If you were in our position and someone else was in yours, wouldn't you agree with our perspective?

No need to get stroppy either way.

To be honest I had the opposite thought. If they were talking about it in the BTSC like. "I'm going to vote for you but don't worry I will switch back to Jack if you get votes" it seems more likely that Jack is a civilian that MP had picked as his fallback case in case of emergency and if that's the case he's more likely not in their team.
I'd imagine a third party here, also no risk at being lynched might be on their team too.

$10 says Lunalee's next post is a vague comment about how she doesn't think it was a scumslip or that LC is bad.

We need to keep the discussion moving and the heat on a variety of players. I don't want anyone getting complacent or just coming in and parking on Sloonei and then fucking off.
Seriously?

Colin has 5 votes just like Sloonei. Why do you complain about the Sloonei wagon?>
Colin didn't have 5 votes when I said that. I just threw in Sloonei's name because he was clearly leading at the time with the most votes. Either way, poorly worded.. I echo the same exact sentiment for any wagon with 5 votes on it.

I also felt like Sloonei is more suspicious than Colin, though probably not by much anymore now that Dom and Golden explained the Colin suspicion to me more.

Why are you upset about it?

It's OK to have wagons in the latter stage of the Day phase, by all means. But we need to keep discussion going on everyone and that's more likely if there aren't huge wagons early in the day phase. That's all I'm saying.
Hey guys, remember when MP7 defended the Sloonei lynch despite listing him as a strong scumread.

Before I left I was afraid I was unfairly tunneling him, but having returned to all of this and seen subsequent posts from him, I don't think I was. What is bugging me right now actually is this post, which LC made right after I left earlier today. What bothers me about it is specifically the second section the most, where he simultaneously is backtracking on me but also doubling down on his perspective that I'm strawmanning. It reads inorganic and forced, like LC's trying to still be consistent in his suspicion of me (which mafia tend to do) while also putting his foot off the brakes a bit.

I'd still like to engage with Jack though. ;)

I would love a bit of an explanation here.
MP and LC have a heated argument, spilling over from my interaction with LC. It lasts for a half hour and then both suddenly drop the hostilities and keep their votes on each other. Neither will get lynched today
I love your brain.
Agreed. This is beautiful.
Also, MP said he was moving his vote to Jack, but didn't.
But I did move my vote to Jack? I voted you, then Jack, then back to you again.

Also, MP said he was moving his vote to Jack, but didn't.
But I did move my vote to Jack? I voted you, then Jack, then back to you again.

Where did you tell him this?

Alright I have like 7 pages to read here. I made the mistake this week of picking up "Harry Potter and the Methods of Rationality", a famous fanfic that has its own website. So in addition to playing mafia and working a full-time job, I've read 650k words in the past four days, or the equivalent of 85% of the Bible.

People should not let me near books. At least, not lengthy and riveting ones.

(and judging by the ten linkis, all hell is breaking loose. Anything I can help with before looking at the last 7 pages?)

In my vote post?

You're full of shit.
M Plus 7 wrote: Thu Apr 26, 2018 11:09 am For the sake of truly letting this LC thing go until I return, the last thing I'll do (promise) is move vote to Jackofhearts2005. I feel like of every player in this game that hasn't been really quiet, he's the one I just cannot get any handle on whatsoever. What say you, Jack? Where's your head at? Show us that supatown Jack we all want to see.

But just know that I also still think LC is bad (even if I have my doubts) and I want to know what you all think. :feb:

M Plus 7 wrote: Thu Apr 26, 2018 3:58 pm I'll move my vote back to LC for now.

[VOTE: LONG CON] aubergine

I'd still like to engage with Jack though. ;)
That's the train of events. I voted LC, then felt like I was tunneling him unfairly so I moved to Jack shortly thereafter, then came back into the thread a few hours after that and decided to vote LC again.

I have no idea why anyone would think I'd be then moving back to Jack again. There's nothing in my behavior or post history to suggest that. I'm assuming LC's post comes from a lack of realizing my vote was on Jack for a few hours.

The fact that he didn't clarify any of this though and just acted pissed off with you all means I'm totally fine with lynching him. But I'm certainly not involved in this.

I also would like to say that if any of you all think I'm distancing with LC, then I have no idea what to say to that. My behavior surrounding him is not indicative of the way I would handle a teammate, but I suppose I can understand why the conclusion would arise.

I'm guessing the post where LC said I'd move my vote to Jack? But I did say that in-thread, so...?

This isn't even plausible as a scumslip because why would, if any alignment, even move my vote back to Jack anyway?

Pretty much, yeah. I don't distance like this. It's sloppy.

I can see all the logic in your explanation MP and totally missed the posts you quoted.

Now my question is why LC didn't actually do what you just did?
