Hey @Kylemii! Remember a few days ago when you were gung-ho about making ISOs for people in the immediate aftermath of your upchuck party? What happened to that?
I know you’re insanified for some reasonand we’ve at least got GTH of people, but I’d really like to know what your strongest pull is.

@Marmot has not made a single post that I can't see coming from a mafia member. That's not a very good look. I also don't really know where he stands on anything. He just keeps self-voting and making small observations here and there.

Wilgy self voting telling us he is silenced.
Huh.
Didn’t know we had a silencer. Where was the silencer D2? Did someone not post in D2?
I don’t buy it.

People may speculate or assume, but it would be infodumping to outright confirm that any particular effect in the game was caused by your role, even if you have died and your former role is known publicly.

Re: Cerberus Tribe - Day 1
I know Sloonei already ISO’d Wilgy but I thought I’d take a look at his stuff too since I’m currently voting for him.
UNLESS he is Tina Wesson, (who we know is on our tribe) in which case that’s slightly infodumping, isn’t it? Or is it? I’m not sure if claiming something abstract like that would count. Like, if I said I was a Libra IRL is that infodumping, or just claiming? In either case, there’s no way to prove it.
Hey @Golden does that count as infodumping if used in abstract syntax as my rhetorical example of Wilgy suggests?
When Wilgy jumps on Sloon off a comment I made in D1 I found it ok at the time because I had a similar viewpoint but when I look back on someone, I gotta question sanity of someone agreeing with me. Just in general, I’m not used to that and it makes me even more critical of that person lol.
His D2-N2 consists of him in the corner listening to Dancing Queen on repeat like a lobotomized mental ward patient. There’s nothing else brewinf there. And now this silenced nonsense.
Maybe he really is silenced and then silencer just chose not to use it N1. But then the question becomes- why Wilgy? It wasn’t like he was talking much to begin with.
Bottom line
——————————————-
Unless he really happens to be Tina (a role I can only see as town-aligned), I think he’s a good candidate to vote today.
lol I know he says this every game but the declarative flavor is highly ironic because he’s probably lying, considering the doctor was just killed in the other tribe.

Taking the easy way out on Wilgy, I see.
But yeah, that'll keep happening until he starts being the Wilgy I know our Wilgy can be. It's too easy but it's not necessarily wrong and I'm not really feeling my old reads that much.
I guess I'd lynch Spacedaisy as an alternative but that's probably an easy way out too.

Re: Cerberus Tribe - Day 3
I showed up at work, worked for an hour, and then we lost power. So now I'm just sitting around on my phone with nothig to do.
Jack feels town to me. His suspicion of me feels genuine. He's not overdoing it and he's not straining to manipulate others to see his point of view; he's just stating his concerns and talking about things. He's probably my strongest town read in the thread.
Daisy and I mind-melded a couple of times early on and that also got me feeling good about her. She's been absent for a while now. I don't necessarily hold thay against her, but it's prevented any of us from developing our reads against her.
Scotty's first role feels indie to me. I'm still not sure what that would mean for his second role, but I've liked his presence today. He feels like he's solving the game.
I wanted to focus on Kyle today, but he's insanified so that can't really happen effectively.
Marmot and INH are the two players I should probably turn my focus to next. With a gun to my head, I'd call INH a civilian and Marmot scum, but I've done minimal homework on either of them.
Blooper died Night 1 and I've kind of been giving her a pass since then. Her death leads me to believe that she was town in her first life and would presumably come back the same alignment (maybe), but she hasn't said a whole lot either. She could be looked at some more as well.
I could vote for wilgy. I also still have lingering doubts about sig, boomslang, and LoRab, but none of them jump out as strong suspects.

What scenario do you see more likely? That the silencer forgot/chose not to use their power N1 or that Wilgy is faking it?
If the former, who in this group would be wont to hold off early? I guess so as not to stifle discussion?

Re: Cerberus Tribe - Day 3
Hey there, folks! Welcome to Survivor!
I need three volunteers from your tribe ASAP.
Each volunteer will receive a puzzle, as soon as I can send one within seeing a PM notification. The volunteers will then have until end of Day 3 (5:52PM Eastern time) at the latest to solve the puzzle.
The faster that your tribe's volunteer completes the puzzle, the better chance he or she has to help your tribe win the prize! Specifically, I will add the time between my sending out each puzzle and the volunteer's correct response. Any incorrect answer will simply mean your volunteer fails that puzzle.
The tribe that has the most correct puzzles first will be the winner! In the event of a tie, the least total time for all puzzles will be used as a tiebreaker.
The Prize: The winning tribe will have lynch immunity for their entire tribe and will be able to send one person to the other tribe to ‘observe’ (get viewing permission but not be allowed to post or vote) until end of Night 3.
Please PM the Jeff Probst sock account to volunteer. I will only accept the first three volunteers from each tribe. Good luck!

