I'm making one last effort to understand what's going on and how players can even translate things, so it would possibly help me get why players have changed their minds about other players.
If any single Hero were to find Bandage Girl/Dr. Fetus, that player would have been informed that they found her via PM from me. Then of course I also say that Dr. Fetus was found in the night post.

All of the Heroes work exactly the same way; they have the same night actions as Meat Boy. In the video game, you can select which character you want to use on a level, if that helps to clarify.

Of course, I should also clarify that Heroes may have additional night powers other than searching a level, and that Bandage Girl has no power (she can't search for herself).

Hopefully that helps, Mata. Let me know if it doesn't.

That was weird. Did Dego think llama was role hinting? And if so, what does that mean to us now?

I think I have made up my mind: Hedgeowl.
Interesting how today's vote has gone. Sure let's see who Boomslang is. We will definitely learn something from this lynch I'd think.

*votes Boom*

Wow, congrats Tofuslang! Yeah...that doesn't work as well as Baddieslang. Well played sir, well played. I am quite surprised that you even defended yourself so much. Hmm, will have to ponder what this means for tomorrow.

I am picking level 4!

I went through the polls and did a little tabulating to see how the patterns are forming. Some interesting stuff here for sure.

RIP MR and BWT!

I was definitely suspecting BWT myself, so going to have to look at things with fresh eyes.
After all this vague talk of "learn[ing] something," "ponder[ing] what that means," "interesting stuff," and "fresh eyes," this is the conclusion:
I have also convinced myself that AP is not acting himself and think he is potentially bad. I am acting on intuition, which is usually terrible foe me, so I know if I should even encourage others to vote for him. if so and is civs I will feel really guilty, but I am having an impossible time reading people this game.

Vomps has fought me off his vote with sparkly, well thought out and articulate defense, so I won't be voting him today. Not so sure about Mattmatt though.

I decided Vomps is being a standard weirdo, and not a guilty weirdo.

I think Mattmatt deserves a second look but today I shall give him the benefit of the doubt since he has been more vocal in this game than I think any other game I've ever seen him in. That tends to make me think he's a-okay.

Jiggy's said some weird things, so today the vote will be getting Jiggy with it.

I have to vote now, since I'm going to work out and have class after. Nothing has changed over the past day period to make me reconsider my suspicions. Mata has taken one vote so far, yesterday from llama, who notably got NKed immediately after. I don't trust her listmaking, and I think maybe that vote scared her and her teammates into offing llama2.0. A reaction like that makes me think she must be bad, but not Dr. Fetus.

I still don't have a clue. I thought when russtifinko and llama both mistrusted hedge earlier in game, and then they changed their minds about her, that maybe she was good. But she has the most votes so far. So maybe I am wrong. Which is not surprising. I'll probably follow the majority-think, because I got nothin.

Yeah...I was feeling ok about Epi and starting to about Lizzy. Definitely feel confirmed in my vote for AP now and starting to eye Mata for that vote as well. :eye: This case Epi made on me basically says I am wishy-washy and blendy. I have been pretty busy and havent devoted time to this game, like others in the past. Interesting that his case is so weak however. He left out of my quotes concerning my suspiciosn on AP as well. I feel that this is possibly a baddie Epi trying to draw attention to me with a weak case. I actually wonder if Llama having a possible change of heart on me was his doom. (Forgot he did that btw). I have been put on the back burner by many, but make an excellent candidate to revisit I am sure. This game is clearly being controlled by baddies unfortunately and we do really need to lynch one, but that wont happen today.

Ah well, maybe tomorrow.

It is now Night 8. You have 24 hours to wait... unless you are Dr. Fetus. In that case, you have 24 hours to select a foe to face in the Final Boss Battle!!

I read your post above mine that you were going to vote of me, so wrote it as if you had. I clearly gave you the window you needed.

Anybody else find it interesting how many people voted for me in the lynch? I doubt Lizzy, Epi, AP, and Mata are all bad. That would honestly make no sense for a team, but with this few people left it's probably guaranteed that with that many votes I caught a baddie or two. 1/3 of the people vote for me and I am still a baddie? I don't think so. :evileye:

If my post sounds too cavalier the reasons are because I am civ and don't have to feel too bad if I die since so many die anyway. For those of you in LOST or in AG, think about it. How careful a game do I play as a baddie? This is clearly not my baddie game at all.

I could put more effort into this defense for sure, but it's Thanksgiving soon and so we are busy packing and traveling this week. I am pretty excited about pie at this point, so if you want to lynch me on Thanskgiving at least I will have pumpkin, cherry, and apple to comfort me. :noble:

You didn't appreciate my massive vote tabulation after BOom's lynch? That shit takes time homey. Do you not suspect AP? I find his voting to be highly suspect this game.

