Eggplant.
But I don't see him engaging with Epi, or anyone else for that matter. This is an easy vote for a player who is acting strangely.

I hear a rumor you might be bad this game. Tell me about that rumor.

(I’m happy with my Epi vote btw.)
He poked me last night with rumors of rumors. It went nowhere:

I haven’t read any of your posts from before the last three or so pages so “not really.”

You have no thoughts on your accusers?
These questions feel directionless and empty. I could vote for Jack. Let's do it. [VOTE: Jackofhearts] aubergine

I just saw someone mention lynching her, but no right now she's null. No nova isn't, I'd say I don't really have preferred lynch. I've got alot more civ reads than mafia. I see the reasoning for why speed could be bad so could go there or another low poster.

Someone asked me about mac and lc. Mac is a solid civ read right now LC is a civ lean. I think he's wrong on dunya and hasn't posted much of anything else that i remember.

The only issue ive got with dunya is her vote especially seeing how she's the second wagon.

It's weak, but twofold: (1) I get a sense that he's being genuine across his posts; he's playing the game super casually, but he is also poking and prodding at anything he sees as noteworthy, and it's logical that TH would play this way coming back from a long absence. (2) If TH were bad, I think he would be playing less casually because he'd feel more pressure to put on his analytical game earlier than not; because he's capable of playing anywhere in the spectrum of super casual to super intense (I would know; I've seen it all at some point), he has to know that playing more towards this spectrum will be more likely to get him attention but he's doing it anyway which indicates to me he's being genuine about it.

Dunya - this lynch is based on a scumslip I don't believe occurred. Frankly, I think it's ridiculous, and I refuse to vote there.
Nova - I have no idea why Nova has any votes.
Talk about Jack and Marmot
On second thought I like Marmot's votes. They good. The first half of his ISO pinged me, but I like the recent stuff. He's moving from zany to business, which doesn't usually happen when he's scum.

Jack has towned. He is towning.

I’m actually leaving my vote on Epi. Mostly because they haven’t posted since I started on page 12ish but I don’t see any compelling reason to vote Dunya or Nova and I don’t feel like Slooneiing with a vote I don’t intend to let sit still to try to make waves.

Linki: it seemed like your town than i remembered the othet game with you. And I'll be honest it kinda is a forced vote. I don't like it, but I also don't want epi/dunya to be lynched.

@mp it's mainly based off of Macs point on speed.

Very quickly coming through dunya's ISO, and I'm not quite sure how I feel about her still. On the one hand, I feel like she's made genuine attempts to explain her thought process. But on the other hand, I still feel like she's continually going after low-hanging fruit with respect to her suspects and I feel like the most likely explanation of that is because she's trying to force her townplay as scum. Her rainbow list is very... ehhhh. Boring. Safe. I honestly feel like she's playing the game exactly how I play the game when I'm mafia.

That said, I'm not sure how comfortable I feel voting her out right now. I'd rather return after a full-fledged re-immersion in the game and reassess her fairly because my opinion on her more recent content is relatively uninformed having just quickly skimmed... but I'd also rather catch scum, so if I don't feel like my vote is better used elsewhere, I may just leave it where it is.

I also don't buy the whole argument regarding what dunya said about Dom's meta; I don't really care about that. I only care about what she's saying right now in this game, and I think there's more than enough to assess there. I'm a bit wary of those who are concentrating more on what she's supposedly said about someone's meta outside the game instead. Doesn't seem important to me at all.

In dunya’s defense, she probably made as many reads as she could on the surface level before departing for places unknown (Paris?)

I don't believe he's ever been mafia and is still new to mafia as a whole compared to all of us, he's also deadily as an independent and in my opinion if he's one of those three trading guys he'll side with mafia for the lolz.
But no one asked about wolbre yet. :ponder:

Good to know nonetheless. Looking forward to playing with you, wolbre!
I don't like this post its weird, light scum ping on MP
What don't you like about it ? Him calling you out ?
All of nova's game-relevant content stems from this exchange and all that was established by it was the fact that sig and nova have played a couple games together. In my experience with nova he has been quiet early in games, and he's been town each time, so I'm not alarmed that he's been a low-key figure in this one. I do want there to be more content here, though.
@novaselinenever where is your head at right now? What do you think of the people who are voting for you and do you have any other reads to share?
I'm catching up as we speak.