Hey Jeff! Can I get another bag of rice? Or at least a machete to fend off all these pesky marmots on the beach?
Wish I had seen this earlier. I’m assuming three puzzle people have already volunteered. If we lose this challenge, we’ll get a lynch (which like...aight) but more importantly we don’t want their mafia team gaining a chance to view our....gregarious...thread.

Make sure whoever volunteers is ready to do a puzzle. If it’s anything like how I did Survivor, time starts when it gets sent! If I recall, I think Boomslang misread that direction in my game and it cost the tribe a lot of time (and the challenge) when he submitted it the next day

But while I’m here, I will agree with your assessment of jack. I don’t know if it’s also the fact that he’s 3rd in posts (next to my word vomit) and his reaponses seem fluid and natural in profession.
I think you’re looking pretty civ as we go along too, but that has a lot to do with your engagement in the thread.
Even if you’re mafia, I still feel like you’re infusing life into the thread. It benefits civs more

Re: Cerberus Tribe - Day 3
Game balance thought:
Golden has said the tribes are randomly split- whether or not that incorporates mafia randomly splitting or not is to be seen. If so, and they’re all over here, then garshnoodawump.
But a bigger dilemma lies in the 2nd role payout. The rules state that if a mafia member dies in the 1st role, then they retain their win condition. But this isn’t necessarily the reverse...which means it should be no surprise that a dead civ in the first role can then become mafia. This brings up a lot of questions balance-wise that I’m sure golden has accounted for:
-would this influx be accounted for in the beginning?
-Does it even iself out towards end game?
-Would the 2nd role iteration be a separate mafia faction?
If there are, say, 4 mafia split between 23 people with 2-3 indies thrown in for extra measure, that seems like a pretty good 2nd Role split.
So where do the 1st role alignments stand? Are there perhaps 3 mafia at the beginning with the potential for a guaranteed mafia member to be recruited via their second life? And what if there were just as many civs as indies in 1st role? So like 7-8 LMS roles where if you die it’s like ‘oh well, I tried, now I’m a fucking stump.’
I don’t foresee 2 different mafia teams, but weirder things have happened. So far we haven’t even seen alignments and won’t for some time unless we (nijuu and I) are lynched.
So I’m broadening my horizons here with this 2 life mechanic. I think there are less mafia now to make up for an addition of 1-2 more along the way. There’s no real way of knowing from one role to the other aside from good ole fashioned vote analysis and tonal discrepancies.
I don’t see is having a serial killer type role yet, seeing as 2 night’s Gabe gone by with only one kill apiece. I’m not sure a SK would have kept it in their pants this long (maybe I’m wrong). This is NOT to say that an SK won’t be assumed in the 2nd Role phase..this might also be a balancing mechanism to outweigh a burgeoning mafia team of, say, 5.
It’s going to be quite unfulfilling to have to wait through all these roles being killed without alignment shown.

Re: Cerberus Tribe - Day 3
All caught up. Thoughts and responses as follow.
My vote for Blooper was primarily an attempt to get a real read of me from her, which she has still yet to provide. I was concerned when she failed to engage with me in her big roundup of suspects (Sloon, Sig, Lorab), given the shade others have been throwing my way in the thread. I also didn't like the little seed she planted about no one being bad in the tribe, which feels demoralizing to those of us actually hunting.
Kyle: Yeah, I do think your Wilgy comment is a baddie ping. It suggests that you've been playing the game opportunistically rather than paying closer analytical attention. If you were really trying to solve the game, you'd be taking stock of all the players in it.
I don't particularly like Scotty's flip-flop on vote spreading. He goes from this:

Re: Cerberus Tribe - Day 3
I disagree, if civilians can become mafia, then I would imagine there are at least two mafia teams, almost like a recruitment game of sorts.Scotty wrote: ↑Sat Mar 03, 2018 12:06 pm Game balance thought:

But that's a big IF.
I imagine more that the alignment of your second role is dependent on what the actual role is. From a game balance perspective, it makes sense that any mafia member who dies will return as mafia, so maybe a civilian ==> indy, or vice versa is possible.

If what you muse about is correct Scotty, that means you have a higher likelihood of being anti-town than any other player in this thread.
