a lot. But I always think my voice sounds all nasally and chipmunk-ish, so we were both laughing at my ridiculous recordings.

You have a sweet voice, I have always had a deep voice. I decided to only record once, and i did. I think I managed to keep the New York out, but i will do it again one day after a few drinks when i really get my Brooklyn on

And I loved your recording and your voice, can't believe you managed it one take! My first take sounded all sing songy. I have an unintentional habit to kind of sing my words. You can still kindof hear it in that recording I posted. I'm just a weirdo, lol

@ svs - I still here just the faintest hint of brooklyn - but then, I always hear it when I talk to you. Sometimes it's loud and in charge - and sometimes it's just under the surface. I like both SVS's tbh. Both of them are all New York - and all wonderful

(though no pict of me will have a guitar and I fear that it'll be only half a pict without my guitar. That I don't have anymore. And I never really did learn to play when I had it - and everyone guest in my house who *did* play guitar hated trying to play it cuz it would never stay in tune...) I half wanna just find one of the ones I liked on HV and link it - but I know other picts have happened that I don't hate and the rest of you haven't seen. Just takes me time to get my pc stuffs up to par.

This thread is a really good idea! I think we should do this EVERYWHERE!!! It's been really fun hearing all of you too.

I do a lot of weird/funny voices/accents IRL (because I'm weird... I guess?) and so Dex was telling me I should do one of my weird voices on there just to see what everyone would say. I couldn't bring myself to do it though.

Also, that's funny you say that, that would have been classic. Robert/Epignosis did that very thing to me when we talked on the phone for the first time years ago. He completely pulled a "Sup motherfuckin' nigga?" and I was just thinking to myself for the first second or two, "This is seriously his voice?", and then realized he was pulling an accent on me, lol.
