But you recognize the difference between you and DH don’t you? Like you’re not hell bent on one person and are open to discussing and looking everywhere without prompts

First impression as I browse DH's ISO is that I agree with Epignosis' opinion that... how did he put it? "I cannot point to a single opinion DH has that I don't think he'll change his mind about if the environment of the thread suits him."

It's a different kind of challenge to analyze haiku posts.

I guess I could focus on Fire Emblem?

Dom has seemed towny to me all day. But his vote on me is bad. Bad, bad, bad.

#1. It's in a good pace to solidify the train. The 4th vote on a train is what takes it from viable to contender. It also doesn't carry as much heat as some of the other places.
#2. It is a reversal of the direction Dom's thought process was going in. He goes from 'liking my substance' to 'agreed' that I have no content in like, 12 hours while I was gone.
#3. Opportunistic

"Disgusting."

If anyone has any questions to ask me before you lose my first role, feel free to ask them instead of screaming into the void about how bad I am.

Otherwise I'll just continue letting off steam into the thread until you are all moist.

Lynching at randon just because it gives us a result is worse than trying to lynch and having a good chabce of failure. We learn nothing from the former since votes were meaningless. From the later we at least have a vote tally we can dissect later.
Classic civilian response. I will say that the logic is more pro-civilian here than in a round robin where we leave our votes where they are and primarily twiddle our thumbs just to get a flip. Alright.

Argue about the RR and whether alignments change in the future was all he did on Day 1. Dropped a vote on speedchuck as a starter but never finished. Not great.
Dragon D. Luffy wrote: Tue Feb 27, 2018 2:31 pm I'm still feeling somewhat bad about Speedchuck but it's better than yesterday.

I'm feeling worse about Nutella though.

VOTE NUTELLA

aubergine
First I'm hearing about this. Explain pls.
Did you miss the part where I caught Nutella on TMI? There was a dozen posts of people talking about it.

The rest is gut tbh.
I don't agree with this. That TMI accusation was a huge reach, and not believable. I've never seen a Day 1 baddie accidentally confirm that they know a Civ is a Civ. nutella's been playing for a decade, and I'm really comfortable in believing that wasn't a slip.

Although I don't put much stock in the "Epi mouthpiece" thing, S~V~S' observation that nutella is a little sharper-edged than usual is apt. I'm not that great at specific meta recollections, but I know that S~V~S is. Some active corroboration with past nutella games would be better.

Point is, I think DDL is bad, and if he is, then I count it as another strike against nutella, because the TMI accusation, and the callback to it, just strike me as contrived.

I flip the flop on Speedchuck, but he seems a little down right now. Perhaps when I [VOTE: Dragon D Luffy] aubergine he'll cheer up.

It happened sometime between the start of Day 1 and the post I made calling it out. I'm not sure when it will result in anything, if at all. Lots of plates in the air. I've still got my eye on it.

Also, it's not fake, I'm just not certain it'd be helpful yet.

It just bothers me that scum slips are extremely rare, like lightning falling on a specific place, yet you are saying you'll only reveal the place when the lightning falls on it again.

Why does that bother you? It's exactly because they're so rare that I'm waiting to confirm my suspicions before jumping down someone's throat about it. If it happens once, I'm not going to put weight behind it. If it happens again, Boom. Got 'em.

Did my DDL vote ping you a little bit? Why did you preface with that?

I wasn't trying to give solace or cover to the baddies. I'm not even sure how you mean that, do you mean I prematurely potentially exposed the man behind the curtain?

I said it because that's how DDL struck me on the reread. You are DharmaHelper, so I have a pretty big bias saying that the slip is a made-up ploy. Are you not the type who would enjoy doing such a thing? So that's how I've been reading things surrounding it: what info would a fake slip-reveal bring up? What's DH looking for? Looking at DDL's post in that light, he looks like a nervous baddie who can't stop worrying about the slip. "Was it me that slipped?" :scared:

You lost me on this one. Love the Crazy Pills thing, but speedchuck and Epig voting DDL being Crazy Pills... I'm just not following.
They're voting together and defending each other cuz they're not teammates.
Well then I guess my last post doesn't look to good to you then. :haha:

FINALLY a post from speedchuck that is somewhat useful. Thanks bud. So you're saying you'd vote for Sprityo, Quin, SVS, Epignosis overr say, C-Bob or me? Very useful idea of where you're head is at suspect-wise. Love this.
What in the balls did you read?
I'm sorry I must be confused from the previous execution of your rainbow lists. So you *wouldn't* vote for the names in green over a name in yellow?
Ah, I get it. I could tell you were being sarcastic instead of helpful, but didn't understand where you were going with it.

Ugh I hate this lynch I think speed and ddl both look mostly civ. I trust speed more though so I guess I'll vote for DDL, speed's points against him in the iso post and LC's point about the slip are decent and I think at this point I'd rather vote with speedchuck than throwaway vote outside the two contenders. Looks like shit if speed turns out to be bad, but I don't think he is so I'm taking the gamble here. Not feeling great about it though.

Compare this to your vote(s) for me where you gave no reason.

I like you made some progress in this. I do.
That doesn't undercut everything else about you.

This post is shitty af tho.

I liked like two of your posts out of three pages.

You're upset that buddying up to me didn't help you.

If speedy's bad, then his Day 1 last-minute Quinvote was for a reason, right? Like, a bad reason. Saving a teammate? What else could it be?

Maybe he's just a guy who has opinions that can evolve, and played it pretty loose due to haikuGate. That guy could be bad or good, but I'm not really buying the rainbow list lockdown you guys are giving him. He posted a rainbow list, and changed his mind about it. Not really a crime.

Nah. My post is fine. You being condescending about it isn't. You belittle it because you need something to help support your argument against it. I don't know how anyone could look at the last ten-fifteen posts of your ISO and think "Yeah, that makes sense, I see that thought progression and that vote on speedchuck definitely wasn't influenced by his train gaining prominence."

There is literally nothing to justify your turnabout in momentum. You went from "Yeah, I'll hear this guy out, what do you think DH?" to "I agree, he sucks, let's vote him" without ANY new information being added except for an OMGUS vote from DDL.

I'd have to believe that I've done something wrong, or failed in some way, to qualify DDL as worse than me. I delivered a case already. LC has supplemented that case.

That is true. Of course, Quin has had enough content from then to now that his read could have gone greener again.

Is a fluctuating read a reliable sign of a baddie?

In your words, pretend you are speedchuck baddie who took a truth serum. Answer, speedchuck, why did you vote for Quin when he's green on both iterations of your rainbow list?
