my power being misdirected would only cause a fail if I ended up targeting Wilgy the pirate and even then it's possible my power would reverse his and make him easier to hit than more difficult. of the blockers that were active last night, there's Mac, who was civ and vocally townread me, then there's colonialbob who claims to have misdirected quin last night, and iron dwarf who, as of last phase, claimed he's never targeted me.

it's possible the mafia has a secret block or misdirect ability. I'd assumed their secrets abilities would be passives or one shots or other things that aren't already duplicates of role powers they could have drafted. but even if they have a secret block of some kind there's too many players with pro town abilities who failed their actions last night, even if we account for the mafia having a secret block.