Also, Mata is throwing suspicions at the wall to see if they stick like nothing I have seen before. But then I have never played her as a true baddie before. Maybe this is the first?

Considering Jiggy was civ, doesn't make Devin look great right now either, but it could be just a case of friends irl reading each other wrong as Llama does me every single time (and me this one time. Yeah first time I voted for llama I think).

Oh also, anyone want to volunteer that they found Dr. Fetus and thats why we moved to the Final? No, really? Cause I know who did. :wine:

I actually used your big post to decide to vote for you. "Some interesting stuff here" you said, and yet you never came back to articulate what interesting stuff.

As for AP, I always suspect him. Always. And I've been 100% wrong every time we lynched him. Gambler's fallacy? Yeah. But you didn't make a case on him. You just said you had shitty intuition, which is what you were acting on:

I actually never mistrusted Hedge, I said early and often that the case against her was baloney. I feel even more strongly about it after this lynch and I think her defense has been sincere. I'll be shocked if this is bad Hedge, and I'll be eyeing her voters strongly for tomorrow. I don't regret my Mata vote at all

My team is every civilian everywhere, despite of nationality, race or creed. Civs need a fighting chance at life, and I am campaigning and advocating for that in every way.

Let's stand up for freedom! Stand up for liberty! And stand up for democracy.

Stand up, civs! Let your voice be heard. Only you can defend yourself adequately. Every man (civ) is an island, and we can't phone it in like the baddie team. They can rely on one another, without feel or reprisal or suspicion. Let's take back our power.

Stand with me, and stand for the civs.

MP, do we get to find out Jigsaw's role despite him being modkilled? He did receive some lynch votes today, so maybe you could count it as a sort-of lynch?

But she has the most votes so far. So maybe I am wrong. Which is not surprising. I'll probably follow the majority-think, because I got nothin.
I actually never mistrusted Hedge, I said early and often that the case against her was baloney. I feel even more strongly about it after this lynch and I think her defense has been sincere. I'll be shocked if this is bad Hedge, and I'll be eyeing her voters strongly for tomorrow. I don't regret my Mata vote at all
Maybe she meant Lizzy or MR? Also, if you are a baddie this game, good job, because your staunch defense of me definitely sways my opinion that you might not be a baddie. It's amazing how effective it is. I really dont want you to be bad, so dont be k? :)

Linki - no I think he was just modkilled. As hard as the baddies tried, I was not going to die this lynch. :D

My case on Hedgeowl was not that she was blendy or wish-washy.

It was that she kept saying "This will give us more inform...time to reflect on this...going to look at this with fresh eyes...OK, voting A Person."

There were no new insights since the Boomslang suspicion.

Hedgeowl wrote:I have also convinced myself that AP is not acting himself and think he is potentially bad. I am acting on intuition, which is usually terrible foe me, so I know if I should even encourage others to vote for him. if so and is civs I will feel really guilty, but I am having an impossible time reading people this game.

*votes AP*
Soooo....
I will concede that the case you made on me was better than the case I didnt make on AP. I have been suspecting him for a while. You did read my posts right? If I finish folding laundry soon, then maybe I will bring it to AP. I agree that I find it very hard to read him, but I feel that his voting ahs been opportunistic and calculating this game. He voted me for the first time, only after I voted for him for example.

Alright I just reread AP more thoroguhly and basically he has as terrible a track record as the rest of us. Nothing in his posts makes me feel that he is civ and some of his defenses make me think he may be protecting himself more than I have seen before. Since we havent lynched a baddie and cant learn much based on votes I think i will look back at dead civ voting records. They may have been misguided, but werent purposely trying to vote for civs.

My apologies Russti. In my read back earlier today, I overlapped a post about elo and hedge, and I thought it was hedge that you were questioning. So now I see that you have defended hedge all game. :ponder:

Tomorrow we leave for the Panhandle of Florida (which is where I am from and which is why I have a bit of a lilty Southern accent, but it's faded over the years, or that's what Llama said anyway) to attend Thanksgiving dinner.

Which is why I'm packing. And James is...burning CDs. And drinking eggnog. :evileye:

Anyway. That's where I will be. My family lives in the middle of the woods, so I rarely can get wireless reception. When I make my daily trips into town, I will be doing drive-by votes based on things I've likely already read, so if it sounds like I'm phoning it in, I am literally doing that. I'll find patches here or there to check in though.

Everyone have a safe and happy holiday (if you celebrate American Thanksgiving). Otherwise...Happy Thursday!