I don't have much Turnip so far. Haven't seen much from him or at least nothing caught my eye. I'll iso his posts after catching up.
MacDougall is one of my strongest Town read atm. I've like his posts since he arrived and he was asking the right questions and making the right observations unlike you where most of your questions felt hollow and there was no follow up. I especially liked his interactions with Golden.
Sig is someone I haven't like so far since his initial posts. Some of his posts pinged me where he appeared to not have any stance at all. Seemed like he was intentionally being careful and not being genuine. One post in particular where he played the two sides by agreeing with Dunya's read iirc but also not liking her post. It was a weird one and iirc it was flagged by a few other players.
He also flip-flopped in an interesting manner. I recall him painting me as a quiet Town and thus gave me a Town read earlier based on meta. However his reasons for voting me was because I and I quote " often coast as scum on NF ". So that feels like a forced vote to me. I might have more on him meta-wise if he shares his NF username and if we have played beforehands.

Yeah honestly I'd rather give her the BOTD and find a better suspect for today. I want to catch up and talk with her in real time. We'll see.

What are your thoughts, Scotty? Where would you recommend I consider voting?
Wherever you want dude, it’s a free market.

Check out lunalee and tell me if you’re seeing what I see. Her iso ain’t long.

Epi and to an extent, LC, are the ones that were continuing to push the dunya Dom scumslip. I don’t think Epi looks town right now.

Did you have an opinion on NVN before just now?
I did think his thoughts on sig seemed a bit meh earlier in the moment in which Golden and Mac were discussing that interaction, but having examined his entire behavior I'm not really feeling that anymore.

I expect part of it is lying low so they don’t put a target on their back D1.

Part of it could also be that they’re bad.

Is it? I'm new to GTH. I thought the gun was only supposed to force you to say town or scum instead of null.
The whole premise of Gun to Head is that it is just that- assumptions you would make on people if you had a gun to your head. Not organized beforehand where you say “ok, I’m thinking I’ll maybe call him bad and him good and oh! Looks like I need to come up with a few more grease monkeys!”

Bad look

I will say that jack seems different from his pregnancy in GoC but is it enoug to make him scum? I dunno
First of all, congrats on the big news, Jack! Is it a boy or girl?

Second, in what way does he seem different to you?
I’ve brought this up before, and you’ve already touched on it. He seems silly and his investment is quite casual. I’m not sure if he’s just trying a different technique or what, but he was poking his nose in closets that didn’t need to be opened in GoC. Here it’s like he just lit a Yankee Doodle candle because he doesn’t feel like smelling cat hair

Hmmm... I'm not sure I'm digging what Lunalee is throwing down.

Lunalee, why is dunya genuine exactly? You keep emphasizing that ad nauseum, but Golden, Mac, and I have put as much into the thread as she has, and at some point you even said you didn't buy what I was saying. Explain.

I'm moving my vote there now until I get a response upon which I can reassess.

M Plus 7 wrote: Tue Apr 24, 2018 3:50 pm I also don't buy the whole argument regarding what dunya said about Dom's meta; I don't really care about that. I only care about what she's saying right now in this game, and I think there's more than enough to assess there. I'm a bit wary of those who are concentrating more on what she's supposedly said about someone's meta outside the game instead. Doesn't seem important to me at all.
I think you misunderstand the point. It's not meant to be a leading reason to lynch dunya. It's meant to corroborate other suspicions of her in the future. And it's not about what she said in the discord. It's about what she said in this thread.

Dunya claims to know my meta desptie also claiming to not play with me. Therefore, someone told her my meta. Who and how? Those are important questions. She gave us answers, and for now, I'm content to sit back and see what else she does.

Another thing that bothers me about Lunalee is that she threw a vote onto LC because he was the first to start the dunya bandwagon, but she seemingly makes no attempt to discern whether LC was being genuine. Townies can genuinely suspect other townies. Happens all the time.

Feels like she's playing on auto-pilot.
