When using targeted abilities, you may only target people on your tribe.
Either

1. The mafia are all on the other tribe
2. The mafia's killer is on the other tribe
3. The mafia are allowed to send in a kill as a team and just didn't want to kill anyone from over here
4. Two or more mafias exist and the one over here got blocked

Am I missing anything?

He's OK to vote for now because mafia don't have to have principles when they vote they just need to put names on lists.

I'm actually in a particular position today where getting lynched might prove me town, even without an alignment reveal.

That apparently means jack squat when compared to my second life, otherwise I'd consider it.

hmmm I'm having a lot of trouble sorting out how I feel about most players here. I might try to make a rainbow at some point but I'm lazy and waffling a lot. like... I keep finding myself wanting to believe speed's defenses but some of the points against him have looked really strong. :ponder:

I'm willing to vote for anyone in the four that I mentioned.

Dom is the one that I want to see more from at the moment.

Granted, Dom isn't the only one who dissed my beautiful rainbow. I forgot he did that. Are you sure that wasn't DH? Regardless.

If you've got a single reason for me not to vote Dom, please provide.

But no, they had a lynch as well.

I am thinking there was a failed nightkill on Pikaside.
How do you know this?
I am making assumptions.

Describe to me what their tribe is doing if not lynching anyone.
That doesn't read like an assumption to me.
well this sounds like it could be a slip in that speed really sounds like he *knows* the other tribe had a lynch, but like... there could be civ BTSC across the tribes right

Effective immediately, requirements for voting in the thread have changed.

Instead of using the vote tag, please vote in dead red like so:

VOTE XXXXXXX

It doesn't have to be on a separate line and, if you're required to post in a particular way, should be consistent with that requirement! You must still use the word aubergine somewhere in your vote post, but it can be in small font if you choose.

I beg your pardon, but now I've got to use dead red to vote, vote in the poll, AND type the eggplant word?

Whatever happened to just voting in the poll?

Having to do all of those tasks makes it very difficult to cast last-minute votes.

Your vote in the poll will count, provided you make the searchable post. You don't have to make the searchable post before the poll ends, provided you do it in a reasonable time frame.

Now I am going to make something very clear - time for the complaints about voting requirements in the thread to end. Full stop. If you have things to say, PM the hosts, but at this point I've changed it once, I won't change it again. If you have any complaints about that, take them to the Facilitator. This is the kind of stuff you take to PMs, people, I'm really not amused by all of the moaning in the thread.

I'm not complaining or moaning. If I want to vote with four seconds to spare, I believe I should be able to do that. The "reasonable time frame" you mention alleviates my concerns.

If I'm going to complain against anyone for this, it's DH. :meany:

The all caps, grey/black color scheme is jarring to my eyes and unpleasant. I really don't want to keep talking about it. Can we not.

Awwwww yeah, off the poll and playin' with soul! Long Con!

So DH, that "slip" thing was weird and I suspect you're not done with it yet. First, Speedchuck's possible slip happens in front of everyone, then it gets discussed, THEN you reveal that you saw a slip that might happen again, then you vote for Speedchuck. Excitement, she wrote!

Do you believe Speedchuck baddie-slipped? I think I've seen less incriminating slips that were real, this one doesn't look great. I guess, as nutella suggested, he could have Civvie BTSC across the dimensions. It did look like he knows, not assumes, what's going on over there.

If this were a slip that I wanted to use in a case against Chuck I would have done that but this slip is one I'd rather monitor further before commenting on. Just put that "I found it" post out there as a flagpole to come back to.

I guess I can eliminate the following options:

colonialbob -- immune I guess
Long Con -- off the poll
sprityo -- I am very confident he's town
S~V~S -- votes against her presumably won't count

And I think I most likely won't vote for Epi, I think he's civ though not quite as confident as I am on sprityo.

That leaves DDL, DH, Dom, Quin, and Speed.

DDL and DH are high contributors, I lean town on them but I think there have been a couple things that made me feel iffy about each of them, but unless something convincing comes up I'm much less likely to vote for either of them than any of the remaining three. Dom I never know what to think of, he could be anything. Quin... idk, kinda suspicious from yesterday but I'll have to reread. Speed, I'm really waffly on, there have been some really good points against him but I have found his points in defense pretty compelling.

So it's probably between Dom, Quin, and Speed.

Good Morning Syndicate. Everyone's favorite voice on the radio here to congratulate you on a successful Day One. I have high hopes to continue bringing you broadcasts to our little tribe in the coming days. That is, figuring I myself am alive by the end of tonight. Lots of content coming out of a small cluster of people, some of you slackers better pick it up. This is the game of all games afterall. Im looking to you Dom, DragonDLuffy, Quin, ColonialBob, nutella, and sprityo. A few of you more so. It is in my opinion that with Twenty Three players, and us owning eleven. We should have about two mafia members among us. As the new Day comes upon us, let us remember to not becoming paranoid and hunt the players that are helping us. This is Cecil signing off for the night.
I'm not assuming Cecil is Civvie. It's a pretty good baddie role to have, if you can convince the public you're Civ through it. And come on... PLAYER SALAD, right?

Agreed, but what are we going to do when two or more people show up with a haiku on their lips? :srsnod:

Expound upon this. Why should I care whether Bloops is a Night 1 target or not? Who would target her N1, in your estimation? Mr. "Don't just say stuff"

Decide which haiku
spewer is the true spewer
and which spews falsely

do this based on
your suspicions in the game
